At the last motor fair I went to, I came across a detail that seemed very strange to me. While well-known Japanese motorcycles and other famous brands polished and exhibited their tires, KTM also burned the tires of some of its motorcycles and put them on the stands. When I saw that view, I came to the conclusion that all the employees of this brand are crazy :D (I own the 790 and I am really happy)

1290R (had one,...) to much power and torque only wheelies...on road and track. so you are slow because the rear swingarm is to short so you cant put the power down. the wheeliecontrol of the bike is to much on / off so you bounce to much and go back to rearbrake usage when trying to keep the throttle open.
And now KTM brings a 1390, why?! .... Guys,...make it more ridible, to much torque and short wheelbase is nice for birthdayparty-talk but not if you want to go fast....
I have 2023 1290 sdr evo and can confirm that. You can't keep that front wheel down when you're racing someone, and that makes you slow.

Please make an Adventure motorcycle with the features and equipment of 450 MT made by CF Moto. The fact that the KTM 390 Adventure has a single cylinder and low shock absorber working range is not enough in harsh conditions. It has a power of around 450 cc, has a relatively light weight and is vibration-free enough to travel. We expect a twin-cylinder motorcycle from you. I don't want to buy a brand other than KTM, but it is difficult for a motorcycle as large as the 790-890 Adventure and with a wet weight of over 200kg. We expect an Adventure from you that will meet all the needs of the middle class.
Oh KTM, I've certainly got the cojones... Haven't seen anyone else motocross'n KTM ADV's recently besides myself. I'd LOVE one of those new 890 ADV Rally models to start doin' some Evel Knievel style jumps with in addition to harescramble/motocross events. ;)

Engine 1390 Super Duke CN 2024 suggests it's one that's manufactured in China - presumably at KTM's joint venture factory, established with CFMoto.
