The immediate middle-east war sequel book War in the Desrt by Stephen Molstad and the prologue of the movie prequel book Silent Zone goes into great detail about the City Destroyers. The sequel movie failed to do them any justice.

I thought something similar. When we had that big dude; DeObia Oparei's character, alluding to the fact that across Africa, he successfully led an infantry campaign with hand-to-hand combat and specifically that you had to attack the bozos from behind. . . I was thinking in the theater: "Literally where is THAT movie? I'd kill for a movie that is like Tears of the Sun on steroids."
