Anyone else kinda annoyed at "Honey Walnut Shrimp" being labeled incorrectly as "Honey Mustard" in the rankings every time? That's my favorite after Orange chicken at Panda Express!
Panda Express really isn't bad tbh. It's good, Chinese-American style food that isn't a complete salt bomb (looking at you, PF Changs/Pei Wei). Could do better with the noodles/fried rice but I think that's an issue with all hot table takeaways. Just get the steamed rice and make your own fried rice the next day.
I had panda express for the first time last june and i ordered orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, fried rice, and their chow mein (they’re all in one plate btw and it comes with a fortune cookie lol) I never had orange chicken before so my first was from panda express ofc and it tastes gooood, the rice and noodles are good as well. But the honey walnut shrimp surprised me..I thought I wasn’t gonna like it but it was so damn good! And earlier my family ate their once again and ofc I ordered the same thing because I haven’t eaten there for almost 6 months, I was expecting for the food to be soggy but the shrimp was hot and crispy! It was a great experience 💯 Edit: there were some entrees that aren’t available here in the 🇵🇭 but hopefully they will come soon :)
About 9 years ago I started watching your videos. and I've been loving them. That's even when Julia had a Messed up tooth. but ever since you got your new house and your dog I don't enjoy your videos as much anymore.. I will not be following you guys anymore. It's been fun. my bro told me, never get fried rice cause he was alway eat chow mein everytime i buy him food from panda. Tried honey walmnut shrimp recently after havin another local chinese restaurant's one.
I’m so happy you caught this… I was cringing with every Al la carte option… but alas as a business decision I had to outweigh the rip off to the unnecessary additional sides I would get with the combos
@HellthyJunkFood Ok that was not chow mein that was a crappy lomein chow mein is a crispy noodle with some meat and gravy like substance also usually accompanied by cabbage and carrots.
The little pack of white rice is what you break out and put some soy sauce on at 3am when you need a snack and it's the only leftover from the meal lol.
I don't eat their beef.I only get mushroom chicken or black pepper chicken.Only 1/2 white rice with 1/2 super greens as sides.And an egg roll every now and then
if i hadnt much chicken dishes/teriyaki related during the week, would get teriyaki chicken on saturday night chinese dinner, if money wasnt an option, would get the shanghai beef, they once made a fresh batch with just the beef/onions, i never eat the mushrooms, green stuff, pepper, lately been eating too much beef/chicken during the week so decided to try their honey walnut shrimp, i like they get rid the tail so i just eat the shrimp whole, my brother told me dont get fried rice if you had to choose a side he says always got with chow mein. They used to offer hot and sour soup like some other chinese fast places in my area but dont anymore, they got rid of black pepper chicken few yrs ago before the the pandemic, so another local one is where go for it.
Panda Express in my area is not good at all. I tried it twice and both times it was really bad. Independent restaurants are so much better. My mom moved to Florida and she only likes one place near where she lives. I had it when I visited and it was ok but not as good as the places I've been to in New England. If you ever visit Massachusetts, check out The Kowloon, Dumpling Daughter, and other non-chain places. Really good.
I cant tolerate Spicy 🌶 anything, so I stick to Honey 🍯 Walnut Shrimps 🍤 and the Noodles 🍜 and the Veggie Fried Rice 🍚 too. And my Drink of choice is Orange 🍊 Soda 🥤.
The amount of slander about crab Rangoon or cream cheese wantons w/e you wanna call em.... judge not by authenticity but by taste...eat it with sweet chili sauce and stop judging guaranteed you like it
Never been to a Panda Express, can't see myself ever going either. Every time somebody at works gets it for lunch, wow... shock and surprise, it's always the orange chicken.
