Not only do I want US to call Tigerheart Tiger-Heart-star,
I want the actual CHARACTERS to recognize this naming problem and call him Tiger-Heart-Star.
YES
YES
Catnip Soda that would make sense as well. Considering the past.
I thought it would be simplest to just call him Junior.
lionblaze99 do you still call someone Junior, even if it skips a generation because the only characters that I know that has Junior in their names, had their father/mother with the same name. And yes I saw a show that someone was named after the mother and had Junior in their name.
No, no, you see, Tigerstar 2 is Bramblestar, Tigerstar II is Trigerheart! It's not confusing at all :^)
XD
Tigerstar is Tigerstar Vol. 1, Bramblestar is Tigerstar Vol. 2, and Tigerheart is Tigerstar Vol. 3
Yes, yes, we all just LOVE "Trigerheatt" -_-
Brambleclaw is Tigerstar teenage edition, Hawkfrost is Tigerstar blue edition and Tigerheart is Tigerstar arrogant edition.
Moonkitti and we have another Tigre clone.
I'm personally not so fond of the whole Shadowkit thing because I am quiet tired of Firestar/Tigerstar kin being special, and also that it is the only male of the litter again. The females of the Tigerstar lineage never get spotlight while they are usually the more interesting ones. I would have preferred it if Blaze had gotten the prophecies after Spire and that he may become Puddleshine's apprentice since he seemed more fit from what we learned about him.
I mean, yes, on one hand I'd like to see other characters be more special and I'd DEFINITELY love to see more main female leads, but that also doesn't take away my enjoyment of Shadowkit.
The females also never seem to LOOK like Tigerstar either (except sort-of for Mothwing since she is a tabby like her father) and genetics don’t really count here considering all the crazy kits that who look nothing like their parents.
Genetics don't have to matter. It's a fantasy story. If genetics mattered all the cats would look the same at this point.
Plus, Lightkit is a Tigerstar clone and is a girl.
TennelleFlowers i know im super excited about the possiblity of her being a lead tiger clone girl😀maybe shadokits oppisite
Zoom Nyoom also doesn’t quite make sense hence male off spring for a cat is genetically forced to look like the mother.
tigerheart will just be "tigerstar: the good version"
No, he's Tigerstar #5 XD
@@catlady307 tru dat lol
No he’s not the good version
There’s never been and probably never will be a good version
Especially bc they are named after a CERIAL KILLER
Majority of the fandom- “This is a dumpster-fire”
Me- “OMG I LOVE THIS, THIS IS OFFICIALLY MY FAVORITE WARRIORS BOOK”
Idek
tigerheart's shadow made me anger
why
Where the heck is our '(Better) Catcast w/Tom, Selina and Moonkitti' 2 coming out?
I'm actually genuinely happy you guys ACTUALLY talked about warriors
SPIRE IS BASICALLY MY FAVORITE CHARACTER NOW
Alright alright I really need to read the new series
I read every super edition out so far.
Ok. I’m only on the last book in the third series and I’ve heard that dovewing and bumble stripe were mates.. and I hear about this and I’m like
WHAT HAPPENeD TO MY BUMBLEBEE!!!!!!!!!’ “Criessssss”. Someone tell me
I HEARD THE ZELDA MUSIC! YEEEEESSSSS!
Puddleshine fucking cheated the system.
Give me a damn bodger ride, tigerheart
Sasha
You need to address Tigerstar II by his full title:
Tigerstar, Leader of ShadowClan, the Second in His Name, Foretold Sun that Lengthens the Darkness, Fighter of the Dark Forest and Honorary Member of the Guardians
i think tigerstar should be called ''Tigerstar cat who stopped shadowclan from flying into the sun bye leaving because hes someones son'' i think hes very observent by figuring out that he is soneones son
My biggest disappointment of the book is that Fuzzball was not brought back to Shadowclan to be a warrior
FIGHT.
Also I'm glad you brought up the thing about him shoving his way of life on them. That bugged me too, I was hoping he'd learn something from that (besides the clear 'I'm meant to be with my clan' lesson) but nah. Just Clan life right. Everyone else WRONG. Yell at your kits for using terms for things literally everyone around them use.
Fuzzball is easily one of the best things about this book. Tigerheart even said he'd make a good warrior.
Fuzzball was hilarious and so gosh-damn loveable
YES
Tusofsky Damn Tigerheart and his colonialism (¬_¬)
Tusofsky I LOVE HIM
I want loving grandma tawnypelt to be a thing.
YES!
YES YES PLEASE THEY KILLED OFF ROWANSTAR AND DAWNPELT FLAMETAIL AND Poor poor Spiresight (( I liked him he reminded of Goosefeather )) If this does not happen I will go crazy
TennelleFlowers yep, I swear to *g o d* if he makes dovewing deputy i will burn the book
Diana Dino Gaming! Jesus dawnpelt died horribly never thought they would kill a cat by being forcefully drowned

OOOO it drives me crazy that Tigerheart literally got everything he ever wanted in this super edition lol. Even Dovewing just joins ShadowClan without a fight.
Yea true
am i the only one who thinks tigerheart and dovewing are perfect for each other
im a sucker for forbidden romance i loved winterwatcher wings of fire until my dreams were shattered into a million tiny peices and my heart was broken bye darkness of dragons i also loved crowfeather and leafpool
Tigers a little b****
WAIT DOVEY JOINS SHADOWCLAN
*Celebrates*
Just saying, Dovewing is kinda better off in Shadowclan.
