I can't say I like the Made in Abyss openings/endings(the ending of Dawn of the Deep Soul movie is good)... But the show is definitely a must watch if you like... hmm... that's a spoiler... let's just say it's a great show but it may take a bit of time for it to "flower" into its true self... also, just like AoT it has an absolutely amazing OST(basically all of season 1, movie, season 2 has an amazing soundtrack). So if you want to listen to something from Made in Abyss maybe ask the community what tracks they recommend. There are dozens of tracks that are all worth hearing even if you don't have time for the show: "Hanezeve Caradhina", "Return of Made in Abyss", "Rumbling of Scientific Triumph", "Old Stories" are all really great...
Í would absoluty LOVE to see you reacting to made in abyss. Its one of the best ones i saw so far. and iam watching animes for like 15 Years now :D Apart from the Opening/Ending, react to the OST hanezeve caradhina That has not any spoilers in it, just enjoy the awesome music.
Steins Gate is a true masterpiece that is actually a cog in a much larger universe called the "Science Adventure Series". Chaos;Head, Steins;Gate, Robotics;Notes, Chaos;Child, Occultic;Nine, and Anonymous;Code, as well as several movies and some games that have not been adapted yet. All of which have ties to each other if you pay attention but can be enjoyed completely independently of each other. Steins;Gate, however, is fairly unanimously agreed upon to be the best animated work in the series.
what about the song of STEINS;GATE: The Movie Ending - "Itsumo Kono Basho de" - Ayane ? This is the best song with epic lyrics of this series. If you can watch the movie, you will understand how meaning of this song is
Steins Gate is soooo good, and Hacking to the Gate is one of my favorite songs. The source material for Steins Gate is actually a series of visual novels, basically a video game version of a choose your own adventure novel
EL PSY CONGROO!! Steins;Gate is one of my absolute personal favorite series. It has everything comedy, sci-fi, romance, action, drama and not to mention a very amazing story with some amazing characters. Anime is amazing yes but I'd also recommend to everyone to also play the Visual Novels whenever they can for a more complete Steins;Gate experience
I love the visual novels even more than the anime! Including the "Linear Bounded Phenogram" spin-off, it solidifies Okabe as my favorite animanga character.
@@GOTGames You are gonna be damn glad you watched it. Funny, powerful, cerebral. Let us know! BTW, always love your hyped af energy. I usually need that. Harley the hopeless romantic weeb, from Texas.
Those who have read the visual novel before the anime probably even felt a greater impact, as it branches to multiple endings and stories untold from the one route only showcased from the anime. Not to mention, the soundtracks of the VN slap so hard too. The VN's a very emotional roller coaster ride that you have to spend so many hours reading. That Suzuha ending though. My goodness! I'm so glad that was not the true ending, or I'd feel too bad about her and Okarin. A really good ending too, but it's so depressing to experience if you were these characters in that kind of situation. It's a must-read if you want to dive deeper into Steins;Gate and listen to Christina explain interesting concepts and theories related to time, and face unpredictable consequences. El Psy Kongroo.
1) The first opening gave goosebumps from start to finish. 2) You absolutely must allocate a Friday slot for this anime. 3) Made in the Abyss absolutely must be watched blindly, the slightest spoilers are devastating. 4) We are waiting for all openings and endings of Initial D
One of the the best storytelling and critically acclaimed in the whole anime media, an inspiration for other animes like Re:zero and even western shows like Dark. Maybe is a little "slow" at first, because it takes his time to tell his story and introduce his characters.
Yeah, the pacing can be a little slow at first. We get introduced to the big character cast and watch them do their day to day, while the mystery unfold slowly and bit by bit in the background. And then it hits you over the head when the story picks up. I think it's done very well (getting to know the characters and then getting hit in the feels); but it can be hard to get into for many
@@sabaoz Yep, I got a friend with a shorter attention span to watch the show. He kept asking me when it picked up and I just said to keep watching. When he got to it he was hooked and now it’s in his top 5 favorites. When it hits you, it hits you.
