I agree...maybe worn with a scarf to guard against a potential wardrobe malfunction? But I dont blame Sierra for donating it, if I'm constantly worrying about buttons, I'm uncomfortable all day.

Lol when your mom said the outfit was “interesting” I died 😂😂. Oh but I love that boxy jacket it kind of reminds me of the 90s male jackets which I’ve been into bc of watching Friends.
She just wore the dress, there was no styling involved. There is so much you could do with it to make it more fun! Add little white sneakers and a tank underneath and it's more casual. Add a pullover sweater and a different belt and use it as a skirt. Unbutton it and wear it over leggings and a tee. Come On!
Megan Hansen didn’t she say it was her style? It makes sense if she wants to try and see if it fits into her closet. It would be cool to see her maybe in the future style something in multiple ways.
Wow, her life has changed so much in the last two years. Imagine if current Sierra could come tell this sierra about her new house, and her curly hair, and her BABY!
You should make a poshmark!!! I am sure myself and other mid size girls would love it! You could alwyas take the money and donate to a charity if it makes you feel weird!

I SELL BRAS!!!! Crash course on knowing if bras fit right: the cup is neither gapping nor squeezing you. The center gore (the little piece of fabric between the two cups on the front) is laying flat against you chest. The wires are sitting flat against your ribs. The wings (the back part of the bra that has the hooks) are parallel with the ground. The straps are neither falling off nor squeezing you. If they hit all of those points its a perfect bra. How you measure yourself: take a tape measure to right below your busy and measure the circumference. If the number you get is an even number, add 4 inches. If it is an odd number, add 5. What you do is you go up in one measurement and down in another. For example, if my true size has me squeezing out of my 32D cup just a little bit, i would go to a size 30 DD because it will fit me a bit better. When in doubt, find someone to help you. I work at aerie and were super well trained at this stuff. Love the navy blue dress on you!!! So flattering! Quick style tip on the floral dress! crop jackets that come just above the hips will look perfect with fit and flare dresses.
That second dress looks so good on you!!!I think you generally look better in dresses than pants/ jeans. And I like the first outfit without the jacket too :p
That polka dot skirt is classic!glad you’re keeping it. Try styling it with a cute white top and a red lip and a little bow in your hair I think you’ll look amazing xx
Well, "Boxy Jackets" and coats are making a comback along with a lot of other 80's yuppie-professionel-bosslike style. You are so on point for this fall and 2020!
Yup, I agreed with her mom on the boxy. She would look much better in one that is tailored in the waist to begin with. And because she's not that tall shorter, cropped jackets - or max hip length - looks always better. If she wants to keep wearing it, styling it with a belt and wearing a heel might make a positive difference.
maybe it’s just personal preference but I thought the boxy look was cool. Idk I’m kind of into fashion that brings a masculine element to a feminine outfit. It also had like a “workplace casual” vibe which I thought was fitting for her style
Yes and I think she should wear the last dress with a denim jacket and white adidas or something like that. The brown booties was not a fit for me with this dress!
A cropped denim jacket though! She keeps putting the longer one she has over pieces where the waist is higher/defined and completely ruining the line of her body
I loved the boxy jacket, personally. Maybe not the most flattering, but I love the look and style of it. Not everything has to be “flattering” all the time!
Great video! Kind of sad you gave up the dress fro day two. It was a bit mature, but you looked so fabulous in it! I need that polka dot skirt in my life.
GIRL. That navy dress and the polka dot skirt both look AMAZING on you! But those brown flats gotta go 😂 and I wasn't a fan on the boxy jacket. Just not my style.
To more "casual down" the skirt.. Try an off shoulder top or a white tee.. Or a shirt with alil graphic on it.. Or a spaghetti bodysuit.. I'm very glad you kept the skiry
I wear midi skirts most days bc even though it’s a bit extra for just sitting on my computer during uni work, it’s super comfortable and makes me feel good
Yes! So inspired to do this with my own closet and donate those ones that I just can’t get behind anymore. Could you do a video walking us through the clothes you have normally on the clothing rack in your filming setup? Maybe on the vlog? I can’t stop eyeing the blue dress you keep back there on the far left!
