The block in Super Mario Sunshine only has perspects on 4 sides with the other 2 sides having nothing on them (imagine a square doughnut). Thats why Dan fell through the block

It's still worth playing! Definitely has its quirks though. I prefer those quirks over Galaxy's boring level design.

You should give it a shot! I replayed it because of Steal my Sunshine. It has issues, but it's still ha good game imo. Not great like 64 or Galaxy, but still good. That clip through the block was bullshit though... Never happened to me on my playthrough.