Steins;Gate is, in my opinion, one of the best time travel stories if not THE best in all of fiction, let alone anime. It starts off super slow, because it focuses on developing and introducing the cast of characters before it decides to raise the stakes. Alone, it is amazing. The midquel, Steins;Gate 0 adds much more, and is faster-paced due to us already being familiar with the cast. At the end, everything is wrapped up neatly. There are more openings made by the same artist for the Steins;Gate movie and visual novel (the source material). Dr Stone is the science anime. It explains a lot of scientific concepts from the perspective of trying to rebuild society.
Fully support this show taking the Friday slot, a truly amazing story. How many seasons of this anime are there: There's 2 seasons, called Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate 0 respectively. The first season also has an episode that has an alternate version, Episode 23(β). I've seen discussions on what would be the "correct chronological order to watch them in" but I think those can be ignored and you can just watch the seasons in order of release and do that funky aforementioned Episode 23(β) in between the two seasons. Is the series finished: Yes Is it safe for UA-cam: Yes, it's only the endings that got a little sus, I honestly don't know why they did that lmao
The ending imagery is symbolism. Also Japan, not to long ago was a culture that really didn't have aversion to nudity in their culture as it was not always in a sexual light. Japan has gotten a bit more sensitive over the years and also shifted it's view to Japan becoming more globalist and the historic nature of Japan being forgotten as it integrates further with western values rather than it's own.
Considering they occasionally talk about women and he feels up a girl one time, not out of place. There is a bit of sexuality and sensuality in the show, cuz what is adult content without it 🤣-
You really should not watch them in release order , as many websites have the OVA listed as an episode to follow up 23b. Which,..you know , doesn't really fit.
You pronounced Steins right and your take on the title's meaning is pretty accurate lol I think the science one that everybody means is Dr. Stone, another highly recommended
So happy to see you reacting to steins gate, a lot of people find it hard to get into it since 1/3 of the watch is set in introducing the characters and the setting, giving you some clues and foreshadowing to how it will pay out in the later part of the show Definitely one of the best adaptations to a visual novel game, from the acting and portraying the events of the series, I hope one day you will be able to react to the full anime
Yes, Steins;Gate is originally a visual novel (which is basically a Choose Your Own Adventure style story told in video game format) in the Science Adventure franchise, and arguably the most well known entry. It was adapted to a 24 episode anime in 2011. It's a fantastic adaptation, but you do need to set your expectations appropriately. The series starts off with a lot of character building and the plot doesn't really pick up until about 6 episodes in, but it's a really cleverly written story with fantastic relationships between the cast. Telling you too much more than that would spoil the enjoyment of discovery.
Steins;gate is objectively a great story. Even if someone dislikes its themes or pace, the writing is incredible. It's a complex story, yet it's so easily understandable and perfectly tighten up. It's one of the unanimous greatest animes ever made. One of those that even if you don't like, you give respect for what it is, simply because it's an undeniably great story. It's my personal favourite, from someone who has watched hundreds of animes.
Fun Fact! The person who Designed the characters in the game this anime is based on, Huke, is also the person who did the character design for Takanashi Kiara, the Hololive Vtuber you recently reacted to! Its all connected somewhere on this worldline. You definitely need to watch this one, but it's best to go in blind. Maybe after you've watched a few more anime to learn a bit more about the common tropes and Japanese societal traits, but it's a must watch. El Psy Kongroo.
Honestly looking into hololive v-tuber character creators (their mama's and papa's as they are affectionately referred) is a rabbit hole inside of a rabbit hole. It's a lot of fun seeing who is related to who and what franchises
@@rbanarchy303 yeah. I recently learned Bae's designer also did the new protagonists from Fire Emblem. Which makes a lot of sense, as they basically look like Bae's half siblings!
@mrmxypltk yea Mika Pikazo is one of my favorite artists I discovered because of their work with hololive. I actually had the chance to buy her art book in a Japanese book store a few month ago but chose not to because it was upcharged to hell. Still kinda wish I had grabbed it
Steins;Gate is easily one of my top three anime of all time, and I've seen hundreds at this point. It's just such a well written story with such lovable characters, I absolutely love it. It starts off a little slow though, which many people don't seem to like much, but I personally loved it from beginning to end and pretty much everyone aggrees that the scond half is a masterpiece. You should definitely check it out, I'm confident that you at the very least won't regret it.
