What amazing technology is that! It's light a flat screen. I thought Sony were the only ones doing flat screens with their Trinitrons. Also, the tube looks quite compact for a 29" size!
I just bought one of these from a guy yesterday for $150. Unfortunately it has a little burn in from the golf game it came out of and I’m having a greenish picture in darker scenes and other oddities. I wish I new how to do cap kits and repairs on these. By the way I measured the diagonal and it’s 27” not 29”.
Doubtful. All the 27" models were medium resolution cuved tubes only. The Makvisions were all for flat tubes. it MIGHT work, but you could damage the chassis or the yoke, and the image would have bad geometry issues because you're putting a chassis meant for a flat tube on a curved tube. The yoke would most surely either burn up or the chassis would be damaged.
I just acquired a Big Buck Safari with this display in it and there’s is a slight click/tick from the board every second or so with the display not powering on at all. Any tips on how to solve?

Wow, what a beautiful monitor.
Slightly misleading titles since the monitor worked without repairs, but I'm grateful for the footage. Thx
Just sticking with the theme of all the videos being titled that way. Thanks for watching.
@@MikesArcadeMonitorRepair Ahhhh. I see that now. Makes sense!
That is a nice tube, the geometry looks absolutely spot on👌 definitely keep that monitor.
