Story; Years ago my Dad went out with our Rough Collie for a walk and climbed over a fence and was in the middle of the pasture when suddenly a Bull saw him and charged my Dad. This Bull was just about to run my Dad down when our Collie went after the Bull and held him off until my Dad running hell bent for leather to the fence and over it. My Dad said he would make sure before he climbed a fence again to make sure what was on the other side first after that. Our Collie had a rib eye steak that night for dinner. LOL
My mom wanted a toy poodle, Susie full grown at 6 pounds was the best cattle dog ever! She kept the cows and bulls away from dad. She was fast and would nip them on their back leg then take off running was her norm or a few times of the front leg. When we moved them to another pasture boy could keep them together and moving. She out lived my parents by a couple of years passed at 14 years.
Our neighbor used to have a blind bull in one herd and a huge younger bull in a separate herd. Eventually the herds combined as a new, smaller herd with a new bull took over the far pasture. But once old man bull and young and tough got their heads pressed together (blind man could hear and smell him, obviously, but had approached slowly until contact was made), I'd never seen so much dirt fly. He must have had experience prior to losing sight because they seemed pretty equal. They eventually left each other alone and the blind fellow passed of old age one day.
The determined power of the bulls is amazing. The terrific design and quality manufacturing of the Arrowquip system is gratefully appreciated. The assistance and personality of Jeff are noted. The consistent quality of the narrator, photographer, editor and poster is always welcome. Well Done.
That first bull acted like he was saying "it's about time you got here, I'm ready." Jeff seems to be having a great time and has been a big help this summer.
My father was seriously injured by a bull. He was calling in the cows and ended up getting in between the bull and the cows. The bull didn't like that and the damage to my dad was extensive enough that he almost lost his life. My dad wore the battle scars for the rest of his life. He was a real tough son of a gun and greatly missed.
I can't imagine how much it cost to run your ranch. You're blessed to be living such a life regardless of the expenses and hardships. Thank you for sharing your videos...I really enjoy seeing them and several other UA-cam videos like yours.
Wow, that went well! Moving 3 bulls and having a distance to go was a blessing, wore them down a little. When you hauled them back that gave them time to rest, then the ensuing fight to establish dominance. Good job Mike and Jeff! Thanks for the video and good luck on the sale, have a great rest of day and week(end).
Tip: when backing atv out of something......put 1 leg behind you on seat or rack in case it tips over backwards. This gives the rider the abilttity to "catch" the fall......learned from personal experience. Haha 😄 👍
Limpy Gimpy seems to be doing just fine fighting with the others. Darn bulls and that attitude! Good thing the Arrowquip is holding up to their shenanigans!
That knee is really swollen on the red bull. Probably hurt it fighting or getting off. He is a beauty I love his color. Vader was sewing his oats all the way to the last minute!! You might not have a pen left with all three pushing at it.
This was a really cool video. Those bulls are huge and I am glad things worked out with your make shift corral. Loading went very well from what I saw. I did not figure they would fight though. You would think they would have been tired out after hanging out with all the ladies.
Just got back from a vacation in Rapid City, SD and traveling I90 we saw all kinds of tractor trailers with flatbeds hauling hay. Was hoping that two of those were on there way to your ranch.
Good to see u back doing what u luv Jeff. I am so proud to see you back. The Boys r fighting, having no idea what is going to happen next. The Black one is trying to do what we called in the day a Rolling Block, way to go then, may the best man WIN! Thank u Mike for sharing, especially with Jeff, luv u Jeff 💯💯💯! U too Mike.
I just purchased one of those NOCO boosts not afew months ago, and it works beautifully! Highly recommend those things. Bloody life-savers, or handy little portable power back for camping and such. Also, NOCO sells the wall-plug attachment separately so you don't have to be stuck with micro-usb or the "lighter attachment" to charge it.
Thank you for sharing . I really feel for you . Never seen it so dry . I am in salt lake city October 7 feels like September 7 . Good luck . Nice looking bulls .
Wow! did the Red Bull break his leg? I rather see aggressive bulls because it makes you more respectful in handling them( quiet bulls kill) Glad you guys are safe and have a "great " evening
Oh wow I love the q catch. I could really use one of those. Almost lost my fingers in my squeeze a few weeks ago. Told myself I will be buying a new one very soon.
16:55 TRUER WORDS WERE NEVER SPOKEN! We will engineer/finagle/test/stretch the absolute crap out of anything! Ingenuity is a total "must" on the homestead
Just sent our bull to the stock yard in ronan due to the same reasons you did lack of feed and need a new blood line , always nice to comment on your channel ,
Yeah Mike by Jeff a hat like you have and a pair of sunglasses so he looks important also I'm glad he's there to help you out that was crazy with them two bulls fighting
Pour some apple cider vinegar on their backs as they come off the trailer and it will stop them from fighting after they smell that has worked for us for years!

