Gosh time to look after a small farm for a month...its wonderful but relentless and hard work. Being off grid is not ever glamorous or easy. No baths.. quick showers and collecting water to flush the toilet! I did it for a few months but I couldn't do it permanently

The writer in not being promoted…STOP doing every hour god sends! Why would they promote someone that already does it all at a lower pay rate? Clearly they don’t appreciate you, so stop living to work and they’ll see your not a pushover…hence the others that are getting promoted over you 😢
To give you a bit hope Pete, I'm a very random golfer. Played a lot in my teens and early 20's. Work took over, probably didn't play again till my 40's. Even then maybe once every couple of months. Generally using borrowed clubs. Lowest handicap was about 15 i think and that was when I was 16. But, I have 2 hole in ones!! And I will honestly admit to both of them being absolute shanks that caught a lucky break. So, even the worst golfer in the world can fluke it! But I never got a plaque? First time I got cheap bottle of whisky and the second time was a bottle of wine and 2 free drinks in the clubhouse.
Just to indulge the thought process of the person commenting on the shoes on sofa issue. In my view its much better to be pretty and put your shoes on a sofa than not pretty with both feet placed firmly on the floor. X

My weekly whine for this week and every week for all eternity is: It winds me up so much to hear Abbey speak about how highly she puts animals on a pedestal. When you eat them you are literally paying a stranger to abuse and slaughter them multiple times per day. A grown woman who appears fairly intelligent yet she persists with this embarrassing hypocrisy. Give me strength. Love the pod hate the ignorance

I wouldn’t mind but Abbey spends at least a few mins each pod talking about animals like they are invaluable and critical to happiness 🤦🏻
@@jangray2756 if you want the most perfect example of cognitive dissonance it’s saying you love animals all the time whilst simultaneously eating them and all the horror that goes with standard RSPCA approved practices like gas chambers for example. It’s mental
This gets on my nerves too! Every week a self proclaimed animal lover, nobody who participates in animal abuse (by being a meat eater) is an animal lover. Give it a rest.
