UPDATE - In regards to the app not working on the scooter, I reached out to Hovsco and the company did inform me that an app is not needed for the electric scooter since there is no speed unlocking required. The app is intended for the larger ebikes such as the HovAlpha and HovBeta, etc. They are working on updating the manual and removing the QR code from future shipments.
