Possibly the best cover song ever. They took an iconic well known masterpiece from Simon and Garfunkel and made it better. Absolute brilliance and I'm not even a Disturbed fan. Simon and Garfunkel intended this as a warning but their version is very folky. Disturbed redid it from the viewpoint of anger that no one listened to the warning. So much emotion conveyed by Draiman and an absolute master class in voice control. On top of that you have an almost perfect visual from the video. I've watched this over 100 times and it hits me emotionally every single time. Nice reaction. Don't worry about your accent. What's more important is that give your honest opinion and if you need to switch into your natural language, people will figure it out. My favorite band, The Warning, is from Mexico and I watch reaction videos that are completely in Spanish, and I get by with the translator.
Thank you very much for your nice comment 🥰 Reading it was so interesting, I have a list of music to react to and the original version of this song is on this list, so I can't wait to see which version I will prefer 👀 And yeah, I agree, even the visual of the video transmit the emotion that they're trying to transmit in the song, it's amazing 🤩 Oh and if you want to suggest any song from your favorite band The Warning, don't hesitate, I'll add it to my list 😜
People as say that metal music is only one style why why they think it is only one genre??its just because the people have putt it in that genre in your own brain 🥁🎸 metal is just like the rest of the music diffrent in different situations (:(: why is it so special to putt music in this or that genre 🥁❤️🇸🇪 i can only say i like all genre music as i feel is good i dont care if it is rock..metal.. Pop.. Opera...folkmusic... THX Viyctoriya for a wonderful reaction on METAL MUSIC STYLE ❤️❤️🇸🇪
The lead singer was trained as a Jewish cantor, so he has an amazing musical foundation. Most of their music is metal or hard rock in nature, but if you liked this, you may like their songs: "If I Ever Lose My Faith In You," "A Reason To Fight," "Hold Onto Memories," and "The Light." Those videos are also beautifully crafted. Their harder music is also fascinating, but if it's not your usual style, ease into it, but it's so worth the exploration. They are a tremendously talented band! (Please don't apologize for your accent, you are perfect the way you are, very easy to understand and I am always impressed with people who can speak multiple languages!)
Oww first, thank you so much for your kindness and for what you said about my accent, you're so sweet and it means a lot ❤ And I really love all the informations you gave me, it's so interesting! 😊😯 I will definitely put the songs you suggested in my list, so I can discover them here on UA-cam with all of you 🥰 Oh and I don't mind trying some harder musics, as long as it's good music that is worth listening to 😜

Yeah, I do pause a lot... but not in every video and I don't know if or how many times I'm gonna pause a video when I start, so I warn people at the start, just in case... Lol
I first heard this song in July of 2023, so I think it was a wonderful version of the 1964 song. I get goosebumps too when I listen to it over and over. I just can't seem to play it enough. I love these reaction videos and the live concerts. I am a 78 year old female.
"The Sound of Silence" is one of those songs that, to me, sounds almost sacred. It's hymnal in tone, and his voice is so strong AND sensitive. Absolutely incredible.
Never worry about your English. You speak better than some that were born in America. No other song has giving me the feels more than Disturbed’s cover. David’s voice is my favorite. The man knows how to deliver in low, medium, high and rasp and does it without autotune.
Welcome to the club, as I have commented on many, this hits everyone the same but differently. Your silence at the end of the song while gathering your thoughts of what just heard and watched is typical, catches most off guard. Great reaction and look forward to you watching the live Conan version.
Thank you so much for commenting 🥰 Yeah, usually when I react I like to pause the videos to talk a little bit, but while watching and listen to this song, I didn't feel like pausing it, I didn't want to ruin it 😄🤗

I absolutely love the imagery of the boat taking the people with the instruments over to those with the sheet music so together they can end the silence.

Great reaction…this song is so powerful, and the lyrics are deep…gave me the chills when I heard this version by Disturbed… Do not apologize about your English…you speak very well…

Just subscribed. Let me please recommended an incredible artist to you for a reaction consideration. He is considered by many music experts as the greatest singer on the planet. Possibly ever. I agree. 7 octave range. Dimash Kudaibergen. His videos have millions of views and hundreds of reactors have viewed him. He haa worldwide fan base (his Dears). Suggest his signature performance of SOS (in French) 2018 as your start. You will be amazed. Trust me. Search Dimash SOS 2018. Promise u wont regret it. Your channel will be flooded wirh views. Be prepared.
Hey! Welcome to my channel, I'm happy to have you here with us! 🥰 I already know Dimash, he is one of my favorite singer, he is amazing I agree with you! 😍
Glad you are doing some music reactions. Please react to Morissette Amon, a great female vocalist. Try "rise up ", "never enough" or "defying gravity" for starters. She also has some original songs you may like!
I want to point out a few things I find odd about this reaction. 1) I didn't think that Muslims were allowed to listen to music like this and 2) The lead singer of this group was trained as a Jewish Cantor, I also was led to believe that Muslims hold Jews as mortal enemies. Just my opinion though 🤷
Lol okay first I like how you ended your comment with your UA-cam user name 😆 1) Some believe that listening to music is forbidden, although it's not written anywhere in our holy book. And the others (like me), believe that we can listen to music as long as it doesn't hurt anyone (no racist, vulgar, bad or violent music). 2) I don't know who told you that, but that was a loooong time ago, when people were riding horses and fighting with swords. Of course, there's always gonna be some people in both religions to create conflict, like there is always gonna be some humans too create fights in any circumstances, but it's not the majority. Personally, I have no hate for anyone that didn't hurt me personally 🥰 I hope my answers help you understand 😉😊

Yep! Do you have any songs you prefer from those bands? 👀
Why is your voice so fast? I thought my video was on 1.5x speed 😁
Lol that's because sometimes when I think that I talk too slow, I edit the audio to be a little bit faster 😂😆
@@viyctoriyareacts O, i get it. Merci beaucoup for the answer.
Great song, cool reaction!
Keep doing a good job!
Kisses from Romania.

If you would like to react to an artist you might not have heard of, I recommend Aesthetic Perfection with Bark at the Moon
Thank you for your recommendation, I will add it to my list 😉
You're English is fine....to be honest I've heard worse from quite a few English people! :) ...... This is the second of your reactions I've watched... the first was Morissette 'Rise Up', and I have to say that in your short 'reaction' career you've pulled out (in my opinion) two of the best covers ever made! Thats worth me clicking your subscribe button!
Aww thank you for this kind comment, that's really sweet of you 🥰 And welcome to my channel! Honestly both covers were suggested by my subscribers, si it's all thanks to all of you 😜
Just subscribed.
I'm definitely gonna put that in my list, thanks for your suggestion! 😜🥰
Lol okay first I like how you ended your comment with your UA-cam user name 😆
1) Some believe that listening to music is forbidden, although it's not written anywhere in our holy book.
Personally, I have no hate for anyone that didn't hurt me personally 🥰
I hope my answers help you understand 😉😊
Jolie version.
What is that on your head?
It's just an accessory that muslim girls wear if they want to 😉
The song is terrible, and over the top!!!
Everyone has his own opinion, you're free to hate it ^^
