Good review. Comfort and ease of use outweighs a tiny bit if power. I have the BR 800 x stihl. Love it. Something I could run all day. And as you get close to leaves it scoops them off the ground better. The echo is a beast, but not as fun to wear.

I own a small lawn care business and have used Echo since day one with no issues. five years and everything is still in factory condition regarding performance. I own an 8010 blower. Only complaint I have is it's heavy! Worth every penny.

I can honestly say if I bought the Stihl 800 and then got to use the 9010 I would have buyers remorse. I like the fact on the first few throttle settings it is plenty enough but when you get into thick wet leaves or small logs you got all the power you need. It is a little heavy and does suck gas at a alarming rate. It idles like it has a decent reed valve

This is not a true test I’ve had both and the 9010 pushes the 800 out the park the 800 stihl with heavy leaves you see the difference small clean ups 800 does great but with leaf clean ups you will see where cfm pics up

Your review is appreciated however, the music is extremely distracting & overpowering. It makes it very hard to hear or understand anything you are saying. Also, this was a very basic & short lived comparison.

I agree, this was not in depth at all and nothing covering extended use etc. This is like "hey I just pulled these out of the store shelf, let's play and see what we get...

If you're going review these, then you should review the entire machines with both positives and negatives. The first thing I noticed was the channel's name gives the impression that you'll already be biased... The PB9010T have shown some carburetor issues, you can find out about those here: ua-cam.com/video/NPG23dXMe-0/v-deo.html The Echo also has an issue with the kill switch wire wearing through and shorting the machine to shut them off...
She also talks about the Stihl having issues, but those were the 800X not the C-E Magnum. I'm not sure about the Echo brand but Stihl plays word games saying "made in America" when they are not entirely made in America, it's more like they're assembled in America, which is different. Stihl with anything bigger than the 500 used a an extremely cheap wrist pin in the piston ao those can wear out and you can get piston slap if you run cheap crap oil in them. You can actually run the Echo oil in the stihl and Chickanic mentions that in some of her videos.
The Stihl seems to have more comfort and more heavy duty straps, plus a waist and chest strap on them, which help distribute weight better. Also you didn't even touch on the side start pull which allows you to start the blower back up without having to take it off, so you're not really giving people a whole picture on both machines. I'm was debating on the Stihl this year but will definitely check out the PB9010T before making a decision, as I don't like how Stihl plays word games about the made in America part, it feels as though they lie to the consumer, if I find the same with Echo, then I will go with the Stihl.
You guys didn't really factor in how someone hustling to get leafs blown can outwork someone not putting in much effort. Also if you're leaf blowing on a job, you're not going to be standing in one spot, so it's really hard to even call this video a comparison...and it's short term, you didn't even cover anything long term, it sounded more like you just pushed manufacturer specs. They are both good blowers and it's hard to say there is a clear winner and they both have their strong point and areas and both have their weak points and areas.

Sounds like you have some bias too lol. Obviously, you like the Stihl, so enjoy it. They are just saying, the Echo is the most powerful.
