- This is another video with Central Kentucky Backpackers meet up. In usual fashion, it is very amateur. I apologize for the shaky video. This ended up being a 27.2 mile trip over 2 nights and 3 days. Highlights included the lick creek falls, princess falls, markers arch, yahoo arch, yahoo falls, and many creek crossings. We had rain 2 of the 3 days. But, this was actually nice as it kept us cool, and allowed for a fantastic viewing of the falls. The first mile or so of trail is rather unremarkable, and is an access road of sorts. Once this ended, we came acrosss a few metal staircases that led us down into actual trails. This is a very fun trip that offers many worth wile attractions, and I do recommend it. I hope to be getting out to the BSF more in the future.

Myles Away! Thank you so much for this video. I grew up about a mile from the Lick Creek Trailhead. I prowled and played in those woods dozens of times in my youth. The Dairy Bar was a staple of my family's lives during those days. Been to Yahoo Falls many times, even deer hunted on the trails around the arches. It's good to see it all again. I now live in Tennessee near the Big South Fork. I hike and have a UA-cam channel with videos from hikes I've taken in the BSF. They're not very good but they may help you decide to see some more of the area. You know the Sheltowee Trace Southern Terminus is here in Tennessee at the Burnt Mill Bridge. The Big South Fork was described to me by a pair of Kentucky hikers I met in the backwoods as a lot like the Red River Gorge only a whole lot bigger and far fewer people. You guys need to see more of it. Come on down!
Thank you very much, they are fun to make. I really did enjoy our trip to the BSF, and definitely plan on going back. I can only imagine how fun it was growing up in that area. I will check out some of your videos for sure. Thank you for the heads up. I am always looking out for backpacking videos.

I definitely need to swim under Princess Falls! Very nice video of one of my favorite places to hike in Kentucky. I haven't been in that section in awhile.
