Wondering why they don’t give baby gorillas more toys in zoos. Also where are tases babies Mothers? Where are they? Why are they here ? What’s the story anybody know? Love watching them but have a few important questions.
Hi, these gorillas came from different zoos to Stuttgart because their mothers died or they didn't accept them. In order to give the babies a chance of survival, they were raised by hand in Wilhelma Zoo.
QuiekerKanal I just looked up your facility. It is awesome. I love watching the babies and now I know all about why and what’s going on. God bless and keep up all the hard work and thank you for all the videos.

@H P I am still trying to understand why they gave up their son... As I know Okanda was at a zoo from early days... This is what I know so far... Okanda was at a zoo in Stuttgart, Willema in Germany when he was a baby till last time I saw him about 2 yrs of age... from there I have no knowledge of what happened to him, that was 8 yrs ago...you can see him under... Stuttgart nursery in Germany... That's all I can get of the situation.. I'm bummed out I can't get more information... If you do get more bplease inform me... Sonja
Okanda grew up with his mother for the first six months until he suddenly became very weak and therefore had to be taken from her. The cause was a lack of nutrients in breast milk.
@@QuiekerKanal Thank you for replying, I have been on a mission to know more about him... He would be about 8-9 .Do you know where he is... I've only seen him at Stuttgart as a baby... Please any information would be much appreciated... THANKS

@H P They don't have plastic toys in the wild. They are letting them put things in their mouths that they shouldn't. Those painted plastic toys are not good for them. The handlers should also have on masks and gloves to prevent them from acquiring human diseases which can kill them quickly~!! africageographic.com/blog/masking-up-for-gorillas/
Absolutely cute video, to bad the visitors are so loud, very rude! Why don’t you but up “Quite Please” signs. This is the baby’s first impression, how can the go out to quite? Also, another thing I notice, the caregiver was letting the milk just run down his chin and neck. She was not noticing and wiping it off. Put still awesome!
I could watch these videos all day! These babies are adorable!
These videos of the baby gorilla nursery in Stuttgart are pure gold. If you made a feature length movie about it you would be a star ⭐️
Quanto sono belli questi bimbi gorilla! 🤗
Okanda is all grownup now with kids of his own! Love this him, he's so sweet and a loving dad too!

Okanda is brother to Lope, Shufai and half brother to Matadi.
Have you seen Okanda, looks like Lope, the resemblance is uncanny.
What's the back story with these babies? I wonder why four were not looked after by their gorilla mums?
This gorillababys are orphans from all zoos of Europe - they collected them in Stuttgart so they can raise up together with other gorillas.
What happened to the babies parents?
She has her hands full and that nursery
Muito 🩷🩷🩷 safadinho 😃😃❤❤❤❤❤❤
Do you know what will the zoo do with these babies in the future?

There’s glass separating the gorillas and the visitors, so they can’t hear as much.
