I remember that my first jojo game that I wish it returned back was Project JoJo. The point of the game was not to just level up, get stands and become stronger, but also have fun in creativity: you could combine numerous amounts of stands with simple subspecs, use holy corpse part to get a random buff or use aja mask to slightly buff your stats (and to remove sunburn for vampires and pillarmen), use requiem arrow to generally buff stats or to evolve Gold Experience and Silver Chariot into their requiem versions and so on. And as for the most interesting part you could add a stand as a sub-ability for your current stand - not your stand's model looked way different, but your gameplay and fight strategy as well. One of my most favourite stand combinations was GER as base and The World as a substand: not only I got ability to revert any damage (except for incoming damage from Tusk Act 4 and over heaven stands), but also I could stop time and at the same time move inside of opponent's stopped time (it was a passive ability of GER back then). It sounds unbalanced, but this is the whole point: you used your imagination to create the strongest set for stand (or a set just for fun), it was not like in modern jojo games where having a single stand granted you extreme advantage. Sadly, the main game developer stopped updating it and Project JoJo became super laggy. What I want to say with this message is that jojo games will not be boring if they use creativity over fighting system. And I hope that one day a game with familiar concept as Project JoJo had will appear and resurrect JoJo community in Roblox!
project jojo 2 is supposed to be releasing in a couple months, its an official remastered version of the old game keeping all of the old mechanics and reworking literally everything from the ground up to make it sustainable

Given most jojo games suffer from relying on time investment from its players (or straight up doesn't listen to its playerbase *cough cough AUT*) it was no wonder why they fell flat (especially when it's just pvp with little else)
Aut was the most fun roblox jojo game I have ever played. I used to play on a low end pc. It wasn't great but it ruined aut smoothly as well as yba. I had much more fun playing aut because it takes less effort to understand its generic pvp that most other roblox jojo games had. Where you stunned other people and beat them up. People thought that aut was trash because of that and aut tried to make their game like yba yet it still get no players. How does aut not listen to its community?

the reason why this game blew up is simple. following the trend and putting a gatcha on them. Cid and Sukuna are 1. broken as hell 2. popular as hell. both are locked behind gatcha and another is obtained via grind the minimum of 75 minutes of grind (50% chance for there to be an item spawning from a player and killing said player will drop the item. you need 15 of them). Also, both have flashy explosions. I think you get why the game got popular
The only valid reason is that they followed the trend, them putting a spin on sukuna doesn’t affect anything since you can literally obtain it with a quest. Then the finger system is 50% each 5 mins on a player but they made it way easier with the curses

as someone who has way too many hours in the game than one person should ever have. imma tell you rn, basically everything that was said was right. everything is up to chance and a long time waiting. as a random example from the vid, the turtle spawns randomly around the map with set spawnpoints that players NEED TO KNOW (its a small turtle no way your just "finding him randomly") or you have the spawn notifier gamepass. second point, take a guess at WHEN he spawns? at every 2 hour mark. a small turtle that randomly spawns around the map has a 50/50 chance of spawning every 2 hours. the only reason the game suddenly blew up is because sukuna and jjk just being in the game. (side note the main dev, fate, quit the game because of too high expectation and 0 patience from the community, so now theres a new actual dev TEAM. lets see if things get better. rework somewhere around march)
the massive part of the playerbase is definitely as you mentioned the jjk stuff recently season 2 has been a master piece i would go as far as to say anime of the year for me and if i wasn't aware of how the game works before the update id probs fall for the trump of playing it and realising its just a rng game only and the only time your having fun is when you pull the overpowered new specs/stand
I was a fan of this game back in its alpha release since it was just some mindless fun with no crazy requirements, then a while later they add the mastery system which makes you have to buy things sell things and open chests like 1000 times to get 1 mastery point and made it so everything new has a bullshit 1/10000 requirement or is just boring to obtain and thats when i checked out
Same here, it was harmless fun but then when i realized that every new update required hours and hours of gameplay and i further realized that leaving TinyTask running for 8 consecutive hours Just To Say "i got the new thing" just wasn't doing it for me, especially since in the end, that's what i had to do for Every Single New Thing. That, and the community is plain atrocious.

Making or adding the new trendy animes is the Meta for roblox anime games in that last 5 years. I still remember the time when Jojo part 5 was airing and the popularity of the franchise hitted it peek, leading to the release of many Jojo games on roblox. But the Jojo trend has been slowly dying and replaced with many others anime title (demon slayer, jjk, chainsaw man,...). Quite literally, as a Jujutsu Kaisen fan we are ALL FIENDING for JJK games. If TCA adds jujutsu kaisen specs it will legitimately blow up I think. JJK is genuinely like how Jojo games are saving themselves. It's a fantastic show with amazing abilities and I'd love to see it in TCA.