"If that scene, if those moments are important for you, the past can't be something you left behind" That sentence from the second opening summarizes this anime SO PERFECTLY it's insane. Steins;Gate is a must-watch for every sci-fi fan
The singer for both of the openings is a woman by the name of Kanako Itou. She’s a phenomenal singer, and I highly recommend checking out more songs from her, especially from her “One’s Rock” album
They're on different genre. You should compare it to Code Geass or Cowboy Beebop or Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu, or even Evangelion and Cyberpunk to make it apple to apple
@@CuriouSniff Ty I was looking for alikes shows like S;G, from the trailer it seems very promising with people telling the same stuff they do with S;G "Wish I could see it for the first time again". I'll definitely give Code Geass a shot.
This is my favorite anime and I’m hyped that you reacted to it. Steins;Gate is under a larger series called the Science;Adventure series with this one being the most popular entry in it. I’d recommend checking out the other openings for the visual novels for Steins;Gate or the other Science;Adventure series openings.
It's definitely a must watch, I used to be an anime hater two years earlier, but ever since I watched steins gate, I realized how good anime can actually be, and it's one of the few I've watched more than once too
God damn. A self-proclaimed "anime hater" and yet you managed to get through the build up of episodes that many people actually get filtered off. Respect to you.
@@LckD008 I really thought that anime was all about fights and people yelling their lungs out because all the anime I knew were dragon ball, one punch man, Naruto etc, so I thought that no anime would interest me. As it turns out I've found almost 50 ones that I like, mainly because there's a little more thought involved with the action, instead of mindless punches
@@svbricks3228 I see. I guess I didn't think about outsider perspective on anime since I pretty much grew up watching them. Of course people would perceive the mainstream stuff as the baseline for what they expect anime to actually be.
Steins;Gate is one of the all time best time travel stories to this date.... And not just in anime medium. Time travel is always a concept people are curious about and this is a show that did time travel concepts justice... And this was the only time travel story that by the end, I Actually felt thankful that the real world actually doesn't have time travel. It's a heartwarming story of a bunch of people in a time travel scenario. Also, the science one you are talking about is probably Dr.Stone. But the one everyone is talking about as the must watch is clearly Steins;gate
One of my favourite animes of all time! Definitely a classic. 1000% recommended! Fun fact: The main characters english voice actor is Erwin Smith from AOT
First opening always gives me chills reminiding me of the show, it is really amazing. And the science one you mentioned is either this or Dr. Stone, which is another really good anime.
I'm glad to see folks in the comments here not spoiling the show. You really have to go into this show nearly blind. Such a good story, and I think it will be truly considered a "classic" with age. EDIT: Unlike many anime, I feel like this is actually one of those shows that could have been done equally well in live action.
There actually is a live-action play adaptation available on UA-cam with the voice actors, and it's impressively good...and also very Japanese in that questionable way.
all im gonna say is its a Very rare 10/10 for me, not cause its perfect im every way. but because it does one thing better than any other piece of media and thats "Time Travel"
If you want a shorter, darker anime, I'd recommend Baccano! It is only 13 episodes, and if I were to describe it with just two words, those would be gritty and confusing. But believe me, I mean confusing in a very good way! It tells three different stories in three different times, with some overlapping cast and can change scene to scene on which one of the stories it is focusing on. It is beautifully executed idea and it all clicks together perfectly in the end, but believe me, the first episode is almost intentionally constructed to confuse you as much as possible. It also has a great opening I'd recommend checking out, one that also does good work in highlighting how massive the cast can be!
one of the best series of all time. a must watch. the only issue is it takes about 10-15 episodes to get REALLY good not to say the episodes before that are bad its just a little slow and the comedy and characters make it ok at the start too so its not really that bad. 10/10 show everyone has seen this a classic and a legend.
Steins;Gate is definitely one of my favorite series Also, nudity in things like this is often meant to be symbolic. Things like innocence, vulnerability, purity, etc. Same thing with her being bound/tied in the first ending. I won't go into it further because of spoilers and I'd rather you have as pure of an experience going in as possible. I hope you enjoy it!
