An alternate route is orzhov greasefang, actually threw a deck together the other week with similar ideas in mind. Greasefang himself or hotshot mechanic are great for crewing as well

I play this in Explorer, I call the deck Fairhallion, because I send the Parhellion without Greasefang with White,m and a few second ways to play.

The best games I have ever played took about an hour and everyone was playing budget which allowed more interesting cards to be played. Budget decks are best.
The worst games I have ever played take about 20 minutes and it is all the boring CEDH staples of the EDH format because Spike doesn't comprehend power lvls and would complain if they aren't winning despite winning every other game that FNM. Don't be that toxic Spike! Being proud that your Jodah 6k deck wins so easily against budget decks that cost under a hundred is a joke!