Eclipse, I think games like sakura stand and just crappy games in general nowadays just add whatever is popular at the time for extra players. Like instead of trying to fix their combat or just add something decent in their game they just add something ridiculous that takes a crap ton of time to obtain which i feel like is for 2 main reasons: The first one is probably premium payouts. Premium payouts are basically if premium users/players play your game for a while, you get money. (i think this is how it works not sure though) The second one is probably to just keep players playing their game. An example is one of their previous updates, which they added geto from jujutsu kaisen. Since jjk was getting popular at the time, they added geto which is ABSURDLY hard to obtain and takes a boatload of time to actually get and the point of that i feel like is to just keep people playing for longer so that they can just add some other crappy thing when their players get bored of geto.
The funniest part of this to me, is I’ve spent like 100 hours at this point in Sakura stand, and not once have I even considered it good. Also eclipse this is nothing new Sakura stand usually averages like 10k players which is insane, not to mention the quest grinding for a singular spec takes a couple days of grinding

As someone who plays this game, the reason why it's so popular is because it's downright simple. Collect box, level up, mastery, breakthrough, repeat. Then after that, you get something you want after grinding and it's just satisfying, even if the game is clearly not the best, the factor of the fanbase being mostly children who love collecting shit in random games could definitely lead up to its success (sorry for terrible English). The way they jump on hype trains such as JJK, Eminence in Shadow, and even Genshin Impact. Even I'm dumbfounded at how little Jojo this Jojo game has. But everyone has their preferences for games, some like actual good PVP games with good obtainment methods while others like a mix of A Bizzare Day with gacha hell (As a degenerate that plays FGO this is the main factor on why I even bother playing this game). (If I end up on a DDOS video I'd like to say hi) I and my friends have some of the rarer sides of things in this game, but after we get them there really is nothing to do afterward. We just log off and play Valorant or some shit until the next update comes, it's just an endless loop of collecting rare shit, waiting for the next update, collecting update shit, logging off, and repeat. The combat system is also admittedly downright horrendous, I tried playing ranked and 1v1s and I got shat on by some guy that redeemed all the codes and got Cid out of pure luck. I wouldn't say this is a good game, but it's definitely fun when I was playing this with my friends and just messing around in the game. The game overall felt more like a sandbox rather than an actual Jojo game, You should never play this game if you have something fun to do which I clearly don't have anything to. Yep this is one of those games that keep their player count high because of how grindy it is The grindier the game=the more time a regular player will spend in it Thats why i dislike these games, its fun at the beginning but at mid game or if i reach late game it just feels empty and then i regret wasting time on such a boring game

If someone wants something and they have to rely on luck to get it, they’ll play longer so their chances increase. If old people stay long while new people join, their play count will increase. Sakura stand had 20 000 people playing it at once during Toji/Geto update, Also, the game was a single developer passion project, up until Sukuna update, where the developer left due to growing tired of people harassing him, and then he was replaced by a full dev team, and they fucked up with Sukuna update and broke quite alot of things(and Sukuna spec sucks, and made worse than the former solo dev could do)
The new devs didn’t mess up the game, the old developer was using abd modded script and it was very confusing for the new developers to understand. While the Sukuna spec does suck it is incomplete.
I played SS a LOT when it wasn't this much RNG, it's seriously gotten out of hand, look at specs like Cid Kanegou which REQUIRE you to gamble on a 0.5% chance with a 50% so effectively a 0.25% chance, and the BIG selling point about it is it's large nuke that covers like 30% of the map but IT'S LITERALLY A 10 MINUTE COOLDOWN THAT YOU CAN WALK OUT OF. The 10 MINUTE COOLDOWN MOVE can be WALKED OUT OF by ANYONE and if you die before the spawn cooldown ends, GO WAIT AGAIN. Then you have specs like Anubis Requiem which, you need 100% worthiness and be lucky enough to find a thunder ring during a thunder storm, then if you fail the QTE, SCREW YOU, GO GRIND FOR WORTHINESS AGAIN. You'd think you'd get something useful right? NOPE, it's main gimmick USED to be good but people who didn't know how to counter the spec complained to the devs and got it GUTTED. The playerbase is also seriously an issue. They make the ONLY dev quit and then come begging for him back less than 3 days later when they've made a proper dev team. The game was seriously doomed from the start. In conclusion, when it was brand new, it was actually pretty fun with minimal rng but it has gone too far.
On the part of Anubis requiem obtaiment you can just spam h (was it h? I don't remember) and you won't lose the qte even if the ring isnt even close to the circle.

Idk if Eclipse said something bout this ( if you did eclipse, I’m sorry) but he missed out the fact that this games community manage to piss off their games solo dev (fate said he wanted to solo and auddy was basically leaching off of him I think) that he makes a highly anticipated spec fully p2w and quit the game entirely because ppl could not wait for a week or a tiny bit more than a week for the spec to come out
I'll be honest, I joined this game near the start of its lifespan and I was pretty happy to see it. It reminded me of ABD, just with a more modern design. Each update brought a new stand or spec, and typically, they were somewhat balanced. I could grab any stand or spec and have a decent time with it. But as this game grew and added more and more anime specs that weren't even from JoJo, it just got so much worse. They added a Gacha system, the balancing got horrendous, and I know that they've started to give extreme bias towards rarer and harder to get stands. It's really depressing honestly. This game was never FANTASTIC, but I could at least say it was good, but I can't even do that anymore. It sucks to see how much worse it's gotten, but not like I can do much about it.
thats what I hate about Sakura Stand. It's a "JoJo game" yet the last JoJo's related update was the heaven update that came out more than a year ago. At this point just call it a JJK game since that's clearly where all the effort is put into. On top of the fact MiH is basically the only stand that is equal to the JJK specs from a development standpoint as all the other stands are uninspiring and boring.

