Lunar C is a phenomenon and universally beloved in the UK.
Oshea's line "I'm fucking out of this world like I'm shagging Martians, I'll be your wish, I'll be your dream, I'll be your - Savage Garden" is one of my favourite lines. The cadence he has on it is joke

I meant within the battle scene. Lunar C is known more musically than Dialect though, I'm from West Yorkshire and he's known much better up here. They both dropped tapes recently and barely anyone spoke about Dialects

I really like Lunar C, one of the funniest in battle rap. However he is quite easily the most overrated battler ever. Biggest point being he has only faced people he can easily win against (Not saying Oshea is an easy opponent, just there are no winners or losers in an Oshea battle.
Micky Worthless, Uno Lavoz, and Bloodstro make up almost half his opponents. It's easy to seem amazing when your up against borderline trash
Tbf he seems like he battles to have fun. His music career is pretty successful and there would be no point for him to battle unless it’s someone who he can have fun with. I see what you mean though, there’s sooooo many people I wanna see him battle like Dumbfoundead, Shuffle T and Hollow
DPF actually had his best performance against Lunar, and yeah Lunar won but DPF was pretty damn good. And he did get bodied by Bloodstro

Illmac obviously doesn’t know anything about Lunar C. I’m an American and can tell you that dude is one of the meanest battlers ever. His music isn’t bad either, even though I don’t always care for his beats.

This is quite an old video but about that "UK have too many inside jokes" thing,
You have to remember the UK is a really small place compared to the US, most of these things you think are inside jokes are just regional references, references to large companies (UK equivalent to chipotle, wendys, walmart etc.) and references to UK Rappers. References to these things in the USA wouldnt come across as inside jokes its just the UK isnt as big as the USA so if youre not vaguely interested in what happens in the UK then youre not gonna understand the basic references
It's nice to see the reactions from guys form across the pond at Lunar's performances, there's a good reason why he is considered one of the all time greatest in the UK

Just to clarify the bloodstro thing, he was lunars tryout opponent, and the 'one whole night in bloodstros life' refers to one of bloodstros bars he says 'I seen more in a night than you seen in your whole life' and yes it came across as cringe worthy as it sounds but dudes a good sport and always shows up to support the troops, even if they are clowning him!
