I love Franky, the man who was hit by a seatrain going full speed only to fix himself head to toe (excluding his back but including his eyes) with the wreckage of an abandoned ship. I mean that's a bloody and extremely painful thing to imagine, the lack of medical supplies due to being either taken or just outright unusable from exposure to the elements yet somehow he pulled through. You know he couldn't take anything for the pain since he needed his mind to be as functional as possible because self surgery is obviously not something you want to do when high. Franky is my favorite One Piece character and I always love when he gets any screen time. His new design I never disliked because... it's 100% Franky. Did anyone expect his redesign to be subtle? I will say the biggest misopportunity was in Film Z for not de-aging Franky because he would be pre-cyborg which really throw off the crew. He has to adjust not having his augmentations. I'm sure that DF doesn't work like that but it's a devil fruit, so the writers can do whatever they want for the story.
he is definitely one of the most underappreciated characters in One Piece. It's amazing how justified all of his actions (when he was still a "villain") are when you look at them from his perspective. and the way he took in all the cities "problem children" and unwanted people, gave them a family, home, and sense of identity really makes you appreciate what a great guy he is.
The water seven arc is probably my favourite arc. The introduction of Franky, the plot twist with the CP9 agents, Robin‘s decision to live and receive help, the Strawhats officially declaring war against the world government, the introduction of Luffy‘s Jet attacks and last but not least my favourite boss battle with Luffy‘s legendary Jet Gattling gun against Lucci. The animation of Luffy hitting Lucci with seemingly multiple fists is anime history for me.

Honestly didn't even think about the idea that Tom was referring to Frankys parents as well when he told Franky that he must accept what he's created. I love this series so much
Loved the video. That said I would argue against the point at 7:42 since I believe there's more to it. I say that because Franky is only able to tout his cyborg side until the after Water-7 and the timeskip. You mentioned he became a Battle-Franky so he'll have complete control over it, which is a fantastic point, but I'd add that compared to all previous BFs (and what would eventually be BFs 37+38) his cyborg side is hidden away and doesn't attract attention to itself. When Spandam pinned them for shooting the government ships, they were able to be framed due to how recognizable the BFs all were. Franky's cyborg anatomy pre-timeskip was concealed and needed to be revealed, all of it being under skin or clothing. The only real elements that give any clues would be his nose or chin, but with how characters are built within the OP world those wouldn't be efficient evidence on the truth of his body without it directly being shown. While he keeps the 'Super'-attitude and eccentricities, he doesn't ever create another BF after himself effectively never going to show his creations with an infamous 'DON'. Tom's values did stay with Franky, but he wasn't able to truly accept them until he could forgive himself for what happened. Which is why his post-timeskip design is such a perfect representation of his character and growth. He not only has the eccentric personality but he's able to show off his cyborg body (or BF-37) to the world with a 'DON'. (he also is able to show off his direct creations with the Franky Shogun. Which also presents itself and its creator with a 'DON', so much so that he is literally recognized by it by his wanted poster) Phenomenal video. Can't wait for Brook video, and the eventual Wano video and Nen Show episode when Oda finishes the arc in 5 years (that Oda finishing part was a joke, at least I hope).
Only one of the few channels with high subs who does real analysis on OP and I appreciate it. I'm not going to compare the series and say which is better but in the big 3 OP has the most complex world with different ideologies and more complex themes. But from what I've seen I have seen more analysis videos on naruto and most of the analysis Vid only comes from ur channel(in terms of relatively big channels） . That's why I really appreciate the content
Finally someone who sees it!! I would like the colors to be a bit less bright or maybe if he would change the colors of his shoulders and forearms for different arcs but i love his design nonetheless

He also had a fight against Baby 5 and Buffalo combined and defeated them, two Doflamingo family members at once, plus he ran over Big Mom with his bike and is now fighting one of the Flying Six.
