I watched almost 20hrs of QGIS tutorials but nothing could give me the start that your tutorial gave...very well done. this is a class room quality for people like me.
This is fabulous. You explain so clearly and at the perfect speed. And because the video is so beautifully divided into sections, I was able to just watch the 10-15 minutes that I needed and get on with my project. Thank you!!
I have just started learning QGIS and I find this tutorial EXCELLENT!! very well explained and I have to even pause the video at the middle to not forget that I wanted to write this review. Looking forward to watching all of them!! Thank you very much for this video!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge, I'm working in ArcGIS for last 5 years, but wanna check with open sources due to some reasons, had searched in UA-cam to start with basics of QGIS, I found this master piece. Gonna follow all your videos to learn more. Thanks a lot

Wow!! Absolutely beginner and absolutely perfect. Thanks you so much. Best tutorial on anything I have seen. The only suggestion I would make is to colour your cursor and make it tiny bit bigger so it is easier to follow where you are going to various items. Thank you!
Thank you for this excellent introduction! It was very clear and helped me a lot. In the future, you might say "up here" or "On the left" when you're pointing out tools. "Over here" could be anywhere and I had to rewind a couple of times to see where the tool was. Overall, though, excellent job!
having my BSC in Geography makes me love QGIS with other realted courses such as Map and air photo interpretation quantitative methods in Geography and GIS as a whole. i would love to do my maters in GIS to gained more experience and do more mapping as a carreer in the near future. thanks for the tutorial..
Another nice video, I can easily grasp the content. first time I watch your video is the interpolation raster. no wonder, I found another good videos. Keep it up 🔥🔥🔥
Many thanks for uploading this! I've used AutoCAD and lot's of other programs before. I've just glanced at QGIS a while ago and it was very overwhelming. Your introduction made it easy to understand. I wish when I was in school learning AutoCAD, I was able to record what the teacher was saying and what was on the projector screen as the teacher was explaining, so then I could pause and rewind while trying to follow along with the example project. I'm sure Google can answer my questions, but maybe you have a video of it.
Good introduction. I am considering moving over from ArcMaps, and this makes clear how to do similar things to what I already know in ArcMaps. I will probably use it to train some people new to GIS.
Thank you so much. This was really helpful. I've been finding an alternative for ArcGIS which is free and qgis seems like its the best alternative. I might even like it even more than ArcGIS considering the UI, speed and ease of application. Raster geo-processing seems very polished.
I wonder why he said it this weird way... Also can't get it if he's a native English speaker or not. Most of the time he speaks like one, but there are many words that he pronounces really odd...
i have not watch your video yet, but from the positive comments below u r deserved to get more subscribe...allow me to share your video with my students and i will ask them to subscribe your channel...i am new to QGIS and my intend is to publish map from qgis to website..wish me luck..lol
This is an absolutely amazing tutorial! I learnt a lot in this session, all the points are clearly explained! Thank you so much! A quick question: If you have coordinates in .csv that you want to superimpose on your map and want them to bear specific colours based on the location, how would you do that?
You could add the .csv file as a layer, by going to 'Layer' in the menu bar > 'Add Layer' > 'Add Delimited Text Layer' > Navigate to where you have stored your .csv file and > Add. You will see the .csv layer appear, assuming it has latitude-longitude column fields in the original table. You may start editing the colors by choosing the layer > Properties > Symbology