I've seen VERY up close how a 2klb bull can jump well over a 5ft fence panel to get away from a fight. Always best to keep them separated and calm.
I once witnessed a Brahman do that and then a 5ft tall cowboy dive off the top, land a headlock in mid air and drop the bull on his side. Yikes.
@@reubenpatience9977 that must really have been something to see
I’ve seen bull’s 2klb or bigger bust threw wire fences and wood gates an panel’s bent like no ends an fight like nothing.
They have made me jump fences too.

Pretty amazing😍🤩🤔🥳😎😎 they could design and *build* a system that 2 men could assemble and 3 bulls couldn't destroy!😄🙅♀️🤪🙃😘
Well said🎯
"C'mon, guys! Stop fighting!" It was enjoyable watching two cowboys at work with their mechanical horses. Good work!
My favorite quote from the TV show the A-Team is "gotta luv it when a plan comes together".
The two of you should do some sort of comedy tour. The more Jeff is on camera, the more he opens up

Never turn your back on a bull nor a stallion .
Oh Jeff...that was great..."Depends on how he identifies!"
My thoughts when thy first Bull in the truck “that worked out pretty good” then y’all said it worked out pretty good! Too easy!
That first bull acted like he was saying "it's about time you got here, I'm ready."
Jeff seems to be having a great time and has been a big help this summer.

Great work today guys. Working cattle always get me going.

What a day! Limpy sure wasn't about to back down.
When you got someone to help you, it really helps things go so much better.
That was one of the best videos! Thanks for showing us this. Those two bulls reminded me of my sons in the teenage years!
I’m so glad this channel appeared on my feed

I just love the bulls but they can be a pain in the butt! Mr. Red is just so massive! Great video Gentlemen!
Good Evening to Our Wyoming Life and all others too. 😊😊
So glad to see Jeff back on the ranch!
That DING DING DING at the start spooked me enough to punch the side of my pickup! I thought the fight was on!! 🤣🤣🤣

Very Good Tip!!😀

Awesome. Low stress handling of cattle, he did just what you wanted.
Jeff, I still have my bailing twine too from my dad. I'm 60!

I'm impressed. The number of f-bombs I would've been throwing around would've been (and usually is) immense. 😂😂😂
After last winter I was glad that Jeff came. 👍
Jeff has lots of experience & a great help to you I'm sure.
And... He looks like a lot of FUN 😉😁🤗... GBY ALL 🙏❤💙💙🤗✝️

Dam bulls! Such an important part of the ranch but a huge pain in the ass too! Great video Mike!
When one turns to run they might just run thru a fence because they watching their rear not the way they're running
Very good video ! Glad to see Jeff working with Mike has a team !!
Just got back from a vacation in Rapid City, SD and traveling I90 we saw all kinds of tractor trailers with flatbeds hauling hay. Was hoping that two of those were on there way to your ranch.
I’m amazed at the workings of a cattle ranch!
That was fun to watch. Bravo!!
Really enjoyed this video!! Good Team work
I sure wish I was there with my horse. It makes moving those big boys sooo much easier.
id love to try that myself.
I have all sorts of stuff in the garage I've told Todd might "could use that" he is so nice about it. He says "Suure honey whatever you say" 😂
At least without horns they can't really hurt each other! God Bless and have a Wonderful Week!! 😊⚘❤
Well that went well. A couple of tense moments!!
Thanks for posting this. Nice video
Always so entertaining watching your videos. Love them all
Just found your channel today and I’m really enjoying the videos. (I live and work on a farm in England.)
Great video as always!
Arrowquip needs a solar panel and charge controller.
that would be nice
That's a great idea!!
Lots of cheap $30 kits on amazon. Come with the controller.
Thanks for the new video. I so look forward to seeing what's happening with your cattle, the cows, the bulls, the calf and occasionally some deers

That actually went well. Bulls can be very dangerous and hard to handle. Glad no major issues for you all.
Yes lol I’ve been Nailed by one that was partially down.
the bulls are so smart, he knew he had to go into the other side of the fence.
What great equipment. You are lucky to have Jeff. He’s great.
Plenty of danger with those bulls. Glad you got the work done with no major injuries.
I enjoyed watching you round up the bulls. 🤗
WOW! Really cool. I had no idea how hard it is.

That’s funny, when we we’re moving cattle. We would jokingly call it air lifting cattle 😂. It was always such a pain
