Thanks for the cleaning tip! I was sitting covered in flakes! But the dryer sheet works well. I use spray adhesive when I use gilded flakes. It works great!
I have a tip. Get a box....like one u would use for spray adhesive or paint spray. Set ur jar of gilding flakes and project in the box, then apply the flakes on while it's inside it. It'll contain the mess so u can save what u usually throw away, and it'll keep everything from flying all over the place. It's been a lifesaver because I love to use gilding flakes on anything I can get my hands on. I even use this tip for my art journals since a book will fit the bottom. I keep one box for sprays and one that is only for gilding. Another tip....use a swiffer cloth for cleanup. This works for gilding flakes, glitter and other tiny particles such as embossing powder. It also works on ur hands. I hope this helps someone! This is gorgeous by the way!!! 😉
Absolutely lovely!! Yes I do make him cards we just celebrated 27 years! I made him a cute whimsical style this year. Happy anniversary to u and me HH!! and I pray for ur baby to regain her strength and feel better!! Xo hugs
Love the way you made this card with the gilding flakes. My first try I had my fan on and it went everywhere. I do believe I still see gilding flakes in my craft room. Your card came out beautiful. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful week.
The card is lovely. I like to use at least 3 layers of my die cut words to raise it up. I’ve never used the tacky paste. I’ll have to get some so I can use flakes with my stencils. I LOVE my Tim Holts glass mat! Thanks for sharing.

Gilding flakes are my nemesis!! You make it look easy, I will have to give my gilding flakes another go with a dryer sheet! Thanks for sharing!
That's lovely!
LOL, love the little pink car!!!

That's a lovely effect. My gilding flakes always end up messy
Absolutely stunning!!
Beautiful!
Great tips! TFS!
To pick up flake bits, use dry Swiffer Sweeper cloths. They also work great for picking up rogue glitter.
I love the card! And your nails!! Happy Anniversary!
Thanks so much!
Really lovely card Alex... Happy anniversary to you both. We are 22nd of July and I always make a card. xx
Very cool!
Thank you for the support in how to tame Gilding Flakes! LOL :O)
very pretty
I wish Nuvo would come out with new colors gilding flakes . I love using the flakes but different colors would be great .
Try Creative Expressions, they do a wide range of colour ways
Happy anniversary, we will celebrate 47 years on August 28 and I make a card for Lee. He thinks I’m artistic, what a lovely husband I have.
I wish they would make different colors of Gilding Flakes .
Happy Anniversary
Thanks Wendy
I don’t understand why you added the second color of gilding flakes. Once you did that, you lost the pattern from the stencil.
