Don’t ever shift your gears like that without turning the cranks otherwise yoh will be one of those idiots complaining your gears don’t shift right because you stripped the cables by doing what you did in the video.
Yeah, looks U are professional. This is a edited video. We know when the bike is still, there is no problem if geared up firstly then gear down. Thank you for pointing out.
Funny that, been doing that for years and not stripped a cable, the shifter cable fray from overtightening on the derailleur nut!
@@Qualisports sorry but I was a actual bike machanic for years and it was something people constantly brought their bikes in because it didn’t shift correctly and we constantly found the cables all stretched out or loose because they almost for certainly pulled the shifter without peddling at the same time and dry shifting it. So sorry I had many costumers come in with this problem. Your one individual who may or may not being honest here I had 100’s of customers who came through with this problem. So basically I experience far more people than you as a single individual making this argument.