Steins Gate is one of the best anime in the anime universe. Glad you did a reaction to its OPs and EDs. Hope to see a reaction for the anime itself oneday
Literally one of the best time travel stories ever created. Started with the Visual Novel way back in the day and the anime perfectly adapts all the important parts. This is also one of the rare anime where both the sub and dub are God tier. Also yeah there's only 2 seasons technically, each one going over each VN respectively (Steins; Gate, and then Steins; Gate 0) Re:Zero is the only anime I've watched that comes close to matching the feelings this anime gave me. Which speaking of dark anime is also another great one (I believe you already checked out the openings, unless I'm misremembering)
Finally someone showing some respect to these ops and eds / steins ; gate went very dark very quickly that Really caught my attention to it back in 2013
You should 100% react to this, especially if you don't know what to expect. It is one of the best shows of all time and even gets people that normally wouldn't watch anime interested
It is an absolutely amazing anime. Steins gate is my number 1 anime and I believe up there for a lot of people. It is an absolute masterpiece of a show. I have been loving your aot reactions and I will be the HAPPIEST person alive if you start reacting to steins gate!!!!
Both Steins;gate and steins;gate zero openings are so good. All of the openings, even the ones for the visual novel game, are all sung by the same person too. The anime is a great example of how to do a visual novel adaptation into a show. Steins;gate also got a fantastic dub as well. Modern anime tend to get a fairly faithful dub but this show fully changes the script while still keeping the main story intact. The script for the dub is very wild to say the least.
@@maicolsebastianengstromele5260 i heavily disagree. It is one of the best dub for any series. It has it own charm without destroying the story of the show. Just the writing for Okarin is larping taken up to 11 and it is great.
The best anime you'll ever watch. Provided you are partial to a time travel epic. There was actually a second ED of season 2! There is actually a video somewhere in YT where they put the full version of the S2 ending music over the James Bond Intro. Fits perfectly
Stein's Gate is in my books one of the best Animes of all time. You mentioned in the video that you wanted darker and more warped plot lines. This somehow manages to mix up a story that has you rolling around laughing your head off and at the same time it is so dark it can leave you feeling utterly emotionally drained. On the series - Season 1 is the definitive story. Season 2 almost doesn't exist in the story which is a weird thing to say but without spoling it, this season takes place during season 1. When you realise why, it messes with your head. There are also 4 short OVA episodes which are comical (OVA's are almost bonus episodes usually done for the Bluerays only and tend to have things in them of a more adult theme and were never on TV). And finally there is the Stein's Gate movie which technically takes place after season 1. This is so good and perhaps the strangest thing about Stein's Gate is this is based on a real world story that happened. I would watch it first then search UA-cam for the mystery character in the series and you will get a hell of a shock. Most people don't realise that character was real and caused a huge mystery. On a recommendation. Please... please please... Do the Opening Ending for Akudama Drive - this is a cyber punk series very similar to Akame ga Kill in its premise and it is a future classic anime. Plus the opening track Steal is... bonkers. Your head will be spinning after listening to that track and the full version is even better.
7:28 That's a good point ! In fact, the song is interpreted by Yui Sakakibara, who voiced a character from another anime (and visual novel) named Chaos;Head, which takes place in the same universe as Steins;Gate. The character, Ayase Kishimoto, is the singer of a gothic style visual kei band named Phantasm, which music style kind of sounds like Evanescence. And so, the ending of Steins;Gate is canonically interpreted by Phantasm !
I'm so happy that you are considering to watch this in the friday slot after chainsaw man. PLEASE DO IT! I LOVE IT SO MUCH! The story, the characters, the musics, it's all amazing. The MC is just a brilliant character. I watched it like 7 times and I still got chills just by hearing the openings! Amazing show. I also suggest you to check out Steins;gate OST "Gate of Steiner", one of the best of all time in my opinion!
12:06 Made in Abyss is breathtaking. The openings don't really spoil much though especially the first one. The second one maybe a little if you didnt watch the previous season. But it doesn't spoil more than any other anime openings, you won't really get a lot from it.