last time sakura stand added/updated something jojo related ( the entire point of the game ) was ages ago because of all the specs they add. you might as well re-name the game to spec stand because its no longer jotaro vs dio, its shinra vs sukuna vs gojo vs a random anime character from some anime ive never heard of vs deku vs luffy. I believe that Sakura Stand is popular cause' of Jujutsu Kaisen, heavily dependent on the hype train of JJK. Similar to AUT, who to my knowledge, is adding Gojo (or updating because I think he was already in the game,) Yuta, and Toji. But I gotta ask, why? Is it fever from the devs over JJK? Are the players asking for it? Has it been in the making for a while? Well, I think that similarly to what I think is the case for Sakura Stand, it's due to three reasons. 1. Developers wanted to add JJK stuff, so they did. 2. To boost the numbers of a 'dead' game (considering average roblox numbers for the more popular anime-based games on roblox and AUT's player spike then swift downfall upon release of the 'New Universe,') by riding current hype trains. 3. money I think it's both 2 and 3 with a bit of 1 mixed in. Since: 1. They both started off with JoJo as a base then built off of it by adding more stuff, either out of passion. 2. Slapping Goku, Gojo, Sans, etc onto the cover of a game is a really good way to draw in about 2-4k players at least. 3. AUT having skins and Sakura Stand having a gacha system both imply wanting to monetize a free game and suck some money out of the playerbase as both systems require some sort of 'premium currency.' (Like in most mobile and modern games with diamonds, gold, etc.) However, I feel as if the devs just dug in their heels and tried to make something unique and fun, they'd see a lot more permanent players instead of having to rely on the constant highs and lows riding a hype train provides. But the majority of Roblox players are kids; And these kids are really easily to exploit out of their money and attention. So, taking tactics to abuse that is ultimately what a lot of devs are going to prefer to do. Either out of need or necessity. A need/want to make bank or the desire to get their game they put genuine time and effort into out there. The exception to this is Deepwoken. It's unique, you can feel the care in it, it's generally mostly free besides some small yet annoying stuff like race rolling and such. I really want to like the game, but as a solo player, I can barely enjoy the game if every time I try to play I get jumped by people who get a weird thrill out of ganging up on newer players. sakura stand was going in a good direction until fate the main developer quit, now its run by whisper team and they r reworking the whole game so they r just adding new specs with an option or earn or buy them since they aren't a very competent dev team tbh.

