    I really enjoyed seeing your great and complete demonstration. And besides, as a French speaker, your language, although a little too fast for me , is quite understandable. 😉👍

    Hi Mike,
    You have many good turning videos posted. Something that frustrates me is many turner’s videos… and yours never say what the grind angles are for the tools used in the demo. Each spindle or bowl gouge (and size) can be different… as well as the scrapers. Please say what your grind angles are for the tools in your videos.

    Mike, why Mylands instead of GOAT wax? Beautiful bowl. Thank you for taking time to explain as you go along.

    Why are you worried about damaging the wood fibres where your foot/tennon will be?

    Why wouldn’t you use “tree saver” to slow drying?

    • @CraftSuppliesUSA
      @CraftSuppliesUSA  4 місяці тому

      On this particular bowl I wanted to go from partially seasoned to dry in 1-2 weeks. Normally I would coat these with Tree Saver and give them a month or so to dry with a much lower risk of them splitting/cracking while drying. -Mike