This is one of the shows that makes you think. You will be going through scenario after scenario in your head during and after almost every episode. It is one of the few shows where you don't know how it will end at all. 2 second synopsis: time travel, mystery, and a lot of confusion. Great characters (all very different) and A LOT of twists
hey there! just popping by to mention Golden Kamuy again!👋 also, I have seen Stein's Gate, and it is an incredibly interesting anime... and one of the few where I'd recommend watching the dub. the whole thing feels very of it's time period, but in a way, it's actually kind of a neat little time capsule of nerd culture and dated slang. it can be cringe in a fun way... and also sometimes cringe in a cringe way. but I feel like everybody who watches it today has the ability to sort of intuit what's going on with it, and how to feel about it. like, yeah, the consensus is just that this thing _very_ came out in the early 00's. beyond that, it's up there among my favorite time travel related narratives that I've seen!
Absolutely I think you should watch this, it's an amazing show. The first few episodes could be considered slow, but when it kicks off, it REALLY kicks off.
Steins Gate is in my top 3 anime. It caught me off guard how good it was, picked it at random a long time ago without hearing anything. Was an amazing surprise! Binged it all in one go 😁
Another classic is blue exorcist. After announcing season 2 after 6 whole years, now they announced season 3 after 5 years since season 2 last aired! The hype is real and definitely want to recommend you this one, as this is one classic shounen anime I can say! :)
It was my first anime. 2 seasons and a movie. It's really good. You will get hooked really hard. Keep up the good work, man. Have an awesome day. This anime is a masterpiece. It will be a good friday series indeed. There are full versions of songs, but it will have spoolers.
Yes Steins gate is indeed wrapped up and it only has 2 seasons, they only have 1 cour each, which means in total you only have to watch 24 episodes And yeah it's really good
Technically season 1 is already a complete story, season 2 is basically an alternate route to the story but i won't spoil anything Btw "steins gate" is season 1 and "steins gate 0" is season 2
"Is this the science anime? [...] Is he called Dr. Steins or something?" So far yet so close xD The science anime you're most likely thinking about is _Dr. Stone,_ you almost got it by accident lol Mandatory plug for Made in Abyss' song "Hanezeve Caradhina". Guaranteed to blow your socks off and spoiler-free!
Absolute must watch. Easily among the best Anime of all times, period. Being an Anime fan for over 2 decades now and having watched 400+ series till date, I don’t use “best” lightly. It’s a sci-fi mystery first, but the romance is just as good. Handsdown my fav Anime couple as well. The memorable characters and their chemistry with each other is probably my fav part of this show. I honestly can’t recommend this anime enough.
You need to react to the Steins Gate ELITE opening aswell, that one is my personal favorite! And yes Steins Gate is a must watch 🙂 Though I personally suggest playing the Visual Novel over the Anime for Steins Gate: 0 as the anime jumbles the routes a bit
Steins;Gate, Madoka Magica and Made in Abyss are some of the best shows I've ever seen, alongside Shingeki no Kyojin and another one called Zankyou no Terror; and if I have to find something that all of this animes have in common then it would be: 1. All of them know how to get into some depressing or dark themes, if they want to go soft they go soft, but if they want to go hard... They go HARD. 2. They all know how to make complex characters, and the line between who's actions are good or bad is usually not so clear. 3. All 5 OSTs are amazing, even Steins;Gate, that doesn't come out so often when talking with people about this aspect. Made in Abyss openings and endings are great, but if you're planning on watching it not so far in the future you may prefer to just watch them with the episodes, I don't think they have any important spoiler for their respective seasons tho (the movie that goes in between the 2 seasons doesn't have an opening, just an ending). For last, I think the "science" anime you were talking about is Dr. Stone, I can say that the original manga is really good, I've heard that the anime is slightly worse, but It's still a very good show.
Wow, my favorite anime, yes, its finished, and there´s 2 "seasons" of it. Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate: 0. Its absolutely amazing, 11/10 for me, Its quite dark too, and has an amazing cast of characters, this might be my opinion only but the main character from steins gate is one of the best written characters I´ve seen on fiction, not only anime. Glad u reacted to the songs, they are awesome.