I'm sorry, but the whole Bumblestripe×Dovewing thing was so forced and uncomfortable to read from start to end.

Tigerstar 3 (Hawkfrost)
Tigerstar 4 (Tigerheartstar)
Tigerstar 5 (Strikestone)
Tigerstar 6 (Shadowkit)

No name The Warrior
One of Dawnclouds kits. TBH he looks more like Hawkfrost.
Isn't Lightkit a Tigerstar clone and not Shadowkit? She's a brown tabby.
J D Oh yeah XD oops
TheArtistThatDoesArt Sometimes Nah, Tigerstar 6 is Lightkit
The Erin's really should have thought about it properly. You can't just give any brown, fluffy tabby the prefix 'Tiger'. It's like giving a ginger cat the prefix 'fire' and giving them the same suffix.
Wakaran
I think Tawnypelt named him tigerheart because she wanted him to represent Tigerclaw as the good and LOYAL cat Tigerclaw could have been
IllusionDelusion exactly and just cuz one tiger was evil doesn’t mean the name should never be used. Look at the serial killers with common names. Should those names never be used again cuz it belong to a serial killer? And it about time the cats stop going oh tiger...bet he turn out evil like his grandpa. Evil tigerstar is dead. Like dead dead. Stop looking at the past and let tigerheart lead shadowclan to a good future. It about time shadowclan get a good strong leader.
Woofs an Whiskers true but just cuz it was done once doesn’t mean for them to never do that storyline again. They did firestar and his kin destined for greatness throughout nearly all the series. Besides tigerstar is a different character. He not worry about his family blood and more worried about his clan. In fact in this book, he had to think if it was his fault that his father can’t be strong and lead the clan. If he was the shadow blocking the sun. He has self doubts, but none was about if others thought of him as evil cuz they moved on from that. He even had to face his own father sometimes. The only mention of him becoming evil is from thunderclan, which makes sense as the scars still ran deep. Blackstar was kinda strong except that one time he lost faith in starclan and let a complete stranger to tell them what to do. And he lost it after the huge battle. Which is to be expected cuz he was the oldest cat.
They gave the ginger cat Firestar the prefix Fire... they probably don't really caaareee.....
No no no, see, they're giving that name to black cats now too.
Tennelle, I don't know if you know this yet but it's been confirmed by Kate Cary on her blog that Crowfeather will be getting a Super Edition that comes out in September 2018 called Crowfeather's Trial.
Yeees! I heard! I'm EXCITE

Olivia Drumm True
Olivia Drumm just reverse the situation and you have bluefur and oakheart
or the other way around with bluestar's kits.
you should join the erins
Great video as always!
I agree with the Guardian cats situation. While I expected it to be "Tigerheart was right and everybody should live like a Warrior" thing, I silently hoped Fog wouldn't actually be a mean cat but just tried to live with the whole fox situation. It seems like every time Clan cats meet other groups of cats, their instant thought process is "THESE GUYS LIVE DIFFERENT THAN US??? WE HAVE TO CHANGE THAT, CLEARLY LIVING LIKE A WARRIOR IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO!!!" and when Dovewing just went along with it and told Tigerheart to stop trying to change the Guardian cats, I was relieved. But of course Tigerheart had to get his way in the end...
Also I'm upset he didn't get to meet Fuzzball again. He should've gone to say hello and Fuzzball should've been excited to see so many new cats.
ALSO a thing nobody seems to talk about... Spire said they shouldn't walk on the train tracks anymore because somebody would die in vain. But why couldn't have they just walked beside the tracks? Whenever they were following the tracks, I just kept thinking "why not walk NEXT TO the track and now on them???" because there clearly was space since they were able to dodge the trains. So?? Why???
Tessu Draws plot twist, the guardian cats went back to normal right after Tigerheart left. They lied to his face
DUDE. OKAY. YEAH. The train track thing was bugging me too. Like...guys...there's an obvious solution here. >_< But since the book made up an excuse for them to leave the track due to Spire's visions, I forgot about it.
I haven't read a book yet but the one thing that's always bothered me about Warriors is how they always feel the need to "convert" other cats into their way of life. Which seems to be the case here too.
But especially with kittypets. They look down on them and the Erin's always write them as idiots or only half-competent cats who need training, but for God's sake there's so many pet cats out there raised so differently there's got to be some competent and smart cats out there besides just smart but weak or strong but dumb and aggressive and just plain stupid. xP
they didnt do the smart thing and walk beside the track then how would Erin hunter make there journey back interesting yup walking on train tracks only way to go cause aperently there was an insanely small amount of trains going by
kuku88 Duuude agreed. I'm gonna be honest, the kittypets that *do* convert just feel... Low-key bratty/haughty, Millie being the perfect example, followed by Sasha and probably some Skyclan cats.
I'm glad Firestar, and now Stormcloud, aren't like that but it's like come on Erins... Stop adding kittypets, almost all of them are annoying.
