Should you level up your camera? Well, it kind of depends.
Phones have amazing cameras, with great quality and capabilities. But the truth is stand alone DSLR and mirrorless cameras take so many things to the next level it's hard to list them all.
But will you use those additional capabilities shooting the type of videos you enjoy shooting? I discuss this in this video, and how WHAT you shoot is the most important consideration when determining whether you will actually benefit from upgrading your rig.

I paid $15 for a gimble here in Australia at Kmart with bluetooth connectivity and it extends into a tripod. Bargain!
