I really think these are 🔥🔥🔥 I don’t care about the resale value I buy my shoes to wear and I definitely don’t listen to all the haters that can only say the colour way is off. People are changing a shoe that was made to be different even though there are so many versions of the OG colour way or the bred 1’s?!?!? 90% of Jordan 1 highs will go up in value. Look back at yin and yangs, sails, game royals, shadows. In this case the shoe is a good looking shoe. That means give it 2 years and people will casually be paying upwards of 300+ for this shoe.

I think these will be like the bloodline’s in terms of value they were sitting for awhile but now are at $280+ depending on the size and I think that’s a pretty good value for this shoe

I’ve already customized one of Electro Orange Mids so this will definitely be another custom project. I copped 3 pairs. One will be an original, one will be customized, and one will be for a resale down the road.
@@ravan85 I basically added more black hits to it. Actually I just realized - it’s the metallic orange mid. I painted the Nike swoosh black and swapped out the laces to black.
It’s a great shoe no doubt but if I need to wear a red/white sneaker for an outfit I would rather wear the Chicagos or black toes. For me it’s best to save the money to buy more vintage tees or pants for more outfits. Buying the same color shoes of the same silhouette would be kind of pointless.

So like you I go and buy some stone island stuff to match my current shoes. I have jordan 1 only and the best models imo of each colour way, sb1.0 blue toe union obsidian 1, unc, OG travis high, both frag travis and few others. Told my gf I need 3 last pairs then I am done with buying kicks, I need military green cw so waiting on the clay green, a yellow pair (really want nfr yellow but need a good price) and another black pair the nfr varsity red (crazy leather). Then I am done with my Sean air max and habibi I have enough for the next 10-15 years. And J1 definitely « last forever »

The way I see customizing shoes into existing limited/expensive colorways is like upbadging a car. Ecoboost mustang with GT emblems. Trying to pass off their 20k mustang as something more valuable isn't my cup of tea.

I want to see someone coffee dye the sole. the reason it looks off is mainly because the swoosh is small compared to the travis one so it looks empty in the front. they also should've made the swoosh black

Never felt these even when they were originally released (yes, I'm old). The look, form and function get low marks. Past the the AJ1 the AJ improves dramatically.

I would do a all royal blue Air Jordan 1 with the toe box and the swoosh yellow and the bottom the outsole I would do a yellow and then whole midsole would be blue

They’re definitely a slept on shoe. On both StockX and Goat they’re currently below retail but of course with extra fees they come to about $200.
