PL lawyers get a few months to write the rules when they are added or changed. Then teams get an unlimited amount of time to look for loopholes or imprecise wording that can sway a couple judges.
It's about sticking in the rules. Did fergie break the rules when he was buying all his rivals best players ? Have city broken the rules in the last 10 years ? The jealousy against other teams who earned their success is real.

The PL was proved more than once to have acted Unreasonably, Unlawfully and Illegally but City challenging them and winning is seen as wrong and out of order. The PL are not acting in the best interests of all when they make rules that adversely affect those who challenge the old order of the red cartel.
Cliff added that it was "not correct that the tribunal’s decision identifies 'certain discrete elements' of the APT rules that need to be amended in order to comply with competition and public law requirements".
He added: "On the contrary: the APT rules... have been found to be unlawful, as a matter of competition law and public law. This means that they are void and not capable of enforcement. This has very significant consequences for APTs that have been entered into to date and APTs that are currently being negotiated by clubs.
So as the are void we can now get sponsorship in for as much as we like as there are NO RULES full stop just go and get it before the PL start again screwing us up

The EPL was a break away, and this is giving the greedy top 8 clubs all the excuse they need to take more revenue. it's not really the case, even after city won the APT case, that doesn't mean APT is failed, the APT is stays there but the detail is changed and amendment. At any stage the Premier League can just disband and start a new competition with the rules the way they want them. The 16 clubs who support the Premier League against Man City join and the rest really have no choice, otherwise they are left languishing in no mans land. It's not ideal, but it can be done if they have the support of the ruling majority.

They rejected the new amended rules 5 days after Newcastle take over which they proved are "Unlawful" they also managed to prove that share holders loans should also be FMV & part of the APT rules , proved that the league broke it own rules when dealing with 2 of City sponsors, proved that the league was abusing their position of power. I wonder if we're now witnessing the beginning of the end for the Premier League and the eventual switch to a European 'super' league. A scenario is unfolding whereby clubs will be gradually losing faith in the competence of those running the Premier League. The clubs who sided with the Premier League against Man City included some of those previously wanting a European Super League so if they still want that then it will be in their best long-term interest for Man City to win the 115 charges case so to further decimate the credibility of the Premier League.

They’ve been bribing league officials for a long time now. When was it 3-4 years ago when City’s most egregious cheating was exposed (when they started cheating literally the day after Pep was hired)? They had definitive hard evidence (caught red handed) so how was that not an immediate slam dunk? City came out and said they challenge every motion & bury the league in millions of pounds of debt through lawyer/legal fees. It’s comical City haven’t been held to account.