As someone who is still suffering grinding for Cid on SS, this is pretty much right. I can think of 7 “guaranteed” stands/specs you can get without grinding forever and only about 4 of them are actually really viable. This game is basically 2019 YBA for me, I enjoy how the pvp goes (however AUT like it may be) and I mainly just hop on ranked and that’s it. There are unbalanced specs for sure (fuck geto) but nothing on the level of 2019 YBA SCR.
@@bugsbunny7997You can block when the. !!!! appears above your head to not get stunned then dash away to not get hit and other times i dodged it by just holding 1 key and walking away even tough i get the slow from the stun. Also the downside of getting the speed and jump boost is that toji only has 275 hp which makes him the 3rd most frail spec in the game followed by the ofa stages (not usted on pvp ever) and padoru (it's a troll spec)
The crazy thing is, I remember playing this game some time ago, whenever it first came out/gained traction, and I realized about 30 minutes in that it was the same fundamental gameplay as ADB: Wait for thing to randomly spawn> Use said randomly spawned thing to get a item(bonus points if getting that item has RNG)> Use item to get new ability/skin/spec/whatever bullshit> Repeat. This was the "gameplay" pioneered by games like ABD and Project JoJo. These games are nostalgic to some, but they are objectively bad games, with boring mechanics. And Sakura stands is no different, just with flashier graphics, shinier buttons, and different gimmicks. It's crazy to me that this game could've become popular out of the blue, without changing anything, and being the same game as ABD to begin with. If you're a legitimate Sakura stands player/enjoyer still reading this, I want you to ask yourself, what is so good about this game? Is it the combat? I guarantee you could find something more engaging like dark souls or any 2d fighting games. Is it the skins? Not really gameplay, just more grinding, but for something that is even less valuable than a digital punch ghost. Is it the collectathon? I'd personally recommend something in the real world if you're so interested in collecting things... Is it just the fact it's a cool character/stand you like and you want to use all the cool moves? I guess I can't blame you, but there are fancier looking games, I'll say that. I'd just recommend something more worth your while, and I'm not saying "go touch grass" or anything like that, but I just mean within the realm of gaming, there are so many different interesting things you could be doing, but instead, you're wasting away on a reskinned ABD gambling simulator, with devs who couldn't give less of a rats ass about making actual content
I I think people are just tired of YBA combat man. Complain all you want and all, but no one is going to play TCA for gameplay anymore, just skins. Most of the YBA clones aren't even updating regularly enough for most people to consider playing it to be worth it.
The reson sakura stand randomly gets lots and LOTS of players during updates, is because people want to get the new item/stand/skin in the update because they look cool. personaly i think these games are only ment for braindead people like myself who only play during updates, get the new stuff, and then quit till the next one. @sandunderman585 So first it started off with doing miscellaneous tasks such as dealing dmg with anubis and stuff like that but the REALLY hard part was the pvp wins which used to be 100 wins but they lowered it to about 50 wins if I remember correctly so yeah it was pretty tough.
It's so confusing to me that I've seen barely anyone say anything bad about Sakura Stand. Like the majority of roblox JoJo content creators are slaves to this game Also, with JJK hype being at an all time high right now, it's not surprising that they capitalized on the hype. Of course, without the pandering to the JJK fandom this game would have absolutely no leg to stand on, because there's literally nothing to do but grind for abilities on hours on end. No matter how hard this game tries, it will never grow beyond its ABD roots. That is, if their even trying lmao, which is doesn't seem like it.
As someone who has been playing Sakura Stand for over a year, I can confidently say, YES, the game kinda sucks. Pvp is unbalanced for the most part and the game is mostly based on rng or long grinding. BUT, the reason it has more players than YBA (I'm assuming) is due to the fact that the only thing you can really do after beating the YBA storyline is: SBR, 1v1s or skin grind (and we all know how horrible current yba pvp is and the dogshit trade values.) But in the case of Sakura Stand, sure it doesn't have a storyline, but there are WAY more things to do in it than YBA. I'm not saying you have to agree with this opinion of mine but I have played both games for well over a year (been playing YBA since Jan 2021 and have been playing Sakura Stand since October or November 2022.)
Hit the nail on the head, nice video. Since the pandemic (this seems to be when jjba majorly took off at least to me, as everyone was playing jjba roblox) the games have massively fallen off. Stand upright seemed good back then during the pandemic as nobody had anything to do except waste time, but once everything went back to normal the game had absolutely nothing to go off of besides "wow i have a leg stand look guys". All of the jjba games ive seen and played have the same rng grindfest setup that makes them really boring. Then the original stand upright got closed, and a few months after that, ABD went as well. Most jjba games have lost their original touch as they just slapped short term measures of who was popular at the time just kicked the can down the road instead of addressing the core issues: The games are boring grindfests that you have to spend way too much time on. Once you get what you want, there's no point in playing anymore as you've already done what you wanted I feel. Seems jjk is the trendy anime right now, but time will tell if jjk games will follow the same path.
tbh its simple we just love wasting our time on stuff just to flex it . the main motive out of this game is pain full grind or farm for hours in exchange u can flex hard earned spec and then leave the game till new update drop or maybe join pvp for few rounds and then leave the game till new update drop

As someone who has played sakura stand since it first released, since before the revamp, since before everything. I can say that this individual couldn't be spitting more bars and facts. The game is mid, it's a constant gamble where you wake up AFK for 3 hours while you scroll on YT Shorts, come back to nothing new, kill all the bosses on the map, AFK for 3 more hours, rinse and repeat. I hate the direction games on the platform have gone these days and thank god someone's speaking up about it now.
Y'know, I was so hyped up when Cid Kagenou spec was announced for this game, so hyped that I "played" Sakura Stand non-stop for almost a week. And when it came out, it's locked behind an RNG wall. Wow, what a great game.

Tbh i prefer rng banner than the original idea of Fate making it only obtainable for 50 people but it would be way better if it was a quest (not the old one) instead of a bannner

The requierments to get the quest were have breaktrough 2 (to get 1 breaktrough you need to get mastery 15 and to get mastery you need level 50). Step 1 was doing some puzzles then the frist part of step 2 was gonna be do some more puzzles and at the end of step 2 you we're going to "sacrifice" one of your friends (your friend had to have bt 2 for it to work and when you sacrifice them they lose 2 bt, they be cant "sacraficed" again and can't do the cid quest anymore) Then the final step was gonna be survive 24 hours in public servers whiout dying once while the WHOLE server was going to hunt you down and the game across all servers gives a message when you join a public server + you are marked where you are at in the map. And if you die you gotta start all over from step 1. And only 50 people could get the cid spec.
Honestly from what I think is that it kinda like how you sometime having fun with old Aut combat like the TWHV video and such back then, it's sometime fun with busted long combo that you figure out than running around getting: -perfect block nonstop by really high skilled players. -people dash, hyperarmor, counter mid-combo thanks to Roblox latency and players lag Those 2 rather than just stuns from long combo. I don't hate new combat much but it's just so annoying to get pb-ed too much. Things was funnier when it's simple rather than too competitive. I don't even enjoy big AoE broken dmg though, it's too brain dead and not fun. So I suppose somewhere between TCA, old YBA or new AUT combat (before ascension update) and stun simulator combat is where the mark hits. Yea it does sound like big Skill Issue but again, not everyone can master this combat, getting bullied while learning is dis-motivating as heck and not everyone has top-of-the-line connection. As for myself, Roblox took down most if not all Region that are close to Canada so I have to play with regions from south of US ffs.

