The office window backdrop looks like the same one used in the old "Ironside" series.

The Old Hall of Justice in San Francisco was used as the fictional location for the "Ironsides" series. It had been closed for years, and demolition had begun at the time the series began filming. It seems a shame to have destroyed a magnificent structure in the name of so-called "progress!" 🙁

Bill Kennedy, who plays Capt. Leonard, went on to become a popular Sunday afternoon movie host on Windsor, Ontario, and Detroit TV for many years.

Discussing a out loud suspect’s past criminal history would possibly taint or influence the thought processes of any potential witnesses I would think. Some of the information provided may not even be brought or admissible in the courtroom proceedings later on in fact. All this process of questioning them at a line up is introduce information that could be objected to by a defense lawyer. This may prejudice the witness from jump street.

Keep in mind the Rules of Evidence/Court Procedure were very different back in 1954.

Seems they packed more in these half hour shows than they do in 2 hour movies today. Oh wait, there wasn't any sex and other stupid crap.