I didn't really hate it either. The only part that really bothered me a whole lot was how OOC Dovewing and Ivypool were. They portayed Ivypool and antagonistic and cruel, without even the slightest care towards her sister, and Dovewing seemed very manipulative- which is weird because Kate just recently said that she wanted people to LIKE her. but aside from that, I liked that the book let us explore new places like cities and a church, see a whole new group of cats and how they live, and introduced three adorable new characters (Lightkit is the....LIGHT....of my life...heh). I also loved Tigerheart/star's leadership story, it was something new we hadn't seen before (unless you count Windstar, but she wasn't quite dead when she got her lives- Tigerheart was) and it was really interesting. It also made me like Tigerheart a LITTLE bit more. He's still not my favourite, but I gained some respect for him during the book's second half.
It makes sense that Ivypool would be antagonistic in this book, since it's from Tigerheart's pov. And I've seen a lot of people call Dovewing manipulative in this book, but I honestly don't read it that way? Dovewing told Tigerheart that she was going, asked him to go with but told him she'd leave without him, and when he didn't show, she left. Then when Tigerheart shows up later, she's very forgiving and grateful that he did end up coming anyway.
And agreed! I enjoyed Tigerheart's leader story as well! It was a pretty cool way to end the book!
i think ivypool felt that tigerheart is taking her sister away from her and the fact that tbey are seeing each other made her think her sister is breaking the code. (i personally think shes just jealous) ivypool will be even more mad when she finds out about dovewing staying in shadowclan and has kits with tigerheart.
Plus ivypool never liked them together. She wasn’t ooc at all. I’m rereading omen of the stars and she is the same like in tigerheart shadow. She don’t like tigerheart at all and want them to stop seeing each other despite dovewing loving him. She just doesn’t understand til she gets with fernsong.
I actually enjoyed reading about Tigerheart learning to be a leader in this book. I noticed a subtle thing: a fight over a rabbit. He was right about SkyClan, but fought over a rabbit with Fog. I think it was an interesting parallel. This should probably be two books of the vision of shadows arc, but it couldn't, so maybe that's why it felt rushed. I never cared much for Tigerheart and TigerXDove but i want to see how others will react to that. I can't wait to see more about Blaze too, and Spiresight (maybe showing up for Shadowkit sometime). I bet Shadowkit's PoV will appear in AVoS and i can't wait.
Great video, btw! There were a lot of things i didn't notice. Let's call Tigerheart "Shady Tigerstar"!! how about it? lol
YAY! Someone who actually doesn't hate the book! I felt that, for the majority of the time, I was one of the limited people in the fandom in which actually enjoyed this book! Honestly, even though I do kind of wish Tigerheart wouldn't keep trying to change the Guardian Cats' way of life. There were a few things in this book that made it kind of awkward, in a sense, and really could have been changed, but I really enjoyed the majority of everything else, and frankly I consider it to be on the better end of Warriors' Super Additions.
Apparently everyone seems to be really mad at Dovewing, or the Erins' in this case, about going to ShadowClan to be with Tiger-heart-star and their daughters and son. I actually really liked this segment of the book, and despite the fact I did feel kind of weird about it since Dovewing's family, or the cats she's supposed to care deeply for, *cough* Ivypool, are in ThunderClan and the transition felt kind of strange since this would NOT be a light decision, I, for the most part found it to be great. I mean, holy heck have people read the alliances for ThunderClan lately? That Clan is overflowing with cats, less so then lately but yeah...
In warriors alone, ThunderClan currently has 28 cats, not including Dovewing, and they'd have 30 if it weren't for Blossomfall and Cinderheart being queens currently, and soon 31 when Twigpaw receives her warrior name.
Now, 28 may not sound like a lot, yet when you read the other Clans' quantity of warriors... (not including deputies and leaders)
WindClan only has 12, RiverClan has 15 (*Not including Beetlewhisker since he's SUPPOSED to be dead*) SkyClan literally has 9, and at the beginning of *Tigerheart's Shadow*, ShadowClan merely has 6 warriors!
Adding all that together, the four other Clans' approximate amount of warriors is forty two ... 42 warriors unevenly split between four Clans...
^^^TRUTH.
Oh man yeah, I honestly wished this book had more Dovewing in it, or even had made Dovewing and Tigerheart the pov's. I just don't feel like we know what she's thinking about all of this and it would have helped make her transition to ShadowClan Queen more believable. I would have also taken more time for Tigerheart and Dovewing to JUST TALK. There's so many times where they start having important conversations, but then get cut off before anything gets established or they can start telling each other how they feel, and then they never go back to their conversation and that drives me mad. Erins like to avoid writing dialogue like the plague, unfortunately. lol
But yes! I think it's totally necessary for Dovewing to move to ShadowClan. Hopefully more of ThunderClan gets flushed soon as well, and they don't have to all die, but at least moving them around to different clans would help. The allegiances are out of control.
That's a really good point. Maybe a few POV chapters with Dovewing could have really given her side of the story a bit more detail and we could see how she's handling all the change in her life like Tigerheart. That note you made about how the Erins' avoid writing dialogue for the sake of producing drama- like the plague - (lmao) is crazy! I understand but I'd appreciate a few pages of just TALKING in which would probably make the majority of the readers more invested.
Something the original story did really well was giving bits of characterizations relationships and stories to minor characters such as the dynamic between Brindleface and Cloudtail. Other cats such as Frostfur, Speckletail, Mousefur, Dustpelt, Brackenfur, Thornclaw and Brightheart receive this treatment, too.
The next two arcs did this relatively well but the Original Arc did the best job at this.
