Great video Jeff. I'm pretty sure the 'bung' is similar to a neutral density filter. DJI drones often need a ND filter because DJI make the sensors so sensitive you need a ND filter to reduce the light evenly across the spectrum to gain control of exposure.
Great video Jeff, and good honest review, it's a great piece of kit for the money, I kind of liked the idea of the screen, that's a bit different, like pointed out you'd have to get used to it, catch up with you on the next one, I hope you and your family are doing well 👍👌✌️
Great honest review Jeff. You said it in the video. Not sure if this device knows what it is? Is it targeted at the nature / wildlife market? Not ideal for the hunting fraternity with a big uncovered glowing screen, bits dangling about and sloppy focus adjustment. The price surprised me, cheap, perhaps too cheap. Cheer 🙂
Looks like there are a lot of these things around at the moment, all with the same form factor. Even oneleaf has one. Can't fault the night vision part of it, the sensor is very good. Wish it had normal binoculars eyepieces.
Thanks for detailed review What about screen resolutions and brightness I bought one so shiny that cant use it Tot visible from 50 m... What about this product?
The resolution is good and the 5 levels of screen brightness are not super bright. You need level 5 in bright daylight, but at night it works well on 1 and I didn't notice any glow when night filming, never spooked the rabbits anyway. 👍
Check out my video No.44 where I review the oneleaf nv400 commander. That's what I'm using at the moment, but you might want to check out the Arken Zulus too. 🙂👍
I guess it depends what you want from it. For spotting rabbits and rats at night for airguns it does the job. I guess you might need a little more for foxes, but then I've never shot foxes.
I just had a chance to check my binos. If you're talking about setting the time in the menu then mine can be set for a full 24 hours. I have no idea why yours won't?
OK, but I've never seen anyone make ballistic adjustments in the field due to temperature. And to be honest, the gauge is so small you're not going to get an accurate reading from it.

The best video I’ve seen on this product. Nice detail.
Wow, thanks! 🙂👍

Yes, it's not just a hole. There is a lense of sorts in it that reflects colours when up to the light so you're probably right.

Hi Johnny, yes it was fun to play with. I guess I'd get used to the screen. A couple of minor improvements and it could be great! All the best. 👍

Can you see the stars even better during clear night skies? thanks for the review
Sorry, I didn't think to try that so I have no idea.
Thanks for detailed review

I'm after a night vision unit. Have you got one you could recommend?

Do you know how to change the hours of the time to 12hrs it only goes up to 22 hrs

Temp gauge is because a bullet is affected by temperature
