I believe it is new. However, if I heard her correctly it seems like they still believe in that but when the unrighteous are resurrected and given a second chance, if they STILL refuse to follow Him THEN they will be annihilated if I understand correctly. Some they say though will never be resurrected, standing AGAINST what Jesus explicitly taught - that ALL will be resurrected. This is such terrible theology!

@@abideintheWord It's not new because we don't believe that at all.
We believe only the unrighteous who did not know Christ will receive a resurrection of judgment ...they will be given a FIRST and only chance to obey Christ and if they obey they will receive everlasting life and if they disobey they would go into everlasting cutting off or everlasting destruction aka the lake of fire and sulphur.
As far as those who knew Christ and disobeyed Willfully it's not for us to decide or affirm who will be resurrected its Jehovah and his son Jesus who will decide who will be resurrected and actually the Bible does indeed indicate that some will not be resurrected & all of our beliefs are based on solid scriptural evidence and reasoning that for the most part is grossly taken out of context , twisted , or misunderstood all together and people take it upon themselves to create a clever narrative and make videos to post on UA-cam spreading misinformation.
The Bible mentions sins that are unforgivable such as blasphemy against the holy Spirit and grieving the holy Spirit ... It says that those who blaspheme against the holy Spirit are guilty of everlasting sin... So there would be no need for them to be resurrected since they have no chance of repentance or forgiveness...
It also mentions souls that are in gehenna which in ancient times was a physical location of a trash dump where they threw dead animal carcasses and the bodies of criminals and trash and burned it in order to destroy it permanently....
Therefore it's very fitting that gehenna is not hellfire but it's actually symbolic for eternal destruction... Those who are pitched into gehenna are destroyed with no chance of resurrection.
So therefore those that are in gehenna right now will not be resurrected...
Likewise those who blaspheme against the holy Spirit wont be resurrected since they are guilty of everlasting sin...
Or do you really believe that Adam and Eve and judas Iscariot will be resurrected...😅
You cannot take one scripture about Jesus saying "all those in the memorial tombs will hear my voice and come out" and then ignore the remaining evidence in other passages ... That's intellectually honest wouldn't you agree?
This is the problem I find with most Christian UA-camrs is they are making a career not from teaching the gospel but simply debating other religious people and making videos discrediting or ''debunking'' people's faith....
We don't waste our time trying to debunk other people's beliefs because it's not loving and right now we are living in the most critical times in history and closer to the end than every before according to Jesus prophetic words in Matthew and revelation , we don't care to debate or debunk anyone.. we only care to spread truth about god and the Bible and to help as many as possible again to repentance and salvation by baptism and faith in Jesus sacrifice and faith in his resurrection.
What people need right now in the world is comfort , hope and to know what the future holds as we face these uncertain and prophetic times where people are suffering terribly all around the world from wars , violence , poverty , mental health issues and more..... Gods kingdom under Jesus rulership will eliminate all causes of suffering and even death itself will be no more and that is the message we urgently preach a message of real hope based on God's promises in the Bible.
Funny you don't see any JW videos on UA-cam debunking other People's religions... We would be slandered and hated and maybe even attacked by governments and opposers...... But people make inaccurate and shady one-sided manipulative videos disguised as some form of unraveling hidden information when they really are just grasping at straws ... And it's ok for them to do this and slander us and speak lies about us.... Just brilliant.

    • @PLSradio369
      @PLSradio369 2 місяці тому +1

Its a terrible theology to believe that the wicked who are undeserving of resurrection will just be eternally destroyed and cease to exist while in the permanent sleep like stage of death instead of unjustly tormented in hell for all eternity for sins you committed for 20-70 years ?
Makes sense .... what kind of loving God wants to torture people eternally for their sins when Romans say the wages sin pays is death... You're already paying for your sins when you die and Paul said that those who die are acquitted of their sin.
It is inconceivable in the eyes of God and the scales of justice and by no means measures fairly when viewed within the standards of justice especially with regard to GODS perfect JUSTICE .... ETERNAL HELLFIRE IS A DEMONIC TEACHING WITH A PEGAN Origin AND something a god of love would NOT do OR even contemplate.... That is something a hateful and unjust sadistic God would do though like Satan the devil...
The doctrine of hellfire has turned so many away from Christ and God... Because it depicts a vengeful and sadistic God who is unjust and cruel and wants to burn you alive forever..

