- Hey, in this video I go over the complete essentials to combat, so you can master or prepare your adventure in Zenless Zone Zero! It is a very fun and action-packed game, and I'm playing currently in the Closed Beta 2! Whether you're an Ellen main or a Nekomata main, understanding how your abilities truly work is going to core for the endgame if you don't want to get deleted.

I can see the complex of this combat now. But tbh this complexity can not be seen if the bosses and mods cant handle normal attack, hope they can make them harder, plus, put some limit for the characters attack is also nice.
Yeah it gets better when enemies start scaling

And its crazy how folks wanna downplay the difficulty as if Genshin is any sort of hard at lvl 50 or HSR hard before you get to MOC 3 while still under leveled lmao. Excited to see the difficulty spike!
Most people aren't at the spikes just yet, it gets pretty tricky especially since you can scale the difficulty yourself haha ^^ Im excited!
Quite the informative vid, I did know most of this but it did give me new things to be hyped about. I do look forward to seeing your advanced combat analysis, I want to learn more about those team ultimates and if there’s any more outside of Ben + Koleda 👀
Only one with Ben + Koleda, but everyone has resonances, and maybe more unit combos in the future :D
finally a very great explanation and presentation even to beginners without referencing past Hoyo games. This content is good introduction for combat beginners, or potential players who wants to play the game.
oh wow i never looked up any guides despite wanting to actually learn more about the combat in this game (im a certified button masher at this rate) because i only like watching guides from ccs i trust so its a real treat seeing this on my feed :D ur my go-to for star rail stuff so im hoping u make more for zzz especially on release!!!

Oh, btw, can you also do something like a moveset list showcase for every characters? (if possible, of course.)
Since most of these characters have different mechanics and combos, i think it would be nice if we can see the intricasies of their moves and attacks in a detailed manner, especially for the ones that doesn't get into the closed beta.

Its a roguelike. Enemies are HP sponges if youre underlevelled which.. everyone is rn :D Same as how Sim Uni felt when we were starting out in HSR. They have diff mechanics to deal with in combat but theres not much other ways to increase difficulty on one same boss type. Maybe new bosses?

That was amazing. Earlier this beta, I almost lost hope for this game to be anything meaningful. After this guide though, I'm starting to think they're doing a good job (aside from the aesthetics and speed change Nicole had lol)

I thought this would be the final beta, but since there's only two characters that have combined skills with each other so far, I feel like there's still a lot of changes to expect from the game tonbe shown in a third beta, but with there being so much story already in this beta, I wonder if the next one is only gonna be combat and roguelike changes.
I think another CBT for the 2nd endgame since theres a slot missing rn and we only have one

The combat looks like fun but I hope it isn't too reliant on ping and I wonder if they chose to forgo the ping dependent combat and swapping like in Genshin
Im playing on NA despite being in EU, its quite good despite the ping diff! Havent noticed it

Combat system looks awesome but the tv puzzle thing is what makes me worried about the game. I hope it's not as boring as it looks
MUCH More fun when you're actually doing it, and it gets better as you go on. if you dont like it, it ends up happening less in the endgame, you still need it to traverse the endgame, but it serves a purpose and isnt puzzles in that case

PGR players are gonna have dodging in this game
Hate to break it to you, but the combat feels less difficult than something like hi3, let alone pgr. Enemies attack once in a blue moon, and most attacks from bosses are easily dodge-able due to the glint before them. The frames for parrying are pretty generous too.

I’m not gonna be playing. No matter how I see this, it looks so barebones and only a little better than Honkai Impact 3rd. The character rotation function is already overdone at this point (with Aether Gazer at least changing things up).
From the gameplay alone, you are simply hitting a HP bar of enemies until they die… HoYoVerse hasn’t really made gameplay different from Honkai Impact with how things work.
I know people will still like ZZZ since HoYo has consistently made good story games, but I am just tired at this point.
Wish anyone well who can dedicate themselves to learning a new game after the first three (Honkai, Star Rail, Genshin, etc(.

@@guobauncertified I’d say fortunate if they choose to do Gacha stats on Relics again. I already invested enough time on Star Rail, so I’d rather fall over on my face flat onto the ground than do that again. Plus, they have consistently made games that make progress insanely hard.
Characters that take way longer than should be needed to be built. A good balance of story and advertising that works if you only have one game, but falls apart when you gotta do that with every title released.
It’s cruel, but I’d rather spend time with my family than even attempt to give some love to ZZZ.
Though that’s a personal issue. New gamers who didn’t get into the Honkai and Genshin train: good luck! 👍
