Shoshana is brilliant! I love how she emotes when she sings. Her singing “Make It Rain” is another power ballad that she owns when she sings it!

Shoshana has so many outstanding performances. She has a nice catalog of Originals and remakes both broadway and radio hits (especially some great Barbara Streisand and Whitney Houston songs). She's also worked with so many other great vocalists it's nuts. Her live Ace Hotel version of "Make it Rain" is one of my two favorite performances on UA-cam along with Paolo's "Iron Sky" live at Abbey Road.
You might recognize her from Superfruit's channel she did Pop goes Broadway with Scott and Mitch. She is so amazing. Enjoy !!!

Shoshana is an American singer, songwriter and stage actress. The song was written by Sara Bareilles for the musical „Waitress“. Bareilles explained the story behind this song: "I wrote it for the scene in the movie where the lead character, Jenna, feels like she's lost all hope of saving herself from her terrible situation, and she's reflecting on who she thought she would have become.”
Shoshana is fantastic and this was a tour de force.

Love your, silence at the end of the video, I could see that you were trying to process what you'd just seen, the song and show 'Waitress' were written by Sara Bareilles, Sara was one of the judges on The Sing-Off the year that Pentatonix won

ETA: just wanted to tell you that you have, easily, the best first impression reaction to shoshana i've seen; wonderfully spoken & so very true, from descriptions of her talents to how you felt like you knew the girl she was singing the song about...i completely get that.