sakura stand is getting more popular cuz FATE finally quit and left it to people who can actually code. This potentially means more stands and every existing stand will get reworked to catch up to meta. Also, since fate quit, the new devs took up the mantel of working on as many cancelled specs as possible. Sakura stand may be kinda cheeks, but we actually have hope for improvement
The worse is that the last Dev was making a spec with all these cool steps and secret task and precisely said and I quote « there won’t be any RNG event » 1 weeks later they release a banner with 0,5% and no pity with 10 times the cost so it can become pay to win. I think truth be told, it’s just stimulating due to the payoff things have when you spend a long time grinding for something and you obtain it, especially when it’s something that has high value and is hard to obtain. Sakura stand was also reasonably balanced at one point. That was the only reason I stopped playing if you’re curious, the JJK specs lacked balance and since there was so many I was driven away. (I doubt anyone cares but I just figured I would bring up my thoughts)

I remember that my first jojo game that I wish it returned back was Project JoJo. The point of the game was not to just level up, get stands and become stronger, but also have fun in creativity: you could combine numerous amounts of stands with simple subspecs, use holy corpse part to get a random buff or use aja mask to slightly buff your stats (and to remove sunburn for vampires and pillarmen), use requiem arrow to generally buff stats or to evolve Gold Experience and Silver Chariot into their requiem versions and so on. And as for the most interesting part you could add a stand as a sub-ability for your current stand - not your stand's model looked way different, but your gameplay and fight strategy as well. One of my most favourite stand combinations was GER as base and The World as a substand: not only I got ability to revert any damage (except for incoming damage from Tusk Act 4 and over heaven stands), but also I could stop time and at the same time move inside of opponent's stopped time (it was a passive ability of GER back then). It sounds unbalanced, but this is the whole point: you used your imagination to create the strongest set for stand (or a set just for fun), it was not like in modern jojo games where having a single stand granted you extreme advantage.
Sadly, the main game developer stopped updating it and Project JoJo became super laggy.
What I want to say with this message is that jojo games will not be boring if they use creativity over fighting system. And I hope that one day a game with familiar concept as Project JoJo had will appear and resurrect JoJo community in Roblox!

Aut was the most fun roblox jojo game I have ever played. I used to play on a low end pc. It wasn't great but it ruined aut smoothly as well as yba. I had much more fun playing aut because it takes less effort to understand its generic pvp that most other roblox jojo games had. Where you stunned other people and beat them up. People thought that aut was trash because of that and aut tried to make their game like yba yet it still get no players.

the reason why this game blew up is simple. following the trend and putting a gatcha on them. Cid and Sukuna are 1. broken as hell 2. popular as hell. both are locked behind gatcha and another is obtained via grind the minimum of 75 minutes of grind (50% chance for there to be an item spawning from a player and killing said player will drop the item. you need 15 of them). Also, both have flashy explosions. I think you get why the game got popular
The only valid reason is that they followed the trend, them putting a spin on sukuna doesn’t affect anything since you can literally obtain it with a quest. Then the finger system is 50% each 5 mins on a player but they made it way easier with the curses

Sakura stand is basically just a spec grinding simulator with some stands thrown into it
as someone who has way too many hours in the game than one person should ever have. imma tell you rn, basically everything that was said was right. everything is up to chance and a long time waiting. as a random example from the vid, the turtle spawns randomly around the map with set spawnpoints that players NEED TO KNOW (its a small turtle no way your just "finding him randomly") or you have the spawn notifier gamepass. second point, take a guess at WHEN he spawns? at every 2 hour mark. a small turtle that randomly spawns around the map has a 50/50 chance of spawning every 2 hours. the only reason the game suddenly blew up is because sukuna and jjk just being in the game. (side note the main dev, fate, quit the game because of too high expectation and 0 patience from the community, so now theres a new actual dev TEAM. lets see if things get better. rework somewhere around march)

I was a fan of this game back in its alpha release since it was just some mindless fun with no crazy requirements, then a while later they add the mastery system which makes you have to buy things sell things and open chests like 1000 times to get 1 mastery point and made it so everything new has a bullshit 1/10000 requirement or is just boring to obtain and thats when i checked out
Same here, it was harmless fun but then when i realized that every new update required hours and hours of gameplay and i further realized that leaving TinyTask running for 8 consecutive hours Just To Say "i got the new thing" just wasn't doing it for me, especially since in the end, that's what i had to do for Every Single New Thing.

Making or adding the new trendy animes is the Meta for roblox anime games in that last 5 years. I still remember the time when Jojo part 5 was airing and the popularity of the franchise hitted it peek, leading to the release of many Jojo games on roblox. But the Jojo trend has been slowly dying and replaced with many others anime title (demon slayer, jjk, chainsaw man,...). I'm absolutely sure that in next year, we gonna have a tons of Dandadan games and a bunch of dev on roblox gonna add things that relative to Dandadan to their own game.

