ആക്ടിംഗ് റേഞ്ച് ഉണ്ട്. തമിഴിലെ ഏറ്റവും സൗന്ദര്യമുള്ള നടന്മാരിൽ ഒരാളാണ്. തമിഴിൽ ഇടവേളകൾ ഇല്ലാതെ സിനിമകൾ ചെയ്യണമായിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം തമിഴിൽ കത്തിനിൽക്കുന്ന നേരത്ത് ഹിന്ദി സിനിമകൾ ചെയ്തു, 2001 തൊട്ട്. ആദ്യത്തെ ഹിന്ദി സിനിമകൾ നന്നായി തീയേറ്ററിൽ ഓടിയില്ല, പക്ഷേ ഇപ്പോ ആളുകൾക്ക് aa സിനിമകൾ ഇഷ്ടമാണ്. പിന്നീട് അദ്ദേഹം 2003 നേരത്തോക്കെ തമിഴിലേക്ക് വന്നു, അവിടുന്ന് തൊട്ട് ഇത്തിരി സിനിമകൾ വലിയ ഹിറ്റ് ആയി. പക്ഷേ അത്യാവശ്യം സിനിമകൾ അത്ര ഹിറ്റ് ആയില്ല. വീണ്ടും ഹിന്ദി യിലേക്ക് പോയി, ഹിറ്റ് ചിത്രങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടായി, 3 idiots പോലെ പക്ഷേ main lead role ആയിരുന്നില്ല. അതുകൊണ്ടാണ്. ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ അതേ റേൻജിലുള്ള ആളാണ് സൂര്യ, ബാക്കി പറഞ്ഞവറൊക്കെ ഒട്ടും നന്നായി അഭിനയിക്കില്ല, ആകെ "മാസ്സ്" സിനിമകൾ ചെയ്യും.
