2Pac died shortly after he began dissing Dr. Dre so there really wasn't enough time to respond to him if Dr. Dre was ever even going too but Dr. Dre did choose who to talk tough to because he dissed Jermaine Dupri who everyone knew wasn't a threat but wouldn't diss Suge Knight or anyone on Death Row even though they had been dissing him. In Eminem's song Say What You Say, Dr. Dre says Jermaine Dupri don't belong speakin' his or Timbaland's name and that he sees what he's saying in interviews and that he's a giant that ain't gotta move 'till he's provoked but Dr. Dre wouldn't talk like that to Suge Knight who had been dissing him since he left Death Row Records so all that tough talk Dr. Dre was doing meant nothing. Even Snoop Dogg called out Dr. Dre, Eminem & Xzibit in a 2003 interview where he said he doesn't like how everyone is ganging up on Jermaine Dupri and suggested that they also talk shit to Suge Knight as well because Suge Knight is smashing on them and they aren't saying anything to him but they're ganging up on Jermaine Dupri who's not a threat so if they are going to say something then they need to say something about everybody who's getting at them and to keep it fully and not just do it half way. Dr. Dre moved the needle more in Hip Hop, BUT Jermaine Dupree was more innovative and experimental. JD inspired other innovators in the game with his “throw away” content. That says a lot. Tim Alan’s was also an innovator. He came out with that “basement” sound in 1992, and the world wasn’t ready for it until 1998. The greatest producer in Hip Hop is Kanye West, though. That’s the “Golden One”. He moves the needle, innovates, experiments, and changes the culture all by himself.
I'm happy that both men are cool now. Btw it's crazy how no one ever talks about how Dr Dre called JD a PedOVO with that little kids hanging around the back yard swimming pools. Crazy times. All three are dope producers but JD is the most consistent out of the three. Can't knock his resume. And this is coming from the biggest Dr Dre mark ever.
I will say JD is very overlooked and under appreciated in the hip hop industry as far as producers … I don’t think he touching Timbos catalog but as far as Dre, I did hear that he didn’t always produce everything he put a stamp on
Yeah but that’s like saying Quincy Jones wasn’t playing every instrument for every record he did. The people that Dre have collaborated with all made their best records with Dre. Plus Dre is probably the best engineer ever. Timbaland also had Danja with him during that Nelly Furtado / JT Futuresex Lovesounds era.
@@takeover5478 yeah I get what you saying, but I get what those people are saying too as far as Dre taking other producers beats … Even Ye was credited for taking other producers beats as the main producer … Never heard of these types of rumors with JD I’m just saying
Jermaine Dupri produced hip hop AND R&B HITS. It’s also known that Dr Dre didn’t even produce all of his beats alone AND Timerland always had 1 kind of sound. People deciding off of popularity.

It's Jermaine tryna be gangsta when he had a jheri curl and was pop locking in Whodini video we know he was at diddy parties for sure with them socks and purses 😒😒
I thought back in 2022 JD was dissing the man who own rap but Eminem really dissed him No disrespect but I wish Dre found em sooner cuz he would've responded to EazyE E knows nothing about eminem and em a battle rapper so it'd be harder
Eminem wasn't even a good rapper at the time Dr. Dre was beefing with Eazy-E in 1992. He didn't have the Slim Shady persona and he wasn't able to rap well like he did after his second album. The 1999 - 2002 Eminem that your thinking about didn't exist in 1992. When Eminem released his first album Infinite in 1996 he sounded like AZ. Also Eazy-E knew nothing about Snoop Dogg but still was able to diss him really good, Eazy-E was well connected and would've just found out facts on Eminem like he did with Snoop Dogg. Plus Eazy-E had Gangsta Dresta & BG. Knocc Out so Eminem wouldn't have won at that time as he was just developing as a rapper and it wasn't until years later that he became good
@@TERRELLTURNER1999 So does Snoop Dogg. He idolized and looked up to Eazy-E and he said he wanted to be like him in high school but when he was with Dr. Dre they were riding for their team. Just like how Eminem wanted to diss Suge Knight for Dr. Dre but Dr. Dre told Eminem to stay out of that beef even though Suge Knight & Death Row were dissing Eminem too
🤔sooooooooooooooooooo you come out with a song first...will it be the best of the 3? That's how you back him down....can't say dre the best but you'll make better sings than him. Faster...sure what the hell does that equal?
If your referring to Snoop Dogg saying "I'm not Xzibit, you can't pull my hoe card" in his song Pimp Slapp'd, then no because that is referring to when Suge Knight approached Xzibit in the club and Xzibit didn't ride out for Snoop Dogg and let Suge Knight punk him as Snoop Dogg said in a interview "Suge Knight checked Xzibit at a club and asked him, “Nigga, what’s up with you and Snoop Dogg?” And his comments was, “Oh, I only make records with them”. Dre said “10 or 11 year olds” not under 21.
NONE of them outside of Eminem could rap good enough to be dissing eachother 🤷🏾♂️ y’all was supposed to have a DJ Scrath Off 😂
Dr Dre is most classical, 2pac is dead and Suge Knight is resting in prison too. Kudos to D R E G.O.A.T
JD was actually correct
🧐
They didn’t have beef just friendly competition
they had beef?
Imo the greatest producer oat can be either Dr Dre or Kanye
Dre do be taking YEARS to come out with a track and dont write none of his own lyrics tho. Jermaine was lowkey right lol
@@DLumpkins11 I mean somebody called Jd out months ago, but Jd went on live and shut it down. So who knows.