Sukuna was mostly made since fate (the previous developer) canceled Sukuna, because so many people were hyped before the new devs decided to remake him, they are going to stop with JJK and will go towards other anime’s (the current one being cyberpunk edgerunners), it was annoying to see JJK nonstop, but it finally came to an end (I hope) but I’m sad that Jojo games are dying. (edit: i wouldn't expect much from this game, if eclipse played a bizarre day (abd, which is a stand collector game just like aut, sakura stand, etc with its only purpose being gaining stands and collecting, not for the gameplay or pvp) he would've given the game a worse rating, remember most of these jojo games were abd copies with a twist just like aut, but aut took the game developing seriously while sakura stand even if it does have a high player count, it started as a joke project that gained popularity and players. apart from the long grind for specs to keep players playing, the quality on their recent specs are really good, unlike the stands common normal jojo stands that are practically unused. I can't really hate on a game that makes content from different medias and series, what other game out there has made something from the cyberpunk anime and pulled it off? if you don't like the long grind that is understandable, but its a marketing technique to keep players playing. as for the current community i have no comment, i recall the alpha testers being really nice and overall really cool people. Eclipse, I think games like sakura stand and just crappy games in general nowadays just add whatever is popular at the time for extra players.
Like instead of trying to fix their combat or just add something decent in their game they just add something ridiculous that takes a crap ton of time to obtain which i feel like is for 2 main reasons:
The first one is probably premium payouts. Premium payouts are basically if premium users/players play your game for a while, you get money. (i think this is how it works not sure though)
The second one is probably to just keep players playing their game. An example is one of their previous updates, which they added geto from jujutsu kaisen. Since jjk was getting popular at the time, they added geto which is ABSURDLY hard to obtain and takes a boatload of time to actually get and the point of that i feel like is to just keep people playing for longer so that they can just add some other crappy thing when their players get bored of geto.

As someone who plays this game, the reason why it's so popular is because it's downright simple. Collect box, level up, mastery, breakthrough, repeat. Then after that, you get something you want after grinding and it's just satisfying, even if the game is clearly not the best, the factor of the fanbase being mostly children who love collecting shit in random games could definitely lead up to its success (sorry for terrible English). The way they jump on hype trains such as JJK, Eminence in Shadow, and even Genshin Impact. Even I'm dumbfounded at how little Jojo this Jojo game has. But everyone has their preferences for games, some like actual good PVP games with good obtainment methods while others like a mix of A Bizzare Day with gacha hell (As a degenerate that plays FGO this is the main factor on why I even bother playing this game). (If I end up on a DDOS video I'd like to say hi)
I and my friends have some of the rarer sides of things in this game, but after we get them there really is nothing to do afterward. We just log off and play Valorant or some shit until the next update comes, it's just an endless loop of collecting rare shit, waiting for the next update, collecting update shit, logging off, and repeat. The combat system is also admittedly downright horrendous, I tried playing ranked and 1v1s and I got shat on by some guy that redeemed all the codes and got Cid out of pure luck. I wouldn't say this is a good game, but it's definitely fun when I was playing this with my friends and just messing around in the game. The game overall felt more like a sandbox rather than an actual Jojo game, You should never play this game if you have something fun to do which I clearly don't have anything to.

Also, the game was a single developer passion project, up until Sukuna update, where the developer left due to growing tired of people harassing him, and then he was replaced by a full dev team, and they fucked up with Sukuna update and broke quite alot of things(and Sukuna spec sucks, and made worse than the former solo dev could do)
The new devs didn’t mess up the game, the old developer was using abd modded script and it was very confusing for the new developers to understand. While the Sukuna spec does suck it is incomplete.

I played SS a LOT when it wasn't this much RNG, it's seriously gotten out of hand, look at specs like Cid Kanegou which REQUIRE you to gamble on a 0.5% chance with a 50% so effectively a 0.25% chance, and the BIG selling point about it is it's large nuke that covers like 30% of the map but IT'S LITERALLY A 10 MINUTE COOLDOWN THAT YOU CAN WALK OUT OF. The 10 MINUTE COOLDOWN MOVE can be WALKED OUT OF by ANYONE and if you die before the spawn cooldown ends, GO WAIT AGAIN. Then you have specs like Anubis Requiem which, you need 100% worthiness and be lucky enough to find a thunder ring during a thunder storm, then if you fail the QTE, SCREW YOU, GO GRIND FOR WORTHINESS AGAIN. You'd think you'd get something useful right? NOPE, it's main gimmick USED to be good but people who didn't know how to counter the spec complained to the devs and got it GUTTED. The playerbase is also seriously an issue. They make the ONLY dev quit and then come begging for him back less than 3 days later when they've made a proper dev team. The game was seriously doomed from the start. In conclusion, when it was brand new, it was actually pretty fun with minimal rng but it has gone too far.