I totally agree, frankly I don't think it's all that necessary to kill everyone in ThunderClan, but they are the only Clan that didn't actually suffer all that much from Darktail's reign, aside from overpopulation. Maybe the Erins' are building up some kind of massacre of a few ThunderClan cats? Some of them probably need to die, but I'd love to give those new characters some story and further traits as we've only had it sprinkled here and there.
And oh my god Tennelle Flowers replied and liked my comment. My dream came true :O
That's probably not true because they don't always mention all the cats. Back in into the wild I thought tallstar was the only wondckan cat. I may not be right but I like to think that all the clan have around 30
they literally list all the cats at the beginning of the books
-ˋˏ Teacups ˎˊ- they used to only list named characters in the allegiances section, but now they start naming all of the cats.
Aaaa you used my art! That was really nice of you, thank you. But in all seriousness you brought up some really good points and you definitely make more sense than these 10 years olds who stopped reading it when they got bored and just say they hate it. Keep it up! And I love your way of thinking about these books
It seems a lot of people are quick to hate this book, and while it does have it's slows, it has some really, really great parts. Rowanstar offering to stop down ("A Warrior fights for his Leader, a Leader fights for his clan" ? THAT'S A GOOD LINE MMMHMM YUM), Tigerheart's growth as a leader type, Spiresight and Blaze, the Guardians, Dove and Tiger's kits, the cool 9 lives ceremony, Dove trying to keep Tigerheart alive, Shadowkit...it was a good book! :)
TennelleFlowers it was really great! I really enjoyed it and I loved how you touched on the "Tigerheart stay awake" thing because it was really cute and we've never really had a scene like that- not in a while at least. As well as everyone, I expected this book to be a sob story about Tigerheart and Dovewing, but it turned out to be so much more, and it actually really surprised me in that nature. Definitely, as you said, a good read.
When I read the book, I thought the character's actions were both hilarious and appalling - like the fact that Tigerheart wanted to impose the warrior lifestyle upon the Guardian cats. They have their own way of living and it's been fine that way before, not all cats are meant to live with the warriors' lifestyle, like Bluestar says in Into the Wild or Fire and Ice, can't really remember. Well, you already addressed that issue. But about Tigerheart's interpretation of the sun prophecy thing... StarClan does puns now? XD Oh, and also, I found it weird that the kittypets, aka the cats that live with humans 24/7, calls trains "Thundersnakes". That's just illogical, they're not supposed to have warrior vocabulary. But that's just small details and I overall quite enjoyed the book, it had some seriously cool stuff going on. Like the sole existence of the Guardians, really: that was quite a gulp of fresh air!
Alice D It's not really warrior vocabulary; even if they are kittypets, they have no idea wtf a train is and have to give it a name
Well, nobody else but the warriors give the prefix "Thunder" to everything that has to do with paths for vehicles, so... but in a sense you could be right if the cats from Twolegplace had somehow been influenced so much by the Clans that they have started to adopt their vocabulary, but the two groups tend to avoid each other as much as they can so that's pretty unlikely- or Minty and the other kittypets that have already been staying in a Clan, should it be ThunderClan or the Darktail-led ShadowClan, have been influenced by their stay and the warrior vocabulary they brought back spread to all the others, and that's the only plausible theory I can come up with to explain this. Anyways, this is a pretty small detail anyways, isn't it?
Although I’ve never liked Tigerheart and Dovewing’s relationship, it honestly touched my heart in the scene where Tigerheart was dying and then Dovewing tried to keep him conscious and such by asking if he remembers such situations with the both of them from the past.
I know, that scene was touching. :)
I know right! I really wish she'd gotten to mention how she 'saved' him way back in in OOTS when the two were meeting in the caves; he was jumping on a tree and the wood splintered, or something like that. I think Tigerheart gained a lot of respect and appreciation for Dovewing that day.
I'm looking forward to Spirekit not only because he's named after Spiresight, but also because he's Needletail's younger brother.
Also I really like Shadowkit because he reminds me of Pebble Heart a lot.
omg shadowkits like pebbleheart junior
Needletail’s brother?
@@williamma3483 Berryheart was Needletail's mother, and Berryheart now has a second litter of kits, one of them being Spirekit
@@sorrelsticks5546 Oh yeah.
I'm unnecessarily angry about Shadowkit's name. Super excited about my girl Cinnamon tho. Kinda hope they name her Cinnamonfur because then I can claim that they stole my OCs name and I'd be not-wrong.
Also I once resurrected an OC warrior cat in the exact same way they did for Tigerheart so it's nice to see that my fan story from elementary school is now canonically possible
DeviantCinnamonfur
Well, if they name her Cinnamonfur you can sue them, claim rights for the character or have them confirmed that she was named in your honour
"Either you "admit" that you named it after my character or I sue you"
I like cinnamon fur ^^
Moth Flight's Journey is amazing, but I personally don't like the ending.
Rainpool Art Moth Flight's Vision is the fastest Super Edition I've ever read - about five and a half hours to finish it. I liked it in the moment but I'm kinda neutral. Micah was adorable.
I quite loved mothflight's vision too, I didn't like the ending much either though.
Moth flight's vision is life and Micah is amazing but I do say if it's warriors there is gonna be at least one problem XD
Rainpool Art I loved Moth Flight's Vision. It was so good. I bought it during a trip and finished it during the car ride home.
