I was saved when I was 13 at a Christian summer camp. For the next 50 years I believed in OSAS, just as I was taught. I lived as I pleased, thinking I would lose reward but not salvation. I was wrong, I believe OSAS is a doctrine of demons. I thank God that He led me to know the truth. Great vid, thank you and God bless!

For example I disagree with Luther and Calvin on secondary issues but I still believe them to be saved and godly men that we can learn much from.
In the greak "predestined" means to be "limited in advance". It has nothing to do with predestination. This is saying that God limited your behavior your actions in advance the life that you would live a life of holiness.

I’m not a Calvinist, but do have friends who are. I don’t think You are presenting what most Calvinist actually believe thus are misrepresenting them. They would agree that someone must humble themselves before God, but that a person doesn’t want to humble oneself before God. Therefore, God changes a person’s heart that doesn’t want to seek him to allow them to see their need for him and thus seek him and humble oneself before God.

Calvinism creates a political position on Christ instead of a spiritual position. Notice how none of these preachers, teachers, bible gurus whatever talk about worship in the right way. They take any emotional attachment to God and turn it into a political leaning. That’s why they have such a hard time knowing if they’re saved or not. As Ravenhill once stated: “if you walked miles up a mountain with 100lbs on your back you’d notice when it was removed.” Why pick it up again unless you want to slide backwards with that weight. Where’s their thankfulness? Where is their praise? Where is their prayer life? Where is their attempt to evangelize outside denominations to the actual lost? It’s just like Free grace, they seek to evangelize the pulpit and Christ’s flock for political power.
Love that quote. It’s amazing to me people can wonder if they have truly been saved or not - aka if they have met the living God of the Bible or not. I’ll save you some time - if you are wondering if you have, then I can tell you that you haven’t, or you’ve already been handed over. Romans 8 says the Spirit bears witness to us. if you want to search the scriptures to find eternal life, you will die forever. it is they that refer to the creator person, jesus. he is a different substance than a book. if he hasnt revealed himself to you, you don't know him. thats why you are trying to use the bible as an authority, rather than be open and honest about how evil you are.

The Westminster Confession of Faith is from Calvinistic tradition states that man's duty is to obey God's revealed will. It also states that men should repent of their sins and confess them to God, asking for forgiveness.

I think there are millions of professing Chr st ans that couldn't quote one verse and never even heard of OSAS or perseverance of the saints but they believe that Gd automatically forgives them no matter what. The world often also believes that if Gd exists then he will count them as good and all would be well.

They are looking for an exact phrase, and we know this is straight from the devil, because the devil also convinced non Christians TO ASK A SIMILAR QUESTION , Where in the bible does it says Jesus is god?. Well of course we know Jesus is God, but the answer is'nt written in an exact phrase, likewise there isnt an exact phrase for repent from sins. but bible does talk about that we need to repent from sins for salvation.

What?!? With that logic the Bible doesn’t say God is sovereign either. It also doesn’t say trinity. There are some books in the Bible that don’t even mentioned Jesus’ death burial and resurrection. I don’t know how you can legitimise the title of your video.
I have a very different experience, while I don’t class myself a Calvinist, but a Christian, my Christian walk has greatly been benefited by the writings of the Puritans, and others who hold to many of the Calvinist views. The thoroughness of their teachings , the depth of their understanding of God and salvation has caused quite the opposite as to what your title implies. These truths have brought a reverential fear of the Lord about my heart and mind, an understanding of salvation , and growth in Holiness by the sanctifying work of his spirit.
And I can attest that his spirit bears witness I’m now a son of God.
So here is the test…
Do you still sin? Are you still a sinner?

I'm glad I've seen your channel so I don't fall for OSAS again ( I used this doctrine to willfully disobey) then I later repented of my disobedience. I've watched your videos on "Are you an Esau" do you personally (or anyone in the comments) know of someone's spiritual life being restored when there in a situation similar to mine?

Hi Adam, I hope you are well these days! I had a separate question about the "little gods" doctrine ive been hearing about and saw in a congregation. I read quoted that "Man is becoming God in life and in nature" and "God became man so that man can become God" (I think orthodox people believe in this Theosis/deification of man thing too?). Yes the Bible says we are in Christ, partakers of divine nature, that Christ lives in us... I've also heard it taught that "God's spirit mingles with our spirit and becomes one with our spirit". Anyways, this has made me feel uncomfortable and I dont think it is right, but I really dont know how to rebuttal it. I know the snake tempted eve by saying "you shall be as God" or something.. but yea I just needed some clarity if you had the time to explain! Thank you !!
The biggest problem with the little gods doctrine is it puts us in control and/or on equal footing with God. This is dangerous because the Bible calls us servants of God, not equals. The way to combat this is showing them the parables of Jesus. When Jesus talks over and over again about servants who must obey Him or they will be cut in pieces or cast into hell, do you get the sense we are anything close to equals to God?
Also, in Revelation when John saw Jesus he fell to the ground as though DEAD. He certainly didn’t seem to view Jesus as equal!
@@abideintheWord nice! Yea those are great, those passages actually led me into the truth much more than the little gods doctrine did... or whatever people try to re-label it as. As I thought about it more the Bible says we are sons of God by faith in Jesus, not by a mystical process of God's spirit mingling with a persons to make him a little God...the Bible also says we are disciples of Jesus, and His friends, not literally a multiplication of Him. We are also his ambassadors. This belief has had me in chains even tho I left the church preaching it a year ago. It exalts humans and makes Jesus an ends to a means in my opinion... thanks for replying Adam!

It just makes me so sad to see that man so deceived and deceiving so many others! He actually thinks he can continue sinning and Jesus is going to say to him well done good a faithful servant! NO! Neither of these men are saying "It doesn't matter" - they are saying quite the opposite, that they are by no means perfect and have work to do living a sanctified life...as we all do! But in a sense, no, it "doesn't matter" - as long as I remain in Christ, God will not hold those sins against me in the end.