I'll be honest, I joined this game near the start of its lifespan and I was pretty happy to see it. It reminded me of ABD, just with a more modern design. Each update brought a new stand or spec, and typically, they were somewhat balanced. I could grab any stand or spec and have a decent time with it. But as this game grew and added more and more anime specs that weren't even from JoJo, it just got so much worse. They added a Gacha system, the balancing got horrendous, and I know that they've started to give extreme bias towards rarer and harder to get stands. It's really depressing honestly. This game was never FANTASTIC, but I could at least say it was good, but I can't even do that anymore. It sucks to see how much worse it's gotten, but not like I can do much about it.
thats what I hate about Sakura Stand. It's a "JoJo game" yet the last JoJo's related update was the heaven update that came out more than a year ago. At this point just call it a JJK game since that's clearly where all the effort is put into. On top of the fact MiH is basically the only stand that is equal to the JJK specs from a development standpoint as all the other stands are uninspiring and boring.

last time sakura stand added/updated something jojo related ( the entire point of the game ) was ages ago because of all the specs they add. you might as well re-name the game to spec stand because its no longer jotaro vs dio, its shinra vs sukuna vs gojo vs a random anime character from some anime ive never heard of vs deku vs luffy. Similar to AUT, who to my knowledge, is adding Gojo (or updating because I think he was already in the game,) Yuta, and Toji.
But I gotta ask, why? Is it fever from the devs over JJK? Are the players asking for it? Has it been in the making for a while?
Well, I think that similarly to what I think is the case for Sakura Stand, it's due to three reasons.
1. Developers wanted to add JJK stuff, so they did.
2. To boost the numbers of a 'dead' game (considering average roblox numbers for the more popular anime-based games on roblox and AUT's player spike then swift downfall upon release of the 'New Universe,') by riding current hype trains.
3. money
I think it's both 2 and 3 with a bit of 1 mixed in. Since:
1. They both started off with JoJo as a base then built off of it by adding more stuff, either out of passion.
2. Slapping Goku, Gojo, Sans, etc onto the cover of a game is a really good way to draw in about 2-4k players at least.
3. AUT having skins and Sakura Stand having a gacha system both imply wanting to monetize a free game and suck some money out of the playerbase as both systems require some sort of 'premium currency.' (Like in most mobile and modern games with diamonds, gold, etc.)
However, I feel as if the devs just dug in their heels and tried to make something unique and fun, they'd see a lot more permanent players instead of having to rely on the constant highs and lows riding a hype train provides.
But the majority of Roblox players are kids; And these kids are really easily to exploit out of their money and attention. So, taking tactics to abuse that is ultimately what a lot of devs are going to prefer to do. Either out of need or necessity. A need/want to make bank or the desire to get their game they put genuine time and effort into out there.
The exception to this is Deepwoken. It's unique, you can feel the care in it, it's generally mostly free besides some small yet annoying stuff like race rolling and such. I really want to like the game, but as a solo player, I can barely enjoy the game if every time I try to play I get jumped by people who get a weird thrill out of ganging up on newer players.

As someone who is still suffering grinding for Cid on SS, this is pretty much right. I can think of 7 “guaranteed” stands/specs you can get without grinding forever and only about 4 of them are actually really viable. This game is basically 2019 YBA for me, I enjoy how the pvp goes (however AUT like it may be) and I mainly just hop on ranked and that’s it. There are unbalanced specs for sure (fuck geto) but nothing on the level of 2019 YBA SCR.

Also the downside of getting the speed and jump boost is that toji only has 275 hp which makes him the 3rd most frail spec in the game followed by the ofa stages (not usted on pvp ever) and padoru (it's a troll spec)

The crazy thing is, I remember playing this game some time ago, whenever it first came out/gained traction, and I realized about 30 minutes in that it was the same fundamental gameplay as ADB: Wait for thing to randomly spawn> Use said randomly spawned thing to get a item(bonus points if getting that item has RNG)> Use item to get new ability/skin/spec/whatever bullshit> Repeat. This was the "gameplay" pioneered by games like ABD and Project JoJo. These games are nostalgic to some, but they are objectively bad games, with boring mechanics. And Sakura stands is no different, just with flashier graphics, shinier buttons, and different gimmicks. It's crazy to me that this game could've become popular out of the blue, without changing anything, and being the same game as ABD to begin with. If you're a legitimate Sakura stands player/enjoyer still reading this, I want you to ask yourself, what is so good about this game? Is it the combat? I guarantee you could find something more engaging like dark souls or any 2d fighting games. Is it the skins? Not really gameplay, just more grinding, but for something that is even less valuable than a digital punch ghost. Is it the collectathon? I'd personally recommend something in the real world if you're so interested in collecting things... Is it just the fact it's a cool character/stand you like and you want to use all the cool moves? I guess I can't blame you, but there are fancier looking games, I'll say that. I think people are just tired of YBA combat man. Complain all you want and all, but no one is going to play TCA for gameplay anymore, just skins. Most of the YBA clones aren't even updating regularly enough for most people to consider playing it to be worth it.

It's so confusing to me that I've seen barely anyone say anything bad about Sakura Stand. Like the majority of roblox JoJo content creators are slaves to this game
Also, with JJK hype being at an all time high right now, it's not surprising that they capitalized on the hype. Of course, without the pandering to the JJK fandom this game would have absolutely no leg to stand on, because there's literally nothing to do but grind for abilities on hours on end. No matter how hard this game tries, it will never grow beyond its ABD roots. That is, if their even trying lmao, which is doesn't seem like it.
As someone who has been playing Sakura Stand for over a year, I can confidently say, YES, the game kinda sucks. Pvp is unbalanced for the most part and the game is mostly based on rng or long grinding. BUT, the reason it has more players than YBA (I'm assuming) is due to the fact that the only thing you can really do after beating the YBA storyline is: SBR, 1v1s or skin grind (and we all know how horrible current yba pvp is and the dogshit trade values.) But in the case of Sakura Stand, sure it doesn't have a storyline, but there are WAY more things to do in it than YBA. I'm not saying you have to agree with this opinion of mine but I have played both games for well over a year (been playing YBA since Jan 2021 and have been playing Sakura Stand since October or November 2022.)