I talked to a satan’s witness and he said that the word torment of smoke of their torments in Revelation 14:11 can mean confinement because when Jesus said how the unforgiving servant was “taken to the tormenters” that is saying he went to jail. Just to add a little, here's what that article states:
"The righteous include faithful people, such as Noah, Sarah, and Abraham. (Genesis 6:9; Hebrews 11:11; James 2:21) The unrighteous include those who failed to meet God’s standards but did not have the opportunity to learn and follow them.
However, those who become so wicked that they are beyond reform will not be resurrected. When such ones die, they suffer permanent destruction with no hope of a return to life.-Matthew 23:33; Hebrews 10:26, 27."
As the scriptures state, it's all those that God deems fit to be resurrected... Jesus spoke of Gehenna.. the bible speaks of the 2nd death. From these there is zero chance of redemption, these ones are not in God's "book of life".
The fantastic thing is, as Hossain read in joh5, Jesus has been given authority to judge. So we don't have to be preoccupied with speculating who will or won't be ressurected. It's in Jesus' hands.

    • @abideintheWord
      @abideintheWord  2 місяці тому

Umm, no that’s not what the Bible says. Why don’t you just believe the word? Jesus says ALL will be resurrected. The watchtower says NOT all will be resurrected. How can you follow an organization that speaks the very OPPOSITE of the word of Jesus? It’s despicable.

    • @FrankLee-gq8yc
      @FrankLee-gq8yc 2 місяці тому

@abideintheWord now you are saying ALL will be resurrected?
Aren't you saying the opposite in your video?
We believe ALL who are in the grave, whom God deems worthy of a resurrection, will be resurrected.
As in, those that are removed from God's book of remembrance, will not be resurrected.. they stay as dust.
      Like Adam.
      Psalm 69:28
"Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous."
David here is asking God to remove their names from his "book".
      What is that book?
      Revelation 3:5
'He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels."
Are ALL remembered? Apparently not. So ALL those in the graves that are resurrected, are obviously ALL those recorded in God's BOOK. The ones he chooses to remember..
That is reassuring as, as mentioned before, Jesus judges so we don't need to.

    • @abideintheWord

@abideintheWord so you believe "second chance" for EVERYONE?
or do you think the resurrection is to awaken the dead to either give them life of throw them into fire?
Do you believe this will happen at a set time? Martha knew Lazarus would be raised "on the last day". And as we see in john5.. "the "hour" is coming"..
I hear so many beliefs regarding what happens when we die, that's why I'm asking.

JW belief of Rom.6:7- where, freed from sin is changed to
" acquitted of his sin" in the New world translation- this is to promote the doctrine of sins paid at death instead of (Jesus sacrifice removing sin)/ being dead to sinning, no longer a slave to sin. Jehovah's Witnesses believe that only the 144,000 are born again and will be in heaven. How do they reconcile that belief with Christ's desire for future believers to be with him where he is? (John 17:24)
The future believers fall into a specific group.
KJV John 17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
That was a little flock and the larger one was to fulfill God’s command to turn the earth into a paradise.
Now why do people ignore very clear scriptures that state man will reside on the earth forever with no death> Who are they???
KJV Psalm 37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. 29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.
KJV Psalm 37:29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.
KJV Proverbs 2:21 For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.
NIV Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
KJV Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
KJV Revelation 212-4 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Not anyone from heaven returning to earth as they are perfect once raised to heaven. Not those on earth,
KJV Revelation 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
Those on earth who are faithful to the end of the 1000 years when Satan is let lose, gain everlasting life ON earth. Those in heaven already have it IN heaven.
Note: above the “healing” takes time, so not speaking of anyone in heaven

Hello there , my questions dont have much to do with this video in particular , but rather a previous one , I have been trying to take my faith more seriously ober the past few months and my questions pertain to one of your videos which topic was basically worldliness . I have been listening to serveral sermons and various pastors about this spesific issue , but the answer always seems kind of vague , almost as if they only want to state what they think is the problem , but yet they leave out the solution even though its more complicated when you actually think about it . I am still in school so many of these things I come across directly and some indirectly , I'm just going to name like a bunch of things I'm confused about , please I'm not trying to be like an annoyance I am just tring to seek some more guidance .First off , videogames , I understand people saying that its worldly to play too much videogames and just forget about all your other responsibilities , but what if you dont make it an idol and just use it as a way to relax and chill, for example after an exhausting day afyer studying and striving for excellence , you know , like the disciples sometimes fished probably just to rest for a few moments. But then also the content it contains , this goes for movies also , I understamd that you shouldnt watch or play things that make you commit sin in real life , but like does that mean I should just toss the TV out all together , because sometimes I find these stories to be quite inspiring and sometimes its like they contain "echoes" of the bible , once again , some pastors say that its ok but some say not thats why I am asking and yes I am familiar with psalm verse that states that you should put no wicked things in front of your eyes , but what if the thing or story in front of you shows for example the wicked being conquered by the good , how could that possibly be bad? . Secondly but this is also intertwined with the previous subject , am I not to allowed to enjoy some sports or should I also completely abstain from it , once again , I understand that if you watch too much its idolatrous and a sin , but arent you allowed at all?
Thirdly , NDE'S , these ofyen confuse me because so many people state they have had NDE'S but sometimes , it doesnt allign with scripture , im not saying all of them , because some of them sound genuine , but does that mean that because they got a second chance to fix their lives that I will too?
Fourthly and most importantly , salvation , I heard about this statistic according to Howard Pittman , who funnily enough was enlightened about this during an NDE , said that about like 2,9 percent or something like that of all people will go to heaven , I know that it is said that you should strive hard for the path is narrow and few there be that will find it , but really , if that number is true , how could possibly experience peace on this earth , I know that I must fear the Lord and I do , but this makes my fear so much more than I think my love is for him , also I am scared that I am commiting sin , without knowing it and I know that in 1 of you videos you said that you must instantly turn away from sin because it is said that you must go and sin no more , but what if what I deem to be okay , is sin without me knowing it? And yes I read various religious books and obviously the Bible to educate myself , but what if I slip?
Thank you for reading all this , I really appreciate it.