@@takeover5478 fair point, I could stand corrected
unpopular opinion but JD would wash Dre just for the amount of hits JD has
Bro Dre started gangsta rap. He made a street dude a megastar and still relevant today. JD walking around like a black leprechaun at the Superbowl
Saying he would wash Dre is insane.
@@takeover5478 😂
The conversation should always be Dre, Timbo, Jermaine and the Neptunes. Who else changed the game like them??? I’ll wait.
Swizz Beatz, Mannie Fresh, Trackmasters, Just Blaze & Kanye West
Jermaine Dupri produced hip hop AND R&B HITS. It’s also known that Dr Dre didn’t even produce all of his beats alone AND Timerland always had 1 kind of sound. People deciding off of popularity.
Marley marl,teddy Riley/Timmy,Pete rock,Bob cat,devante,qtip,etc
@@camronshean1758Bink cause he birthed Just Blaze and Justice League.
@@GRUSTLER Jermaine Dupri and Bryan Michael Cox and Manuel Seal.
Man produced a song for Jay Z and crowned himself the best producer out 😂
Dr Dre is the greatest hip hop producer his record is undeniable
As Snoop Dogg said in a 2002 Interview "I don't really like how everybody gangin' up on the lil man, you know I'm sayin' but...I'm a lil man too and I always come out on top, you know I'm sayin', when I get ganged up on but my, suggestion to everybody is talk shit to the big man too. 'Cause he smashin' on y'all and y'all ain't sayin' nuttin' to him. But y'all smashin' on JD so if you gon' say somethin' say somethin' about everybody, who gettin' at you. Keep it fully don't do it half-way. And that's just my suggestion" ua-cam.com/video/Ku9hMSe_784/v-deo.html
Remember back in them days downloading them disses off limewire 😮💨 but put some respect on jd name that mane can put a song right faster plus he can write ✍️ hooks and all
Dre met Eazy in the 70s
I remember this this beef felt like a reach it was always pointless to me
What JD said really wasn’t nothing to take as a diss.Pac said way more shyt. You supposed to feel like you’re the best.
JD never worked with lil Kim. That was Da Brat.
Didn’t even know they was beefing fr fr 😅
YOU MISSED THE BEST ONE 👉🏾👉🏾👉🏾 DR DRE : BAD GUYS ALWAYS DIE 🤟🏾
That xzbit diss was savage!
JD actually did respond . He got back at them using their beats . It was called “ Jacking yall beats “ . It was cool , but whatever . Lol . Look it up .
Easy answer…Dre got sick of jd stealing his style & music
JD built his career by biting the West Coast hip hop sound, specifically Dr. Dre/Death Row. I always thought it was crazy he said that.
I remember this beef
It's Jermaine tryna be gangsta when he had a jheri curl and was pop locking in Whodini video we know he was at diddy parties for sure with them socks and purses 😒😒
Jermaine Who-pri?? I really hope Dre said that at some point
I thought back in 2022 JD was dissing the man who own rap but Eminem really dissed him
No disrespect but I wish Dre found em sooner cuz he would've responded to EazyE E knows nothing about eminem and em a battle rapper so it'd be harder
Knocc Out so Eminem wouldn't have won at that time as he was just developing as a rapper and it wasn't until years later that he became good
Eminem wasn’t good at the time plus the world wasn’t ready for Eminem yet and it would of been e be n harder for Eminem to cross over
nah. Em actually has respect for Eazy-E
@@TERRELLTURNER1999 So does Snoop Dogg. He idolized and looked up to Eazy-E and he said he wanted to be like him in high school but when he was with Dr. Dre they were riding for their team. It would've been the same thing with Eminem as he would've rode with Dr. Dre just the same. Just like how Eminem wanted to diss Suge Knight for Dr. Dre but Dr. Dre told Eminem to stay out of that beef even though Suge Knight & Death Row were dissing Eminem too
@@TERRELLTURNER1999 i know wonder why he likes bone thugs
Never knew this even happened lol
Dj yella never spit a rhyme. He was strictly a dj
🤔sooooooooooooooooooo you come out with a song first...will it be the best of the 3? That's how you back him down....can't say dre the best but you'll make better sings than him. Faster...sure what the hell does that equal?
😂
They were hurt because Jumaine Dupri said he was better than them? Shit kind of funny and shows how egotistical the rap industry is.
competitiveness
@@TERRELLTURNER1999 “pettiness” Eminem went ham with a silly diss. Like a bunch of hurt chicks.
🤔let me check...pretty sure jay z wrote money ain't a thang
I don’t think he did.
❤❤
Who the fuck holds a mic like that?
Whoosh!
Jermaine WAS IS AND WILL BE FOREVER ASS
Dr dre are goat
Em and Xzibit killed JD on "My Name"
So did the xzibit diss come about because of this beef? Aww man 😂🔥
😂
If your referring to Snoop Dogg saying "I'm not Xzibit, you can't pull my hoe card" in his song Pimp Slapp'd, then no because that is referring to when Suge Knight approached Xzibit in the club and Xzibit didn't ride out for Snoop Dogg and let Suge Knight punk him as Snoop Dogg said in a interview "Suge Knight checked Xzibit at a club and asked him, “Nigga, what’s up with you and Snoop Dogg?” And his comments was, “Oh, I only make records with them”. Instead of saying, “Oh, that’s my nigga. What’s happenin'” He bowed all the way down. So that’s the reason why I got offended."
