I recently gave interview for performance testing role. Where interviewer asked me. If you don't have any monitoring tool in your project then how you will identify the reason if any perticular transaction is having high response time. Can you please elaborate what should be the asnwer?
@@littleslawyoutubechannel I answered that I will utilize JMeter's built-in listeners and generate reports to analyze response times, throughput, and error rates. But, I would not be able to findout the reason why that perticular transaction took high response time. Which I think not the right answer and he also not looked satisfied from my answer. And, then jumped to other question and I could not ask for the right answer.

With the above question, I could think of is , i will try to integrate the JMeter with the src code /eclipse and will try run the test and identify the API's which is associated with the high response transaction. Try to put the logs/timer in between the API's and investigate whether it is app layer or DB layer issue.