It is like watching a fever dream and if you don't keep up you will lose track of what is going on quick, BUT it is an absolute watch for the memes and twist endings from S1 and S2. Science animes: steins gate and Dr. Stone. P.S. For those that watched eminence in shadow, don't you kinda compare the main characters abilities. Rintaro Okabe: spouts about conspiracies. they come true. Shadow: spouts about cults. they come true.
If you are going to watch stein gate then please follow the instructions below to make it easier to understand ! 1.Stein gate(2011) ep 1~22 2. Steins;Gate: Kyoukaimenjou no Missing Link - Divide By Zero 3. Stein;Gate 0(2018) 4. ep 23,24,ova 25 Stein gate(2011) 5. Steins;Gate: The Movie − Load Region of Déjà Vu. Wish you have a great experience with this super product❤❤ El Psy Congroo!!!
Best freaking time travel story. I didn’t sleep for 2 days to watch it from start to the end. Never happened to me with anything else. I hope something will ever be at the same level as this one for me.
13:18 It kinda does count. Tbf most of the animes aren't lucky enough to be adapted until the end. Those are a minority. Of course I'm not considering the "original animes" like Darling in the FranX or Code Geass, because those are almost always planned to be produced from the beginning until the end in 1 or 2 seasons. (For those that don't know, an original anime is one that isn't an adaptation of a manga, lightnovel or game, but is instead produced directly in anime format.)
The Music from all of steins;gate media is insanely god tbh. And there is so much. This show is in y top3 animes of all time together with gurenn lagan since 2010 or so.
Man this is my favorite anime of all time it hit me in the feels so many different times and okabe is one of my favorite characters in fiction. Definitely give it a watch if you want a really brilliant anime with amazing characters and a great plot.
I just finished this show earlier this week, and I will say it is my new favorite anime. I would definitely recommend it, and I would love to see your reactions if you did them.
Another recommendation for ICONIC Anime is GUNDAM, since you haven't done any opening reaction to it. It's still going strong from 1979 to this day, with over many series with great openings! For more recent stuff, you can start with Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans (Op 1-4, Special Edition) or Gundam 00 (Op 1-4) or Gundam Unicorn Re0096 (Op 1-2) or the currently airing Gundam the Witch from Mercury (Op 1). Or, if you want the old school stuff, you can start with Gundam 0079 (Op 1) or Zeta Gundam (Op 1-2) or Gundam ZZ (Op 1-2).
I really recommended this anime. Specially when the mc loop in time to save her childhood friends. And most epic part is, when he shout out "It's Steins Gate time"
Steins;Gate changed how I watched anime. I started it the year it aired and dropped it 5 episodes in. Attempted again after it aired, and it just felt slow so again I dropped it at episode 6. A few months later, I was told it was amazing by a friend who praises nothing. Decided to "grind" through it only for it to blow my mind and make its way into my top 5.
the first anime to make me cry,i cant make sense of it even after all these years. it was the most touching show I had ever seen, its not something you would want to watch while dividing your attention to us,you should just watch by yourself lest it loses its charm.
I really wish he also reacted to the third ending World-Line which is my personal favourite but still a good reaction and im guessing he heard it while reacting to the anime or will hear it if he still hasnt gotten to that point in the anime yet.
Yes, place Steins;Gate into the Friday slot. This anime has affected my life in so many ways, I highly recomend it. On another note, I hope you will react to Welcome to the NHK, because it seriously needs more recognition for it's brilliance.
I would love for you to react to more from the vocalist of both openings, Kanako Ito. Her voice and way of singing just feels so different than most japanese vocalists.
Finished anime, 4 seasons technically with two for 'Steins;Gate' and two for 'Steins;Gate0' total of 40-something episodes between them. It starts very slow, but if you can give it the time to get going... Oh *boy* does it get going.
I just realized the vocalist of the first ed is Phantasm. Her voice gives me the biggest flashbacks of the SciAdv series which Steins;Gate is a part from. All of the VN are awesome but Steins;Gate will always be the favorite.