Hit the nail on the head, nice video. Since the pandemic (this seems to be when jjba majorly took off at least to me, as everyone was playing jjba roblox) the games have massively fallen off. Stand upright seemed good back then during the pandemic as nobody had anything to do except waste time, but once everything went back to normal the game had absolutely nothing to go off of besides "wow i have a leg stand look guys". All of the jjba games ive seen and played have the same rng grindfest setup that makes them really boring. Then the original stand upright got closed, and a few months after that, ABD went as well. Most jjba games have lost their original touch as they just slapped short term measures of who was popular at the time just kicked the can down the road instead of addressing the core issues: The games are boring grindfests that you have to spend way too much time on. Once you get what you want, there's no point in playing anymore as you've already done what you wanted I feel. Seems jjk is the trendy anime right now, but time will tell if jjk games will follow the same path.

As someone who has played sakura stand since it first released, since before the revamp, since before everything. I can say that this individual couldn't be spitting more bars and facts. The game is mid, it's a constant gamble where you wake up AFK for 3 hours while you scroll on YT Shorts, come back to nothing new, kill all the bosses on the map, AFK for 3 more hours, rinse and repeat. I hate the direction games on the platform have gone these days and thank god someone's speaking up about it now.
Y'know, I was so hyped up when Cid Kagenou spec was announced for this game, so hyped that I "played" Sakura Stand non-stop for almost a week. And when it came out, it's locked behind an RNG wall. Wow, what a great game.
How did it take you so long to realize
@@giornogiovana6949 he was playing the game before the Cid spec came out and he grinded for ingame items that could POTENTIALLY be useful for Cid but instead of Cid being an easy to obtain spec, if you actually want to obtain Cid you are forced to use alts to roll for it on the banner because its a banner spec. To obtain its purely based on RNG
Tbh i prefer rng banner than the original idea of Fate making it only obtainable for 50 people but it would be way better if it was a quest (not the old one) instead of a bannner
@@bugsbunny7997 it was gonna be WAY worse than the banner we have now. The requierments to get the quest were have breaktrough 2 (to get 1 breaktrough you need to get mastery 15 and to get mastery you need level 50). Step 1 was doing some puzzles then the frist part of step 2 was gonna be do some more puzzles and at the end of step 2 you we're going to "sacrifice" one of your friends (your friend had to have bt 2 for it to work and when you sacrifice them they lose 2 bt, they be cant "sacraficed" again and can't do the cid quest anymore) Then the final step was gonna be survive 24 hours in public servers whiout dying once while the WHOLE server was going to hunt you down and the game across all servers gives a message when you join a public server + you are marked where you are at in the map. And if you die you gotta start all over from step 1. And only 50 people could get the cid spec.

Honestly from what I think is that it kinda like how you sometime having fun with old Aut combat like the TWHV video and such back then, it's sometime fun with busted long combo that you figure out than running around getting:
-perfect block nonstop by really high skilled players.
-people dash, hyperarmor, counter mid-combo thanks to Roblox latency and players lag
Those 2 rather than just stuns from long combo.
I don't hate new combat much but it's just so annoying to get pb-ed too much. Things was funnier when it's simple rather than too competitive.
I don't even enjoy big AoE broken dmg though, it's too brain dead and not fun. So I suppose somewhere between TCA, old YBA or new AUT combat (before ascension update) and stun simulator combat is where the mark hits.
Yea it does sound like big Skill Issue but again, not everyone can master this combat, getting bullied while learning is dis-motivating as heck and not everyone has top-of-the-line connection. As for myself, Roblox took down most if not all Region that are close to Canada so I have to play with regions from south of US ffs.

sakura stand is getting more popular cuz FATE finally quit and left it to people who can actually code. This potentially means more stands and every existing stand will get reworked to catch up to meta. Also, since fate quit, the new devs took up the mantel of working on as many cancelled specs as possible. Sakura stand may be kinda cheeks, but we actually have hope for improvement

The worse is that the last Dev was making a spec with all these cool steps and secret task and precisely said and I quote « there won’t be any RNG event » 1 weeks later they release a banner with 0,5% and no pity with 10 times the cost so it can become pay to win. So yes this game is indeed kinda stinky.

I think truth be told, it’s just stimulating due to the payoff things have when you spend a long time grinding for something and you obtain it, especially when it’s something that has high value and is hard to obtain. Sakura stand was also reasonably balanced at one point. That was the only reason I stopped playing if you’re curious, the JJK specs lacked balance and since there was so many I was driven away. (I doubt anyone cares but I just figured I would bring up my thoughts)
