Whoa!!!!!! Now that is one HUMUNGOUS pile of firewood!!! Someone hit the firewood jackpot!!!! Damn!!! The Mighty Husqvarna chainsaw will definitely be getting a workout and so will you!!!
Love the drone shot of the unloading. SUPER cool!!!
I have to admit, we will miss your firewood gathering videos. We LOVED those!!! That one with the snow and fog in September is one of my favorites!!! Hopefully, trips to the mountains will be part of your supplementation process!!!
Wow, you made 10 trips last year! I had no idea it took that many trips to get one season of firewood.
As much as we will miss your firewood gathering videos, this is a brilliant move. We will absolutely follow your battle plan. We will make sure we purchase enough firewood for 2 seasons, then supplement throughout the year to hopefully get to the point where we have a 5-year supply. That might be a bit aggressive, but we will reevaluate as we increase our inventory. We are totally stealing your idea. 😊 Thank you for sharing it and sharing the costs. Now I can budget.
Hey, maybe one day you can do a review of your Husqvarna. I have been in the Stihl camp for a while. I would love to know why you picked the Husqvarna.
That is a substantial cost savings. Almost half. In my opinion, that is a no brainer. You can always take a trip to get some firewood when you want to spend time outdoors, BUT the beauty is you do not NEED to go. Not to mention, with the price of trucks now a days, you probably added 5 years to your vehicle’s life span!!!
How long do you think it would take to process that much timber. Yikes!!! I am taking a wild guess, but I will say 150 hours. Am I even close or did I miss that by a country mile? 😊
Wow, what a great perspective shot of you next to the timber pile when you are marking the chopping lengths. Damn, that is a big pile of wood. My friend, you should be set for a zombie apocalypse.
Hehehehe, love the shot when you are marking the lengths on the logs and Lolly is SNOOZING peacefully in the background. All that commotion and she does not even blink!!!
Oh, good Lord, how is your one spine doing??? Man, you cut and stacked a LOT of wood.
Hehehehehehe, 6' 8", brother, you are 10' 8" in heart alone!!!!
Did you mention you had a wood splitter? Is this something new? We would LOVE to see a video on how you process firewood.
Oh man, you have no idea how much we loved this video!!! We are definitely going to follow in your footsteps and get a truckload of logs!!!
Great way to spend a Sunday evening!!! Can’t wait to see the next video!!!
Be well and stay safe my friend!!!

Yeah here in south east Idaho I paid 2500 for a semi load roughly 11-14 cord. Used to be cheaper

@@theidahopanhandlers you would think I would know what kind of pine it is but I don’t. I do know the trees come out of the mountains around Ashton Idaho

Lots of work for sure! Yeah.. I have a nice scare on my thigh from a chainsaw incident about ten years ago. It can happen fast and I was fortunate that it wasn’t any worse then it was. I hope you guys are getting some good hiking in this year! Are you going up to your spot on PL? Nice hearing from you!

We like it a lot! We do the same thing in Michigan but yes we get hardwoods, mostly oak. We go through about 14 cords of split wood each winter. Definitely share a video of splitting it!

14 cords.. My lord. I feel up to my ears with needing roughly four 😂 Thanks for verifying the burning of the hardwoods! I burned some dry maple last year that I found for free online and it was awesome stuff. I’ll film the splitting for sure. Thank you so much for your support and for watching the video!

You must have the worst wood stove set up in the world to go through 14 cords. My goodness

I brought out the big dog for those. The 28" bar allows me to not have to bend over as much when bucking logs. Thanks for watching!

Hello from another fellow North Idaho channel! Would love to talk to you about who you bought from. Last year I won the Priest River loggers day log truck raffle and we are enjoying all of the logs ask firewood this last year. We definitely have decided this is the way to go and would love to find out who you used.❤❤

Hey there! I’d be happy to give you a number to call. However, the guy I used is pushing 80, and he told me he didn’t think he’d be selling for much longer. He also sold his last truckload to a friend of mine.
