Uhh I've heard a lot about Oreimo and heard that it has a lot of incest undertones. I don't hear a lot of positives about it though. However, it's quite prominent in the anime community so if you wanna dive deeper into the culture/collective, you can give it a shot.

Apparently the author had to make it the way he did in order to get published, bc at the time, the publishers were kinda hesitant on putting out a story that was incestual. So the author had to make changes, but he actually wanted them to get married for real and have kids in the end, so. . . The author's headcanon is what I feel like should be considered canon.

+Alex Wu Sure! I use wave cancellation in Audacity. 1. Download the original song you want to extract vocals from (it must be high quality). 2. Download the instrumental version of the song (it must be of the same quality). 3. Place both of the files into Audacity (a free download can be found online). 4. Move your instrumental file and match up the waves of the original. The button is at the top and looks like two arrows pointing away (it helps to zoom in for accuracy) 5. Select your instrumental, go to the top bar and select "Effect", then "Invert" 6. Play it and you should be able to cancel the instrumental out. Move the waves slightly until the instrumental feedback is minimal. 7. Go to File -> Export -> and choose what you want your output to be (mp3 or wav) For this mashup, I didn't know about this strategy so I actually found this acapella pre-made. Let me know if it works and feel free to get back to me if you need anything.

+Alex Wu It doesn't work all the time. Usually if Audacity fails, I use Utagoe which automatically does it for you (but you need to be using two wave files and the output isn't too clean). Make sure you're using CD rip quality.