Rainpool Art I absolutely adored that book, but the ending was a bit dissapointing
Simmy: I'm so glad Spiresight made it to StarClan
The broken code: HA GOTCHA
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR U TO TALK ABOUT THIS!!!
Finally! Someone else who doesn't think this book is satan. Tumblr had a toddler-esque hissyfit over this book, but honestly it's one of my fav super editions so far. I thought it was fine, the fuck's everybody's issue?
Also I've been calling Tigerheartstar Tigerstar the Younger.
When tumblr decides to hate something, they can get super petty about it, it seems. I honestly try to avoid the Warriors fandom on tumblr because it's extremely negative most of the time. :'(
Tigerstar the Younger! I like it! It's like giving them a title!
+Lord Fang
I _really_ liked Tigerheart's Shadow. It's a not so guilty pleasure of mine.
wow am i dreaming someone... who actually likes this book like as much as i do THIS IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME THING
Thing is, this whole name thing has gotten me confused at the start. Like, I was confused why he was alive and mate to Dovewing when his physical body died in the original series. Like, I had to check it. And what does it mean by TPD on the Warriors Wiki?
So just because a cat shares the same prefix and appearance as another cardboard not mean they are a reincarnation of that previous cat. Tigerheart is named what he is for a reason.
Exactly
Tigerstar is named after Tigerstar because Tawnypelt felt this is what Tigerstar should have been (( Even though I think evil Tigerstar is better then goody four paws Tigerstar)) So yeah
I think you mean TPB. It stands for The Prophecies Begin, which is the name for the original warriors series, the one with Into the Wild-The Darkest Hour
NylaTheWolf
Oh. I thought it meant The Prophecies Die. I've had enough of those. :(
I was so hopeful that tigerheart dying would give us the chance to have tawnystar. my dreams r crushed
We respect your opinion but THANK GOODNESS TAWNYPELT DID NOT BECOME LEADER
We want SHADOWCLAN back, not another ThunderClan
he's tigerstar now. and only IF he makes his mother his deputy.
OH MY GOD SOMEONE ELSE WHO LIKED THE BOOK!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH TENELLE
Omsc senpai noticed me!
Yay I'm glad you like it to! Honestly I though it was just me and like Tennelle that liked it XD
Lol ikr!
i feel you i loved this book
OMG its like evryone on the internet hates dovewing and tigerheart or like dovewing but hates tigerheart i love this book so much and i love dovewing and tigerheart
"I'm glad that Spiresight made it into StarClan!"
The Broken Code: *_You say?_*
Alright, any other Wings of Fire fans wondering if Tui T. Sutherland tried to smuggle the name Blaze into the book as an "easter egg" relating to her books?
Orchid the RainWing I'm pretty sure there's also a cat somewhere literally named Nightwing
Imitation Infinity I was thinking about that yesterday xD
Oh I never really noticed that! It would make sense tho
Also you're like the only person I've seen who also likes wings of fire lol
Wasn`t there an Icewing too?
I personally think Tigerheart's Shadow was really good. There were some points brought up that I didn't really see just casually reading the book that I now totally agree with, but there was one part of the book that got development that I thought was incredibly well deserved, that being the relationship between Tigerheartstar and Dovewing. I despised this couple during the duration of Omen of the Stars, so much so that I was dreading reading Tigerheart's Shadow. I loved Dovewing, and I still do, but I just couldn't really imagine a sweet cat like her with the arrogant mouse-brain that is Tigerheart. My train of thought was, "Dovewing has a tom in ThunderClan who loves her just as much as Tigerheart! Why can't she just be with Bumblestripe?" This really wasn't helped by the... aggressive, for lack of a better word, interactions between Dovewing and Tigerheart in the earlier books of AVoS, especially Thunder and Shadow. However, after reading Tigerheart's Shadow, I've come to realize that despite all of the disagreements this couple had, despite all of their hardships, they truly love each other. Tigerheart eventually realizes that his heart lies with Dovewing, and is willing to travel StarClan knows how far to find her. When Tigerheart is on the brink of death, Dovewing is so grief-stricken that she is constantly in denial of Tigerheart's state of health and insists on bringing him back to the lake. There are probably more examples of their development that I'm forgetting, but these two were the ones that stood out to me. Not only has their relationship developed, but my opinion on them has changed as well. Their hearts truly lie with each other. And you know what? That's good enough for me.
(Sorry Bumblestripe I love you my little underrated bean)
the church is real?
Yep. They legit go to a church to have kids.
I thought that was a joke maid by Moonkitti
I thought that too OML XD
I'd suggest you'd read it it's pretty good. The church part was pretty weird tho
I guise I might get it for Christmas
Did anyone else get a strong Pebble Heart vibe from Shadowkit?
why did the kitting take like 2 seconds this time
lucky dovewing
I don't like that she joined Shadowclan (look at the wiki)
Streamstar 49 Ivypool was probably EXTREMELY MAD
I think it's actually a good idea. Gets some new blood in ShadowClan and takes cats out of ThunderClan (which is overpopulated like crazy) and Dovewing could really be helpful in restoring ShadowClan. It's sad that she'll be separated from her family (mostly Ivypool) but I'm sure the two will remain close despite borders.
TennelleFlowers Yeah, kind of like Tawnypelt and Bramblestar.
