We are half way through the CoP28 being held in Dubai - with half a million registrations, 77,000 delegates, 189 countries- that will end next week. Many controversies have roiled the UAE Presidency, but they have also been able to clear quite a few agreements.

Very nice analysis. New to know that India could neither be a beneficiary or a contributor to the L&D fund. Was this suppose to be a leader level summit like COP21 in Glasgow? The participation was certainly more than Sharm-el-Sheikh. Aren't the leader level summits of COP to be held every 5 years ?

Benign name Greenhouse gases is a misnomer, Redhouse gases more accurate. Albedo reflection at high frequency is reflected back to earth albeit partially,while a farming greenhouse would let it through. Also, farming greenhouse does not allow escape of long wave infrared radiation.
Correction to Redhouse gases may bring more urgent action.