This series has one of the best stories ever. It's based on a visual novel (which I played before seeing the anime) about time travelling (hence the clocks and hourglasses) and the consequences of changing past events. What's great also is that the science is actually based on real-life discoveries and theories. A must-watch! I'm definitely in favor of it taking the friday slot!

For me - first opening from original VN best :)
Getting hit by a ton of bricks then hearing those opening riffs
Looking forward to finally checking this show out 💯
idk, they all good, but hacking to the gate, fatima and last game truly hit different.

Not to mention it has tragedy. That's a selling point for Luke.
I love the visual novels even more than the anime! Including the "Linear Bounded Phenogram" spin-off, it solidifies Okabe as my favorite animanga character.
i mean, the time travel plot alone was enough to amaze anyone.

Tu-tu-ruuuu!
Already said, but, it can NEVER be said enough. One. Of. The. BEST. Animes. Ever. I'm gonna cry during these openings....
Everyone says such good things about it! Got to check it out 💯💯
@@GOTGames You are gonna be damn glad you watched it. Funny, powerful, cerebral. Let us know! BTW, always love your hyped af energy. I usually need that.

@Anonnermooseseason 2? You mean 0?
@Anonnermoosetf it is a masterpiece none the less
One of the best if not the best anime of all time. It's up there with AoT and Vinland Saga
Bro, finally someone with good taste
I did that and now I regret :
Can't find better .... More I look at nowadays show, it does not compare.
Is VN worth it's price? Are there more stories of the side characters or something?

It is good. Not the best on my list, but as far as the type/genre of anime it is, i would say it tops and sets the standard. Really good show overall
1) The first opening gave goosebumps from start to finish.
2) You absolutely must allocate a Friday slot for this anime.
3) Made in the Abyss absolutely must be watched blindly, the slightest spoilers are devastating.
4) We are waiting for all openings and endings of Initial D
There’s two seasons of steins gate with 24 and 23 episodes. It’s my favourite show of all time and a timeless classic.
So if we did it on Friday it would take the year pretty much after Chainsaw Man, if people want it then we can 💯
One of the the best storytelling and critically acclaimed in the whole anime media, an inspiration for other animes like Re:zero and even western shows like Dark.
Ah that was it! For some reason I thought this was the science one but I remember now! ❤️
"starts off super slow" is a bit of an overstatement
@@davefred honestly didn't feel slow for me tho
It had just enough mystery to it that had me hooked
@@RenderingUser Yep, that's why I said it's an overstatement. To me the mystery was enough to get me hooked from episode 1.
Agreed I am always confused when people say that because I knew nothing about it and was hooked into the mystery immediately@@RenderingUser
Fully support this show taking the Friday slot, a truly amazing story.
How many seasons of this anime are there:
There's 2 seasons, called Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate 0 respectively. The first season also has an episode that has an alternate version, Episode 23(β).
I've seen discussions on what would be the "correct chronological order to watch them in" but I think those can be ignored and you can just watch the seasons in order of release and do that funky aforementioned Episode 23(β) in between the two seasons.
Is the series finished:
Yes
Is it safe for UA-cam:
Yes, it's only the endings that got a little sus, I honestly don't know why they did that lmao
Hmm could be a good Friday slot anime then 🤔 it's definitely up there! 💯
You pronounced Steins right and your take on the title's meaning is pretty accurate lol
I think the science one that everybody means is Dr. Stone, another highly recommended
So happy to see you reacting to steins gate, a lot of people find it hard to get into it since 1/3 of the watch is set in introducing the characters and the setting, giving you some clues and foreshadowing to how it will pay out in the later part of the show
Definitely one of the best adaptations to a visual novel game, from the acting and portraying the events of the series, I hope one day you will be able to react to the full anime
The Visual Novel it's adapted of is one the most impactful piece of fiction I've ever read.
The first 12 Episodes of this Anime are good. But after this the show really starts and it begins blowing your mind getting a absolut masterpice.
