Thanks Bruh! Loved seeing it in a different perspective with my longboard this time around. I'm always just driving through. Hope these SD vids catch steam!
I love your shirt. I'm from National City myself. I grew up on the ocean. We had a commercial boat and fished for tuna and sharks. Good times. We had a space to dock in glorieta bay.
Learned from Action Kid about you. Loved your video of San Deigo. If possible coulld you do stream of Naval Base and Hotel Top of the Mark. My dad is WWII Navy vet and would love to just see it one more time. He is 85 yrs young. Thanks.
Fun and informative video!I lived in San Diego from 1988-1992.I visted Coronado quite a bit.I love the hotel Del,the beach, and there was a Chinese restaurant that was good I loved how you showed quite a few of those large beautiful houses.I'm sure they are worth millions.
This is my favorite beach! My daughter and I sat and watched the sunset on Coronado Beach 🥰 last November! It was beautiful! My family and I also enjoyed the hornblower cruise last summer! Thank you for another great video! Keep them coming!
Super expensive. Lived there 40 years and finally had enough of the high cost of living. great to visit but unless you are loaded$$ just plan a nice vacation there
Oooh, I love Mootime😊 and I'm glad you mentioned the base traffic. Also good to note that there's traffic onto Coronado In the early morning til around 7:30-8:00
Every time we go to Coronado Island, we just go and see just the Hotel del Coronado. I didn’t know there’s more to explore. We will go there next week and check out also Miguel’s Cocina and order some flautas! Thank Jay Uncle Johnny
There is a dedicated bike path from Imperial Beach up to The Hotel Del on the east side of the strand You have the bay on one side and the beach on the other
Hey I loved everything you had to say in that short clip about Coronado … But there’s so much to add for example when you were going towards the Hotel Del on the right are big clumps of grass in the sand and from the sky you can see that it spells out Coronado. Some of those beautiful mansions on the left side of the beach are places where presidents such as Clinton Bush etc. and you passed one of them- even the Duke of Windsor had a special cottage right there on the hotel Del which is why that grass that you passed is called Windsor lawn. Anyway there is so much detail about Coronado that’s fun to learn about Dash like the year the bridge was built in 1969 which was the end of the ferry across the bay… But seriously you’re a lot of fun to watch and you covered a lot of info!
Took my boyfriend to this beach so he could see the ocean for his first time. Loved it. We have since gotten married and want to go back and stay at the Del for our very belated honeymoon. 🙂
GOOD VIDEO checked out your san diego things including this - headed here/san diego for 4 long days beginning sunday to late wednesday havnt been since 1998
Thanks for the tips. Can't wit to get here. Guess I have to wait some bit. It's gonna be raining soon in san Diego. Luv that you are wearing summer outfit :)
Much appreciated Patrick! More SD vids to come. I really want to return to Barcelona as soon as its safe to travel and Americans can return. Are you there right now?
`Nadolife ! Used to work at the coffee cart that's on ferry landing. Nice place to go in the morning before the hustle and bustle to get a hot coffee, a pastry, and watch the bay.
Looks like there is so much to check out around where you made this video. How often do you visit this particular area? Please join us too on our travels around fun places in Singapore. :) Hope to see more from you.
8:18 The house that The Clinton's used to vacation at while he was President. (His "camp david") Also, the owner (while being the United States Ambassador to Switzerland) also owned the Hotel Del Coronado. Look him up. Larry Lawrence.
Coronado Beach is my go to... body surf beach.. The mounds on the beach across from the beautiful Victorian houses spell the word Coronado. Can only be seen if your flying above the beach. Need to try Miguel's next time I'm in Coronado. Thanks for the tips...
Nice video on Coronado I lived there for about six years. Coronao is not an island it’s a peninsula. It’s connected to the mainland by Imperial Beach. It’s not the Coronado Bay Bridge it’s the San Diego Bay bridge. My husband and I loved MIGUEL’s and went there often so I was glad to see it’s still there. And while I’m at it it’s called a Hotel Del Coronado not the Hotel Del. LOL.
I had heard about the "Hotel del Coronado", but i thought it was in the city of San Diego. I didn't know this island existed!!! By the way, it really is a beautiful island!
I am going there this month staying at Hotel Del Coronado. I would love any tips on things to do, what to see, what is worth spending money and what is not worth it.
My mom and dad were stationed on north island so I grew up in imperial beach and my mom tells me about the restaurant all the time. There’s a really good restaurant that does like a brunch classical/ jazz music in Point Loma we use to go to all the time I forget the name though
The best thing to do is have a good lunch In old spaghetti factory and head to Coronado island and enjoy the island I went in a date it was awesome specially at night!!!
Your video looks really stable. What type of stabilization do you use? Gimbal or something built into your video equipment? Making a return visit to San Diego next summer but it will be my first time in Coronado, so thanks!
Thanks Andy! I use the DJI Osmo Pocket for stable shots... being on my electric skateboard also helps with smooth movements. Hope u enjoy your trip to SD next summer! Where are you from Andy?
Love all of your videos! So helpful and informational! Out of all the towns near San Diego, what would you say is town with the best beaches in walking/biking distance that is the most reasonably priced for renting?
Thanks Keira! Everything in North county is pretty pricey but u can find places in Encinitas for a decent price and they have so many places nearby. Pacific Beach is the least pricey but still expensive lol
I’ve been to San Diego a hand full of times, about a 2 hour drive without traffic so like 4 hours lol. My future in laws booked my honeymoon here and I’ve never been. With Covid we wanted to go somewhere we could drive to since our trip we had planned to Hawaii earlier in the year was canceled because at the time they wanted us to quarantine for 14 days in our hotel, we had 10 days so that went out the window. So now I’m looking up videos to see what it’s all about on Coronado island. You did a great job and I can’t wait to see it for myself.
haha you're right about a 2 hour drive turning into a 4 hour drive! So I take it youre from the LA area? Ahh Hawaii, I heard that they have a faster testing protocol now so that you don't have to quarantine when you get on the island. I hope to go soon! Coronado is great, it's quiet right now and places are open. Mostly everyone follows mask protocols so I felt safe walking around there. I appreciate the comment and enjoy Coronado!
If you rent a bike can you park it at the beach and enjoy the beach for a bit? I scared it would get taken. I would like to rent a bike and bike around but also relax and the coronado beach.
PSSST! You missed something! The Starbucks Reserve (almost looks like a regular Starbucks) that serves Jamaican and Hawaiian coffee. You have to request that you want it brewed by the rare Clover Machine (if you know, you know).

Plan on spending our anniversary in San Diego soon. Do you recommend Coronado or mission bay. Debating between Bahia hotel, catamaran and hotel del Coronado. Your opinion would help a lot!
We regularly vacation in La Jolla and always spend time in Coronado. Not that far of a drive to downtown SD or Coronado (maybe 25-30 minutes) from La Jolla.
Coronado is so beautiful.. you really dropped a lot of knowledge in this one !! Great job Jay. You'll be the King of San Diego within a few months.

This is a great thorough review of Coronado! I always wanted to rent one of those lovely Victorian houses and ride bikes all over the island😀😀
Thanks! You should rent that victorian house with the bright red roof! Right next to the beach entrance.
This is my favorite beach! My daughter and I sat and watched the sunset on Coronado Beach 🥰 last November! It was beautiful! My family and I also enjoyed the hornblower cruise last summer! Thank you for another great video! Keep them coming!

@@Jaycation Yes I did. It was quiet on a week day. I spent around 4 hrs exploring Coronado and street parking was 25c per hour.