Yep but now we have Grandma Tawnypelt XD
TennelleFlowers half of thubderclan is gonna starve to death in leafbare from overpopulation
While there are some people ragging on the book, not going to say names, I enjoyed it. In comparison to other more recent warriors series/books I like how, like you said, things that in previous books might have just been filler, actually ended up meaning something. Also I really hope they do something with Tigerheart and Dovewing's kits. While their parents might not be the best, they could turn out to be very interesting characters!
I won't be going over this one until December, so we'll have to wait a while and see where I agree or disagree with you on this book. I get the feeling that I'll also view it as a mixed bag, but maybe a different mix. Either way, great analysis as always! You've got me looking forward to this one.
Also I just realized that this means that two of Tigerstar's descendants became leaders, but so far Firestar's descendants have mainly become medicine cats, plus one deputy. So who is the better role model, really.
Just finished Tallstars revenge. Love it!
The Wolf Files Tall x Jake for life, am I right?
Imitation Infinity yass girl!
The Wolf Files I just finished that book last week! It was so good!
How is everyone (Especially Mistystar,Brambleclaw,Graystripe Brackenfur and co.) gonna react to this
Mistystar-Brother killed by Tigerstar
Bramblestar-(y'know why)
GrayStripe-helped expose tigerstar for the murderer he was
Brackenfur and co.-Both sisters were injured because of him
Honestly Dawnpelt being confirmed dead was the worst part of this book for me. I love my angry lady :(
she should have stayed where she was. than she wouldnt have been killed off.
Yo I know this isn't related to the video at all but this is my best chance of asking you.
I'm considering taking animation for university, and I was wondering if you know any good ones. I know you love near Chicago (where I live) and I've already picked out a few from my college fair, but only so many came. Do you have any you wouldn't mind sharing with me?
I don't quite understand why anyone would like this book, but I am not about to start arguing about it, though. The way Dovewing rolls over and lets him walk all over her and his canon-crushing resurrection are two things I just can't forgive.
Quiet Rage
i saw your vid :>
"What, the ----, did I just REEEED" Iove that line
Quiet Rage Yeah, I saw your rage video and it was hilarious but I agree with you
I didn't like Tigerheart's shadow in my opinion it was TERRIBLE I agree with you Quiet rage
THIS IS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT i watched the 30 minute video made entiarly to say why tigerheart is horrible and dovewing would never act like that guess what erin hunter can write what she wants ill happily read it i love tigerheart and dovewing
I felt the same exact way about the whole theme of "These cats MUST be warriors!". It honestly frustrated me and you literally took the words out of my mouth. I literally was thinking "Tigerheart, shut up! Stop forcing your lifestyle onto these cats! They seem perfectly fine with their peaceful ways!". I was hoping Tigerheart was going to learn to accept the different lifestyle of the guardian cats and learn not to be so stubborn and aggressive, but I knew that the authors were trying to make Tigerheart turn out to be in the right.
legit Dovewing named one of her kits after Shadowclan? IS THAT EVEN LEGAL?? IM CALLING 911
It isn't actually a rule that kits can't be named Thunder-, Shadow-, Wind- or River- as there have been a few cats in the past with these names, Windflight most notably.
I personally ADORED this book. I never found an interest in Tigerheart, though now i'm his biggest fan (Sorry Dovewing!). I feel like the Doveheart relationship really develops over the entire time of this Super Edition. I mean, I don't even LIKE the power of three or omen of the stars, but I sure can swoon over a tomcat named Spire!! I am hit like a bird to a cat in this book due to the extreme emotion. I currently don't have the next book (Darkest Night) yet, though i'm prepared for everything. Bring it on, sad deaths! You don't bother me now that I gots myself a MANNNN!!
I used to ship Dovewing and Bumblestripe, but now I like Dovewing and Tigerheart after reading Tigerheart's Shadow. Lightkit, Pouncekit and Shadowkit are really cute! I personally love Spire and Shadowkit. Such wise, wise cats lol
The meme book review…
WHY DOVEWING.? I TRUSTED YOU ( Lol not really )
YOU HAD KITS WITH....
HIM....
Maybe it's just because I liked Tigerheart and Dovewing's characters already, but I thoroughly enjoyed this book, even if it did drag a bit in the middle. I loved the conflict with Tigerheart, trying to decide who needed him more, and I loved how much more ... What's the word? Fierce (?) Dovewing was in here. People are saying she was ooc but I feel like it just showed how much she's grown. And becoming a mother does change people. And she was still kind hearted like she's always been, she was just more of a stubborn, strong willed mom as well. And I personally like that.
I do wish we had gotten to see Ivypool too though. But I guess we still have more books for that.
And same. I LOVED that bit at the end when tiger was like "K, honey. I'm dyin' now. See ya bea." And she was like "Oh HELL NAW bitch! You are NOT dying! I will carry your ass if I have to!" It was sweet and kinda funny. Lol.
I also noticed people's dislike of her joining Shadowclan, but look at it this way, they are now the first forbidden couple that has ACTUALLY WORKED OUT. They didn't end in a break up or death(technically), and no one had to abandon their kids! I call that a win.
About that bit with the clans shoving their lifestyle and beliefs down other cats throats, I actually made a big long rant about that on Tumblr. Lol. It was really grating on my nerves. That I think was the one thing I really honestly didn't like about the book. And it's not just his book, the warriors do this every time they meet other cats. Maybe not to this degree but still. Hope this issue gets addressed at some point in the books.
