Starting off with big names like x, peep, all the goats promoted by sad chill, and finally Convolk's those girls got me here - it's been a while huh... But the point im trying to make here is that im so grateful for people like Sleepy. For People ( calling them artists would be an understastement ) that no matter how under or overrated the topic of mental health is, they will always keep expressing their feelings, struggles, proving that no matter how bad they wanna end it they wont! They'll express it all and keep imroving, feeling and creating, becouse no matter the times, there are people out there going though the same shit, which means no one is alone.. no.. it means we are in it together - and some need a reminder. That's where the new generation steps in - people that started around the pandemic when we all were mentally fucked, those people helped us out by suffering.. Hyperpop proved me how different a genre can be. How many strong beliefs it can ingrave within a mans mind, and how motivating those 'depressed kiddos' can be, not forgetting the language.. no joke, reading some of the lyrics made me pull out a translator, and a notebook to writhe them down, cuz i bet i wont hear those words anywhere else for years.. I'm sending my deepest condolence to all the people sleepy was close to, as I know a sudden death can break the tuffest of men - i remember my dad after all. I hope we all keep listening to his music, as well as cherish all the good memories his music is part of.