The striped shirt would pair well with just about any black A line skirt you already own. If you had kept the navy dress I would have suggested wearing it open/unbuttoned as a duster over jeans & a tee or unbuttoning the very top buttons & wearing a white or colorful cami underneath. That's often my solution to button down shirts that gape through the bust, I simply unbutton them part way & wear a matching cami.
Hey Sierra , just letting you know that you inspired me (a plus sized gal ) to finally go shopping for jeans with your shopping videos. I spent the time and invested in myself and found myself some jeans that fit my body and shut up the voices in my head that always tell me that my body is broken , and just kept looking until I found clothing that was made properly for my body. I haven't been able to do that EVER. And I'm 29 years old. So thank you. ❤
@@MrsGMBG Honestly half way into the video and I'm already annoyed by her mentioning twice how something is 'too mature' for her and calling it something more for ' a mom' etc. Like dressing nice and mature means you have to be a mom to do so and also moms don't have anything other to do then be bussy with kids and be seriouse the whole time?! I'm 25 and I really think she could stop almost shaming people like this. She doesn't think of herself as a mature grown up, fine, we get it. But she clearly has NO idea what mature means nor what mature people (aka those moms she keeps mentioning...) do. She is right though; she really isn't mature enough to wear a mature look.
Sierra, since I started watching your videos I feel like I have changed my mind about my body, i used to put me down every time I saw myself on the mirror, but now I love my body as it is, I don’t really care what society thinks how I should look and I take care of myself more often than before, thank you for being that support I need it, I’ll keep growing with you and every video. You’re an inspiration 💕
That Bollie dress is insane! So good! You could make it feel 'younger' by adding fun accessories. A pop of color shoe would be amazing. Also, it would be great to see you branch out from high-waisted everything and black booties.
Same with the skirt, you need to pair it with a fun color in the top, and fun accessories. You said the skirt makes you feel mature, but the whole outfit is kind of blah.
I LOVE both the jackets in that first look. Totally gave me badass businesswoman by day and rockstar by night vibes! Also I audibly GASPED when I saw that blue button dress, I need it in my life! (It looked AMAZING on you btw!)
Tip from another busty lady whose buttons pull always: you can add a little invisible snap button in between the buttons of the piece to keep it nice and flat! I think that navy dress would be paired with some more modern/bright accessories to tone down the "journalist" aspect.
Try the polka dot skirt with a black sleeveless body suit and black flat sandals or wedge heels. It'll look more like a dress which is more flattering for petite fuller figures....doesn't cut you in half. The long sleeve jersey is too heavy for the flow of the skirt. And try Glide runner's balm for summer chub rub...
This is so inspirational 🙏🏻! Everybody should do this once in a while. Buy less and shop in your closet 🙌🏻 it’s better for the environment and saves also money 😊 I like most of the outfits very much! Greetings from a big fan from Germany 🖤
I like the first outfit without the jacket BUT I am IN LOVE with the jacket in general. I personally would just style it differently. You look great in everything though! Love it.
I love you!!! I'm new, but you've already helped me sooo much. Mommy of 3, but I'm 26 and don't know how to embrace my youth through clothing without looking like I'm trying too hard, but I also don't want to look frumpy. Keep up the good work❤️ I'm taking notes
I'm 22 with 2 kiddos and I completely understand exactly what your talking about. I never know how to dress without looking slumpy or looking more "mature" or older than I actually am. I'm always in jeans and hoodies with the hair in a mom bun. It's difficult for me to find clothes thats cute and trendy without looking "older".
@@brewise5341 That's my issue too. I have a couple trends I can "pull off" but for the most part I feel dumb trying. I don't know what I'm doing, or how to execute the ideas/trends in my size without it being obvious that I'm trying too hard.
no hate but does anyone else hate when people pair ankle boots with shorts/skirts/dresses. Idk man I feel like I need some tights and socks to pull it off
Ok, love the blue dress! A white peasant top with the skirt, or that blue tank you wore in the last one with a white shrug. I thought the white flowery dress was so young and fun, oh my goodness, you are so precious!! A wtite cami or sport bra under that dress and then a safety pin to keep it closed. Keep all those. The pink shirt could go.
