That market was small with items staying reasonable because there were some crafters not into pvp keeping it accessible. Most pvp-ers did not want to spend time farming gold nor wanted to buy gold. DF season 1 was ok despite a lot on AH, season 2 was barely if at all covering cost (recipes were rare and exorbitant) and season 3 and 4 saw an absence of both crafters and buyers. I never even sold a single one for some recipes over season 4 despite sometimes being the only one offering that recipe on AH, and the prices being below average from other realms. Most PvP-er I know don't have the time or gold or willingness to invest in crafting - unlike raiders. So good luck unless you are on a hard core PvP realm, plus you will sell any item only once since they can upgrade it.
Super stoked about this! I always have a ton of extra honor. Plus it allows people to get the apearances without doing pvp but they have to buy them from someone who does do pvp.
does anyone remember if we can "prefarm" pvp for TWW? i dont remember exactly, but i think for DF prepatch they wiped honor at the end of the season 4 SL, but the honor u gained in prepatch for DF, u could keep for DF? either way, this will be very good and quite profitable. but its even better u can start the xpac with 100s of chars with 15k honor each haha

This is exactly my assumption as well. I doubt you will get rich with these recipes

buy recip and craft it in crafting ordre because will be less sold in auction because of honnor so pvp players will farm and went to crafting ordre gl