Now that is some amazing linking... Kiara and Steins;gate are the furthest thing I would connect together
@@newbie4789 Huke also designed Black Rock Shooter, one of Kiara's favorites, and she covered a song from it as well!
Still kinda wish I had grabbed it
Must say i love Steins;gate
Its one of the bast animes ever it deserves its own category if you ask me
Ah can't wait to finally watch it!
The OP is naturally a classic but the ED is also so iconic to me, the scene where it plays in the show had my jaw drop.
What I love about Steins:Gate, aside from the great plot, is how well they incorporate the real-life urban legend of John Titor into the plot.
"If that scene, if those moments are important for you,
the past can't be something you left behind"
That sentence from the second opening summarizes this anime SO PERFECTLY it's insane. Steins;Gate is a must-watch for every sci-fi fan
I'm not even a sci-fi fan and it's one of my two favorite anime shows.
OH YES THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVS. THANKS FOR THE REACTION. I hope you check the anime soon
Definitely will be 💯💯
The singer for both of the openings is a woman by the name of Kanako Itou. She’s a phenomenal singer, and I highly recommend checking out more songs from her, especially from her “One’s Rock” album

And the english voice actress of Sasha from AOT also voices Mayuri
3:05 that would be Dr. Stone
Baccano has 16 episodes actually.
one of the best series of all time. a must watch. the only issue is it takes about 10-15 episodes to get REALLY good not to say the episodes before that are bad its just a little slow and the comedy and characters make it ok at the start too so its not really that bad. 10/10 show everyone has seen this a classic and a legend.
Steins;Gate is definitely one of my favorite series
Also, nudity in things like this is often meant to be symbolic.
Steins Gate is a must see anime, for sure!! I'd love to see you reacting
I DIDNT KNOW YOU REACTED TO THESE GEMS!
Im a bit upset youtube didnt show me this reaction
Literally one of the best time travel stories ever created. Started with the Visual Novel way back in the day and the anime perfectly adapts all the important parts. This is also one of the rare anime where both the sub and dub are God tier.
Also yeah there's only 2 seasons technically, each one going over each VN respectively (Steins; Gate, and then Steins; Gate 0)
Re:Zero is the only anime I've watched that comes close to matching the feelings this anime gave me.
7:28
That's a good point !
My favorite of all time
Truly a masterpiece!
Here are some recommendations ! You definitely have to to check out "Ranking of kings" and "Dororo" openings and endings, so awesome :D
truly the best of anime, both seasons and the movie are great and all tie together perfectly for its kind of anime.
hey there! just popping by to mention Golden Kamuy again!👋
also, I have seen Stein's Gate, and it is an incredibly interesting anime... and one of the few where I'd recommend watching the dub. the whole thing feels very of it's time period, but in a way, it's actually kind of a neat little time capsule of nerd culture and dated slang. it can be cringe in a fun way... and also sometimes cringe in a cringe way. but I feel like everybody who watches it today has the ability to sort of intuit what's going on with it, and how to feel about it. like, yeah, the consensus is just that this thing _very_ came out in the early 00's.
beyond that, it's up there among my favorite time travel related narratives that I've seen!
Absolutely I think you should watch this, it's an amazing show. The first few episodes could be considered slow, but when it kicks off, it REALLY kicks off.

And yes Steins Gate is a must watch 🙂
Though I personally suggest playing the Visual Novel over the Anime for Steins Gate: 0 as the anime jumbles the routes a bit
Steins;Gate, Madoka Magica and Made in Abyss are some of the best shows I've ever seen, alongside Shingeki no Kyojin and another one called Zankyou no Terror; and if I have to find something that all of this animes have in common then it would be:

And most epic part is, when he shout out "It's Steins Gate time"
Steins gate has the potential to be the best anime ever, i'm serious, its such a great story, soundtracks, characters...

I have been waiting for this. This is my favourite anime.
Fair, world-line is great!

All of the VN are awesome but Steins;Gate will always be the favorite.
i love this op 2 so much
is my fav
i was waiting for this react to come
This series has one of the best stories ever.
It's one of my favorite animes so yeah, you might watch it (starting with Steins;Gate and then watching Steins;Gate 0)
