Unpopular opinion but I don't actually like Mario's fair all that much. Don't get me wrong it's an incredible move, it's just almost too good. The fact you can consistently combo into it and the fact it's so strong with manageable end-lag just feels like a little bit much on such a mobile character y'know? That and the animation feels a little bit dated. The arm swing just kind of slowly follows an arc, it doesn't really go any faster after the wind-up. Still, literally every Mario will go for it and there's a reason why.

It's mostly because the move is insanely active for a spike and Mario moves fast in the air so he can SD if he does it too low. It's overall just a long aerial I don't consider that to be particularly bad or good so I didn't include it.
I hate pyra and mythra so much why tf does she just win for free because she used her foresight like literally the only reason she won in that interaction 😭
Honestly? Not overly impressed at spikes like this when you're up stocks on your opponent. Like what exactly are you risking when it's 3-1 and you go for that Mario fair deep off stage?
