I'm not into minimalism, almost everything I have has a purpose. that is why I have a tough time throwing things away. I find that many Sigma males like to hand craft things such as blacksmithing, wood carving and wood working. In other words, working with their hands and minds together.
Can't remember the last time I was stuck in boredom. I might get bored of something but it is very easy to move on to something else. I've always been very good at entertaining myself.

I will agree with almost all of your points. And that is accumulating stuff. Its not that I hoard things, but it goes towards my next item. My things go to my hobbies, that is where my things go. I have an abundance of woodworking tools which I obviously like to do woodworking. The next bulk items is fishing gear. Which means I like to go fishing. And I like to build some of my own tackle and I tie my own flies. So there ya go! Basically, once again, you hit the nail smack dab center on the head! 😊😊😊
I agree with most of your points. The only two I might disagree with are Minimalism and Dissecting music. I'm only somewhat minimalist and I don't dissect music. Everything else is spot on.
I recently dissected the Red Hot Chilli's song Californication, kind of unplanned and spontaneously. The lyrics, the music, and the video all got some of my sleep deprived attention. 3 nights in a row after work passionately and obsessively breaking down and eventually creating my own take on it. Destruction breeds creation eh. I thought it would be an exciting challenge to record a cover of the song in my mini home studio for fun. I bought the album years ago when it came out as a young lad and am very familiar with the beautiful song that it is and love it dearly. Unravelling the music from my far-from expert or qualified musicians point of reference I found the arrangement and each of the instrument parts straightforward to play, without complexity or overComplicatiooonnns, a sombre soundscape ingeniously and beautifully crafted for the vocals to lay on. Pretty achievable cover for me to attempt being not too intricate musically! I loved this part of the journey. The lyrics have references to topics that the truth seeking warriors amongst us have most likely subjected their sanity to, the control of population, hollywood, psychic spys stealing your minds elation, good juicy conspiracies for those that way inclined. A subtle nod to the edge of the world and space being filmed in a basement was bold and brutal but gave it credence and lured a deeper dive. The video has a lot to take in. So much going on. One thing that stuck out was when Anthony's fictional computer game character fell from the sky and landed on an island into a bed of flowers. Now, bear with me, this is a stretch, and an unwanted disturbing revelation that hopefully I am mistaken in but here goes... so, the games telemetry displays some of the in-game data at the edge of the screen. Displayed are the characters coordinates on xyz axis. As he stands up after landing The z axis displayed 64.8 degrees. The same westerly latitude as that Island somewhat recently in the headlines. The x and y coordinates on the screen do add up to 18.1 degrees ish. Reaching I know but 64.8 degrees west and 18.3 degrees north is the Epshteeen island. I then recalled seeing a supposed flight log some time back and smh. That was when I knew it was time for bed. Original take possibly, wacky definitely. Lovely guitar solo. 5*
Yes, we love anything that deals with depth and meaning. It only shows whom we really are inside, even though most people will never understand nor see what we understand and see.
Having things around that I rarely use gives me anxiety. If it has no purpose, I want it out of my sight, even if it's something really cool or powerful or whatever. If it has no regular use, it's gone. Can't imagine being one of these guys with a collection of seasonal recreational vehicles. Jet ski, snow mobile, atv, fishing boat... yuck.