Oh and FINALLY THEY CONFIRM DAWNPELT'S DEATH. I was waiting for that.
Overall I liked the book. Moth Flight's vision is still my favorite super edition, but this one was pretty good too. Curious to see how the other clans will react to all this. And I'd like to know how Rowanstar died. And... Ivypool and Bumblestipe. Will Ivypool be accepting or angry? And will Bumblestipe sulk then move on or be another Ashfur? Gotta say, this book has made me more curious and excited for the next book in AVoS.
Completely agreed!!! I felt people were too freaked out over DoveTiger. Honestly it was a really good book.
TIGERSTAR REMIX I AM DYING!!!
I think everyone loves Spire(sight) and Blaze. Definitely my favourites in the book.
I really, really agree about Shadowkit!!!! I definitely want him to be a medicine cat, but would love him as a Warrior with a strong connection to Starclan.
(On a side point, if Twigpaw goes to Skyclan, I really want Alderheart to join them as their medicine cat. I love his older brother disposition towards her and don't really want them separated.)
The Guardian cats were definitely an interesting bit to the story. I loved all the new terms and concepts - like the Thundersnake, City, and Strays.
(I think the only old upset I still hold onto is that Tigerheart was a gold/brakes colored tabby like Lionblaze in Power Of Three (Long Shadows) - he makes mention of how their pelts are similar and that must because they're 'kin.')
Anyways: sorry for the tangent!! Loved this and I look forward to Hawkwing's Journey review! (I joke about how it's 400 pages of Hawkwing angst but honestly it was a great book.)
'Hawkwings journey' *throws Tigerhearts Shadow out of the way* OKAY WHEN AND WHERE CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS BOOK
“I’m glad Spiresight made it to Starclan.”
Well-
OH MY GOD ITS ANOTHER TIGERSTAR CLONEEEEEEEEEEEE. But wait... its a girl? *^*
the moment when Odin village music from twilight princess comes on I just die from joy and squeal with delight I just love that game so much
Ok but the feeling of horror must've hit the cats hard when all they were told was "TIGERSTAR IS ALIVE!" like I read that and broke out laughing just imagining the looks of horror on the cats face.
WORST. SUPER. EDITION. EVER. THOUGHT. OF.
Reason: Now theres a Tigerstar 2.0? Really? This is getting annoying...
There have been of many leader names. Plus no offense but a name is kinda a bad reason to hate a book, especially THAT BAD xD
Triggerstar
I always wanna comment how good videos are and then I hear Zelda music and I have to comment about that haha. I think I heard Faron woods theme but I could be mixing that up with something else.
You should most definitely read yellowfang's secret
I won't spoil anything
But in my opinion it's pretty good and gives you a better backstory on yellowfang
Whelp, I saw on the wiki that CROWFEATHER is getting a super edition! What is anybody's opinion?
Rainpool Art I really like Crowfeather, despite what the fandom says. I mean, I'm not sure about what else we don't know about him that could be so interesting to write about, but I'm proud of Crowboy to have one if it's true.
Personally, I'm kinda upset... Everyone says that everyone else says Crowfeather is awful when ready everyone says Crowfeather is awesome? Idk, I liked him at first, but then everything kinda went downhill? I just hate the way he used Nightcloud and neglected Breezepelt. Sorry, I just had to get this out. I really don't like Crowfeather...
+Rainpool Art
I'm excited but also anxious for Crowfeather's Trial.
WAIT WHAT! AHHHH so EXCITED!!!
(realizes that it's released next year) *cries*
I AM SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO EXITED
This is like....a really nice book club...
Edit: Ahh thanks for the heart! >w
The names for the Tigerstars should be Tigerstar Jr. and Tigerstar Sr.!
am I the only one who had a fangirl moment when the ordon village music came on in the bg? no? ok
Maybe the other leaders will demand a name change not wanting to be reminded of one of the darkforest leaders that tried to wipe out the clans, or they'll keep calling him by his warrior name.
My Favorite Characters In the book
Spire
Dash
Fuzzball
Bl4ze
Am I the only one who genuinely disliked Hawkwing's Journey? I found the story to be rushed and VERY predictable. The characters also all seemed cheesy and lacked any memorable traits. It almost feels like the book was written by a different person. I really just didn't like it.
Ginger the Fox
I hated Hawkwing's journey.
I mean I find modern Skyclan boring anyway, but I could at least read it from another character's POV. With Hawkwing, I forced myself to finish it. It seemed rushed and overall incomplete. Very bland book in my opinion.
Famous Jammer
Exactly!
Famous Jammer how was it out of place? Cats get crushes. Cats fall in love. It a normal part of life and should be expected. And I was glad to have some sort of happiness in that book. Whole thing was depressing and hopeless til the end. Bad things keep happening and I thought the only cats that was going to be left was hawkwing, leafstar and echosong.