Have you considered how death entered into the world? Through the "one man", right? Rom5:12

Could it be we are "dead" until Adamic sin is completely removed from us? As in, when the lamb leads the faithful to "waters of life", (rev7),
could that refer to the removal of sin over time?
I find the thought in rev20, where there is a contrast between those who rule in the kingdom, with those who are subjects of the kingdom, really interesting.
      Byington
      Revelation 20:5
"The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years are finished. This is the first resurrection"
If the ones of the "first resurrection" instantly "come to life", and rule for 1000 years, what does it mean to you that the other group is finally "alive" at the end of the millennium? Incidentally, exactly the same time that Jesus removes death forever. 1cor15:24-28.

@@FrankLee-gq8yc I’m sorry, but everything you say just seems like speculation. You say things like “could it be…?” Why speculate when the word of God is so UNBELIEVABLY clear? Look -
“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.”
      ‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬-‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
Sorry, you can’t around this, no matter how hard the watchtower tries. It will fail, because it does not have the word of God on its side. It speaks AGAINST the Bible. Here too! I mean honestly how clear could this possibly be for you?
“But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not be partakers with them.”
      ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭3‬-‭7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
I mean Paul even says let NO ONE DECEIVE YOU WITH EMPTY WORDS - you know, like speculating about having a second chance when the Bible doesn’t say this.

@abideintheWord when i say, "could it be?", it's in reference to have you yourself considered.
Absolutely the wicked will not inherit the kingdom. Repentance and turning to Christ are absolutely vital... but what if I am a 10 year old Afghan boy who has never heard of Christ and a drone strike has just taken my life?
      Is there no hope?
Or "could it be", that God is merciful and gracious and remembers me in the resurrection?
Then, if so, am I judged on my 10 years of life prior? Or what I do with my brand new, knowledge of Christ?

Sir, if you are objecting to his statement that satan’s witnesses believe in second chance theology, you are wrong, I talked to one of them yesterday and without even asking him if he believes in it, he mentioned it on his own. Come out of their heresy if you are in them.

Man this is embarrassing, this guy didn't even bother to do his proper research on what we believe.
We don't believe that unrighteous believers who knew Christ get resurrected are given a second chance to obey Christ 😂😂😂😂
The resurrection of the unrighteous only applies to those who did NOT have the opportunity to learn about or obey Christ.. even those in ancient times , they will be resurrected back to life on earth and be taught about Jesus and given an opportunity to obey and they will be judged based on what they do from that moment forward ... If they disobey then they are cut off forever with no chance of resurrection.... If they obey the receive everlasting life....

Nope! I gave you your VERY OWN watchtower sources and quoted them! Did you even watch? They only said MANY of those who’ll be people who never heard of Christ, not all.

Very briefly, jesus in hesven will raise those in union with him, the anointed who have been born again from physical beings to hesven as spiritual beings . Thus jesus is King. Those born again , in union with Jesus , spuritual beings are corulers of the hesvely aspect of the kingdom. Then jesus and his govt will , over a 1000 years resurect the dead ( All OF THOSE IN THE MEMORIAL TOMBS) into the kibgdom, THAT is where the physical humanity both rightous and unrightous will live. But those unrightous will be be given the FIRST chance they had to lesrn of the true God and his son jesus. At the end of 1000 when human society, the earth have been restored to jehovahx stsndards, jesus will return the (made new) crestion back to his father jrhovah

First of all, the Bible doesn’t say any of what you just said. Second of all, you disagree with the Watchtower! Your very own guide! The source I quoted was directly from the JW website which said for MANY it will be their first time, not for ALL!
