We will always need the Escolania de Montserrat boys choir. They are the best. They bring peace and contentment in our lives. And they show you what true genius is really about...
Psalm 22, sung by the Escolanía is so very beautiful, it brings tears in my eyes, More then 10 years ago, I visited several times Montserrat during the Christmas-times, to celebrate my Christmas together with them, and it where the best and most unforgettable times of my life. Montserrat is a wonderful place, and I cherish still always very intensely the great moments that I was visiting the Abbey. Thank you for these greatMemories !
Nice to revisit Lluis Travesset who is singing on the far left. This recording would have only been months before he finished his time with the choir. His Vater Unser is a sublime recording of musical brilliance!
On our UA-cam Channel we have some videos of Bernat Vivancos' works. In fact, he's the current director of the choir and a former pupil of the Escolania. But for the moment, we haven't got any recording of his works.
Next to Lluís Travesset is his successor Jordi Prim, and opposite him is the conductor and choir Director Bernat Vivancos. A golden time for the Escolania de Montserrat!
The choir came to Russia. But at church it sounds different. In this psalm i hear very strong voice, woman, mezzo... Not boys. I cant see, who is singing In russian churches we dont have such music. So i always visit catholic churches everywhere

Això és meravellós, i ens omple de felicitat i d'agraïment sentir-ho! A veure quan podeu tornar a Montserrat.

I am so glad for you all! What an impressive audience! And a beautiful church!
This was their golden age. They were packed with superior talent with Jordi, Lluis, and the now great concert pianist Albert Cano leading the way..
Escolania is the best boys choir in Europe. Next is Tolzer and the Vienna boys choir

Grazie per questa straordinaria esecuzione.
Que hermosura! He comprado hace muchos años un disco (!) de la Missa Romana in F de Pergolesi con la Escolania. Un poco lento, pero celestial!
One of the most important songs in the catholic canon in Spain. I used listen to it twenty times a week at least..
amazing as usual !!!
So lovely...
Magnifico!
Obrigado! Això és tota una sorpresa! No sabíem que aquest salm es cantava en algun lloc del món en portuguès.
schön