Tigerstar l: Tigerclawstar
Tigerstar ll: Bramblestar
Tigerstar lll: Hawkfrost
Tigerstar llll: Tigerheartstar
Tigerstar lllll: Strikestone
*ALL HAIL TIGERSTAR llllll: BUMBLESTRIPE AND DOVEWING'S FUTURE KITTENS*
My biggest issue with Tigerclone number 3 ,is he's always considered loving and kind- then the Broken Code comes along and makes him a complete and total jerk.
i’m still kinda confused as to why Tawnypelt named her son Tigerkit. i think in canon it’s to show that a kit with Tigerstar/claw’s namesake wont be evil, but it seems really stupid on Tawny’s part, considering she basically hates her dad
Wait so Tigerheart gets a super edition while Hollyleaf doesn't? What is going on with Erins?!
Kelly Reilly
Well Hollyleaf is dead...and what would it be about?
Super editions usually incude a leader's hardships and their journey to find themselves. (Tallstar's Revenge, Crookedstar's Promise)
We know Hollyleaf's hardships and she did find herself. She is a Thunderclan cat. Her story has come to an end. She was an interesting character tho. But there is no more to write about for her.
There is hollyleaf story. Other than that, there nothing left to write about anymore
As someone who has ALWAYS preferred TigerDove over BumbleDove this book made me really happy. Although I’ll miss Dovewing’s presence in Thunderclan, I can also see why going to Shadowclan might be easier for her and Tigerheartstar, since he is a leader now.
Right now I’m just worried they might pull an Ashfur 2.0 with Bumblestripe, and Thunderclan’s reaction also worries me, but I’m gonna assume it’ll be relatively okay.
I also really hope Shadowkit becomes a medicine cat. It’d make sense and it’d be pretty cute imo.
Plus Shadowclan might finally be able to begin raising its population after it nearly got wiped out. I heard they only have about 6 members right now? Yeah, Shadowclan needs this, compared to TC’s staggering amount of cats.
1:33 okay okay this is all great commentary and all, but you cAN'T JUST HIDE ZREO MUSIC BACK THERE, I HEAR THAT ORDON VILLAGE REORCHESTRATION, TENNELLE, YOU CAN'T FOOL ME
I loved dove wing before with her powers and stuff
She was one of my favs and I loved the ivy pool dove wing story
But they RUINED her for me
First of all
Why tiger heart
I hate him so much
And they completely destroyed her character
Sorry if you like them or something but I hate all the clones with a passion and now they ruined dove wing by putting her with someone who doesn’t deserve her
Neither bumble stripe or tiger star deserve her
FIND SOMEONE BETTER JEEEEEEEZ
*sits up* was that Twilight Princess music???
Honestly, that Red Sox shitpost drawing is literally the only way I actually feel an intense love for their ship. They're an okay couple with their ups and downs, pros and cons, etc. in cannon. But all that drawing makes me picture is a furry/human AU, and I love the idea. I imagine them as a brief "on again off again" type fling that nobody ever expects to last (a college romance type thing). But it does. Both grow and mature as they graduate, become working, functioning adults ans eventually grow up into a mature, responsible couple with cute kids.
I had multiple problems with the book. While I enjoyed the first few chapters, I noticed the following flaws that really bugged me and just seemed to lower the quality of the book:
1: Tigerheart: To me, they treated Tigerheart like he's some sort of ultimate leader, and the universe, characters, and plot all seemed to favourite Tigerheart over the others. Tigerheart just acted too "perfect" for me, I could not relate to him, and he was not that interesting once his internal dilemma was solved(he wasn't that interesting before that, to be honest).
2: Why should I care: The plot failed to make it so I cared about the characters or plot. It relied on basic human sympathy and empathy to make me care, which doesn't work that well for me. Also, the stakes didn't feel too immediate or high.
3: The themes: The plot felt kinda wacky because it didn't have an obvious theme tying the plot together. Or, in other words, the execution of the themes was terrible. Basically what you said.
4: It felt like mostly filler: There were lots of events that just felt unnecessary. Actually, the whole book felt unnecessary. Many scenes just went on for too long, probably to take up space. The whole book probably would've been better if it was a novella over a SE.
So this how it’s gonna go down....
I SAY TIGERSTAR
YOU SAY TIGERSTAR TWINS
SAY WHAT NOW,
MOREEEEE TIGERRRRRSTARRRRRRRRS.
Well now we have a problem blaze want's to be a medicine cat but shadow kit has a strong connection with star clan which makes us thinks he's gonna be medicine cat but blaze want's to be med and already has some training which knowing the Erin's leaves us 1 other option he is gonna be leader but 2 shadow stars one was the founder of sc and the other is just a random church child
incorrect, Tigerstar 2 is Bramblestar Tigerstar 3 is Hawkfrost and Tigerheart is Tigerstar 4
Has anyone told you that you sound like Lightning Bliss from the MLP community?
I'm so glad you didn't just say crap about the book and you actually think it was pretty good.
I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO LIKED THIS BOOK PRAISE GOD!
“GET IN THE MOONPOOL MY LOVE”
*OH TIGERHEART, DON’T YOU SEE?*
*OUR DESTINY LIES NOT WITH THE CLANS, BUT WITH JESUS*
"The next episode should be Hawkwing's Journey"
And then it wasn't
1 AM
welp tennele uploaded, rest in pepperoni sleep
Me: never read this super edition because I don't care about Tiger heart star or Dovewing (always hated Dovewing. She felt like a Mary Sue to me.)
Video: Thunder snake
Me: train. Obviously train. What did they call train tracks? Seriously. I wanna know. Someone tell me
Probably thundersnake tracks
