I have had these since there initial release and I absolutely love them so much so I find them superior to my Bose ultras. The gen 2 to me seem to have superior clarity to the ultras, I mainly use them for the gym and I’ve rarely had them over half way volume wise to cut out the booming music of the gym. My only negative so far is I’ve consistently had the rubber seal that secures it in your lobe slip off on one of the ears , I’ve lost it twice now and found it twice on the gym floor
Cmon, you can’t list as a dislike that other earbuds don’t use the same good app :D but the fact that you have to look that far in order to find a dislike makes me believe these are the real deal.
@@ronontech aye, but my iPhone doesn’t offer anything better than aac anyway so I am fine with that. They look pretty compelling to me, like the better ultras.

I just picked up a pair of these buds and so far so good, I have Apple and Android, and it switch back and forth with no problem. I had the new galaxy 3 bud but they kept falling out of my ears no matter what tips I used so I saw this video and decided to try these because I gave my son my first generation buds and he still have them an use them everyday so I'll see how it goes.Cool review👍🏽😎👍🏽
@ronontech bro I ended up returning that one and getting the Bose quietcomfort ultra because the call quality was bad , but come to find out that's a Bose thing, so for now I'll see how it goes cause these are bad too on my android phone but on my iphone I turned on voice isolation and it works fine
Man for 180 these might be the deal to get. Almost the same ANC, same ultra comfort and a new app? This seems like a killer value. Fredo did a review and had the same thoughts you did too.
Status 3ANC rules this price range sir. Don't fall prey to marketing. Status has terrible app and no special codecs. They are just supremely well tuned multiple driver buds.
When Listening to you videos there is a high pitch static sound in your videos that you can here while your talking. It's in all your videos whether I'm watching on the TV or my phone. Not sure if you know or not but thought I would let you know.
Yeah, I don't really understand why they have a totally different app for these headphones and then they don't seem to support the other surround sound codex. No Atmos or Spatial audio?
Is the ANC better than the x5? My x5's lately have started to show diminished ANC. I think because i use them at the gym. I might have to just stop using my expensive buds at the gym regardless of the ip rating.
@@thewavefafahey thanks for reply but I'm already 9.98 % gonna get the ultras before posting lol. I have so many of these buds it's crazy. Not as many as Ron but more than any sane person should have.
The ultras didn't work out for me, but I'm still gonna give these a go. I was really hoping to get that legendary bose noise cancelling. What's up with them releasing without snapdragon sound? What in the world?
Please tell me about this, there is a warning on the box saying this earbuds using coin battery and may get heated or explode, pls explain this because I was worry when I saw it
IMO no. They were just renamed as QuietComfort. So, they would be the second generation of the original earbuds. The QC II was a complete revamp in design.
@@ronontech Im talking about specifically NC. I don't think immersive mode has anything to do with NC lol besides, per Bose website, immersive mode will be coming to the 2024 QC soon anyway, so aside from that, is there any slight difference in NC between these and the Ultras? Seems like everyone who owns the new QC say it's the same exact hardware.
@sinigangpapi3379 I disagree about the Immersive Mode. It does make a difference. You can actually hear the difference. As far as its basic NC, I would still put the Ultra slightly ahead of the QC G2.
@@ronontech idk what you're talking about man what are you disagreeing with me about? Lol I said nothing about immersive mode being better than the other. Nice earbuds Ron so confused how these have wireless charging multipoint out of the box. But the qc ultras did not have wireless charging and you had to wait for an update to get multipoint. But no google fast pair is downgraded from the ultras. And the app look like the skull iq for the rail anc you reviewed
Yeah. They did listen to us on a few things. But took away others (fast pair, hi-res codecs) so it will not compete with their top tier products (Ultras).
@@ronontech I think these new QC can compete with the Ultras especially being at the price point it's at while still keeping their legendary ANC on it. Not having fast pair and high res codec shouldn't keep it away from competing with other earbuds that's silly lol I mean mic quality is much better on the new QC than the Ultras and it cost over a $100 less. how is the fit compared to the qc2 and ultra's? The stock ear tips just don't work with my ears.

What?! Gen 2 ?!?! Bose gen 2?!? Haha never heard about those. Thank you ron i am listening carefully 😊
No problem. I see Sony dropped some new buds now too.
$179 is a bargain compared to the ultra's. Wireless charging is huge for me.
