- This week we jump in the Recon boat of Steve Genson with Genson's Fish Hunts Guide Service to see if we can fool a few late summer/early fall musky. Turns out we could and managed to put 3 in the net in about 8 hours on the water. The Hell Hound by Drifter Tackle and the 9" Suick did the trick this day. With which rod do you fish the hellhound?
Steve uses the St Croix Legend 7'6" XH "The Jerk". You could get a different 7'6" XH rod for a more economical price that would work well also. We sell many of the Tackle Industries rod for this application. Thanks for watching and good luck fishing
