Spotted dolphins in the Azores

We went swimming with wild dolphins in Lajes do Pico in the Azores (September 2014).
This is a pod of Spotted dolphins we had the privilege to encounter and to be in the water with.
It was a magical moment that cannot be described with words.
Simply magical :)
Notice at the end, one of the swimmer laughing, exhalirating feeling of seeing such amazing creatures.
Mermaids 4 Cetaceans was a group of lightworkers and marine activists, who worked with dolphins and whales using animal communication and healing.

I envy youre experience.. Theyre so smart and peaceful, i find dolphins very very intriguing. Id love to swim with them one day

It was a magical experience particularly since it was done with the welfare of the dolphins in mind. Small zodiac boat, no other boats around, only 2 people in the water at any time and for only 5 to 10 minutes. We respected the dolphins, so let them approach us if they wanted, no touching, no chasing them, mindful that we were an uninvited guest in their home. I hope one day you will experience swimming with them the same way Deenan.
