BTS Stands for Bangtan sonyeondan, which roughly translates to 'Bulletproof boyscouts'. BTS has 7 members, 3 of them rappers (RM, Suga, J-Hope) and 4 vocalists (Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook). Concerning this 'main one' you talked about; they're are a quite balanced group (at least in my opinion) and when it comes to dividing the song among them, they try to give everyone equal parts. They do however have different roles in the group, so for the dancing formations there will be members that are in the front more often. Officially Jungkook is the center of formation most since he's not only the lead vocal but also one of the main dancers, Jimin can also be seen in the front of the formation quite often since he is main dancer and main vocal, and J-Hope too since he's the lead dancer. Despite that, normally the one singing/rapping is obviously in the middle, the "spotlight" so to speak and it changes throughout the song and depends on the song. When you watch videos of them in interviews, especially the English ones, you will notice quickly that RM is the one talking most of the time since he is the official leader and spokesperson of the group and the only one fluent in English, though the rest tries their best and is learning English. Unlike a lot of other K-Pop and western artists, BTS writes and produces most of their music themselves. Also, K-Pop doesn't stand for Korean Pop as one genre but more for Korean popular music since there are a variety of different genres. BTS also can't be defined by one specific genre, they do all kinds of experiments with genre and style and just want to make music they like. Most of their official MVs have English captions for you to understand the lyrics, so make sure to turn them on. The lyrics are a huge part of BTS, a lot of fans especially like BTS because of the deep and meaningful lyrics that also talk about issues like mental health, self love, criticism on society,... Also, their lyrics, concepts and MVs have a lot of symbolism and are often connected, we call it the BTS verse, there are literally THOUSANDS of theories of it...
