Thanks for this! Just did my G test today and passed! Route was kinda similar but the examiner took me to the highway first. She was very nice and actually informed me of the speed limits! After exiting to Airport Rd, the small stretch of road before going back to the highway is actually a 70 zone. The school zone was a 50 zone. Also, there’s construction on the highway right now so going in from The Parkway, it’s an 80 zone, not 100. You’ll have to switch lanes twice because at one point only one lane is open. Going back into the highway, the speed is 100, then you’ll slow down to 80 because of the construction again.
I have my G test in Peterborough in a few days and am very nervous! I’m a confident driver but have anxiety that make tests very stressful and makes me more prone to mistakes. Hoping I pass 🙏🏻
This video helps me a lot! I passed my G test today and the route was a little different from the video. The highway is under construction right now. Speed on airport road is 80km/h after exiting airport road is 70, after stop sign is 80. speed on parkway is 100km/h, then there will be construction sign, after the sign quickly become 80. don't worry if you can't remember these speed, because your examiner will tell you the speed in advance. I had my test this week and the route was different. The only part that was the same as this video was the highway. This video is really helpful with all the tips but I would recommend not to focus too much on the route as it might change depending on the examiner. During my test, I didn't get any information about the speed limit of the streets as I've seen in other videos or comments. Thank you for creating this content and the skills videos.

One of my friends test was cancelled because he didn't wear his spectacles/ contact lenses on the day of the test while the licence showed a X mark, which means he has eye power. Please ensure that you wear your specs/ lenses during the test else it will be cancelled.

Erskine Avenue, as you turn has no posted speed limit , so do you go at 50km and slow down to 40km as soon as you see the yellow school sign ? Pls advise as many videos give contradictory information. Some say to go at 50km and some say 40km . It’s very confusing. Which is the correct speed by law ?

I was taken on different route for the city but the highways exits were the same and I was failed in the test because first the examiner told me to go in left lane and come back after changed my lane to left the person who was behind me and came next to me and as my exit was approaching i had my right signal on but the car next to me didn't game me space i tried speeding up and the car simultaneously accelerated and so i had no option then to slow down from 100 to 90 and on that my examiner failed me.giving my next exam in coming days hopefully will go through this time.

It's 40 in a school zone. 50 where there is no posted speed limit.

Yes, but you cannot rely only on it. You need to use the mirrors and turn around to look behind.
