Goes to show that people believe in whatever they want to believe in. The guy knew about the Carbonaro effect, he could even see he was wearing a wig. But because he wanted to believe that the canotopia existed, somehow none of the obvious tells registered in his head.
The Carbonaro was really stunned that FINALLY found someone who knew him! He couldn't believe in his ears to the point asking twice (maybe thrice)...Priceless
He doesn’t need to . He’s already selling us his product and he’s making his money the right way with his tricks and no strings attached. What did I just say ? LOL
I remember couple years back when my brother told me about this show. It's only on UA-cam here in Europe that I know of but I got addicted instantly and still think it's the most creative magic show ever.
Dude, this guy could have been THE ultimate charlatan. Not only does he have the slight of hand but he’s so socially adaptable. Good thing he took the high road and went with magic.
Carbonaro really should film the sleight of hand switch moments more often. The viewers know that he does this, but it's all edited out for some reason. It would add to the show greatly, since viewers also would go 'haha! that unsuspected victim didn't see the switch!'
Just for Laughs would always show the workings of the trick before starting, but they almost always used large contraptions rather than sleight of hand.
He's so good at what he does, I'm not even sure the general audience would catch his sleight of hand. And he can't slow it down just for the viewers because it's imperative that the victim doesn't see it.
The best joke would be to not explain it, and sell him one for $12 and send him home with a jar of cranberry and somehow watch him explain it to his family while sounding nuts. 😂
This was the best Reveal Reaction ever. How the hell they throw this priceless recordings in the bin (ok, they didn't because I'm watching this). If the idea is to stretch material to make other episodes, it should exist a whole new season (not the Inside one) with each previous episodes shown in the exact order BUT we would see just the reveal. It could be called: The Carbonaro Effect - Sorry, but we forgot to show you this.

I love him! They never show all the angles. On this one, I'm betting he is swapping cans under the counter but the video doesnt show him lower the can so it makes it look like he is pulling all of that out of the same can. I wish we got to see what the "victim" gets to see.
@@rad5207 wrong. @@rad5207 just watched it. Several ways that could've been done. My best bet is that they simply had some sort of distraction. For instance, someone walking in between them, maybe a group of people even. Maybe the dog's trained to follow side by side to one of the people. Maybe Michael got the guy to look away for a moment. @@rad5207 - There is nothing to your claim. What do you mean "each cut"? There's only one cut, where the switch happens, and there could easily have been minutes passed. There was nothing about their body position of movement to show it was less than a second. In fact, his finger position on the phone is slightly different before and after the cut. It's all about slight of hand and distraction. For example having a couple of people passing by, distracting the victim, one asking him something, while the other swaps the dog. Doesn't take more than a seconds. It really is that easy and it's how it's done. Check out the candid camera show Just For Laughs.