That flower dress is sooo cute! You can make that polka dot skirt younger by mixing it up with a bright colored top or a more cut out t-shirt like your friend was wearing on the same day.
Ever since Sarah Hawkinson did this, I’ve been loving these types of videos so much! Really inspiring me to go back and look at the clothes I already own before buying new ones
I want that blue button down dress so freaking bad! It's exactly my style, and color. I could see myself wearing that to work constantly!!! Ugh and that skirt!!! I am weak 😭
Hi Seirra, I loved the fact you paired the outfits with the denim jacket you owned but I really think you should buy a denim jacket that hits at your natural waist it would look stunning on you! x
Also with issues like the flower dress (even though you didnt keep it, but for the future of that happens again) sewing it with 2 little stitches can fix that! Right where it's supposed to actually cross over. I've done this to countless dresses that expect larger sizes to be super busty when I have no boobs and all booty
Hate when I like an outfit and my mom doesn’t 😂😭makes me over think the whole outfit

I need a Skylar in my life.
You looked GORGEOUS!!!!!!!! In that blue dress
That Blue bodycon button down dress 😍. You looked AMAZING in it!! Where did you get it?
I would love to get one like it!
I like the first outfit without the jacket BUT I am IN LOVE with the jacket in general. I personally would just style it differently. You look great in everything though! Love it.
I loved the jacket your mom thought was interesting lol. I loved the whole outfit but I'll definitely be looking for a similar jacket for myself
Some how I randomly stumbled upon your channel and I love your videos!! I've been sort of binge watching hahaha
Idk man I feel like I need some tights and socks to pull it off
I hate ankle boots/booties with skirts/dresses and shorts
chloe crawley i hate it as well. I feel like it makes me look shorter and stockier.
It works when you’ve got long skinny legs lol
I think ankle boots go with everything... they are also basically the only thing i wear
Ankle boots w heels are always cute, no heels it depends
I love the jacket with the first outfit! So sophisticated and like..."adult-y" LOL
Love u dear😍😍😍so much positivity in ur body language👌😍😍love from india😍
Love the jacket. The outfit works with or without it, but I love the extra dimension to the look when he jacket is on.
when her mom said, "interesting." Best part of the whole video
I loved the white dress with the colorful floral print!! Looks extremely flattering on you
I’m a teacher and thought that I would a skirt like that to wear to work, and then you said the thing about liking it if you were a teacher
That flower dress is sooo cute! You can make that polka dot skirt younger by mixing it up with a bright colored top or a more cut out t-shirt like your friend was wearing on the same day.
Honestly I need to do this cause I have so many clothes I NEVER wear 😭😭😩
Ever since Sarah Hawkinson did this, I’ve been loving these types of videos so much! Really inspiring me to go back and look at the clothes I already own before buying new ones
I love the jacket in the first outfit ;) sometimes, SOMETIMES moms don't know best ;)
THAT BLUE DRESS IS EVERYTHING
2) Should have kept the blue button up dress. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Amber Smith Well... she didn’t
I loveeedd the big jacket on the first outfit. So sophisticated and clean looking .
I want that blue button down dress so freaking bad! It's exactly my style, and color. I could see myself wearing that to work constantly!!! Ugh and that skirt!!! I am weak 😭
Hi Seirra, I loved the fact you paired the outfits with the denim jacket you owned but I really think you should buy a denim jacket that hits at your natural waist it would look stunning on you! x
Seirra wear the polka skirt with a white graphic tee... Or a tank n denim jacket to dress it down
Midi skirts are also soooooooo cute with crop tops!
Also with issues like the flower dress (even though you didnt keep it, but for the future of that happens again) sewing it with 2 little stitches can fix that! Right where it's supposed to actually cross over. I've done this to countless dresses that expect larger sizes to be super busty when I have no boobs and all booty
